Anyway, my edginess has peaked on this wonderful Saturday night and I decided to delete all the drafts I had planned for this web serial for the sake of doing what I did before. Not going to lie, I'm pretty stupid to think planning was a good way to write a story because I should clearly just do what I have always been doing and just write without thinking too deep.

You guys can just skip the prologue because there's nothing useful there that you will miss and probably nothing that is too important for the future plot.

Jokes aside, I've discovered that the lifestyle of someone on the receiving end and someone on the creating end live completely different lives. So turns out, it's a bad idea to juggle reading a couple books, mangas, and watching anime all the while writing a web novel on the side. That's my advice to anyone planning to create some stuff. But I don't really know much so don't take my word for it.

That said, I've gotten a lot better in terms of writing endurance but I am also conflicted with what to do as there are a lot of different writing styles now that I look at it. Modern books and most "actual" books are slow while web serials like those online are fast as frick with cliffhangers at every interval when the main character isn't dead.

I'm going to yolo it like I have been doing before and start without any backup chapters because I find that knowing I have editorial power over something before it has been submitted gives me a feeling of unease which creates a perfectionist with an unquenchable thirst. I mean, I wrote 5 pages dedicated to the single action of a push-up and I think there's something awfully wrong with that—well, in the dreaded Monogatari series, the author writes a whole damn couple pages on women's underwear so I guess me having an obsession with anatomy and martial arts is comparable to erotic degener—whoops, gotta stop myself there.
