《I Will Be Recognized》33. Wizarding Academy

Once everyone was finished packing, Professor Graybeard brought us to the dining hall for dinner. We finally saw the academy after a bit of walking and it looked pretty similar to our academy. We traversed through the empty halls and shortly arrived at the dining hall.
Upon entering the dining hall, I immediately noticed the flying candles in the air and the massive chandeliers as well as the rows of tables. It felt like a scene out of a Harry Potter book... What the h*ck, this was exactly how the banquet hall in Harry Potter looked like. Are you sure this isn't called Hogwarts?
"Our friends from the Magic Knight Academy are finally here! Let us give them a warm welcome!" A charismatic old man sitting all the way at the front table on the stage said.
Looking at the man, I had kind of expected him to somewhat look like Dumbledore or something but my expectations were unfounded. His gray facial hair went surprisingly well with his goatee and slick back bun. He was the ideal samurai figure.
We followed Professor Graybeard all the way to the front of the four long tables. As I walked over, I saw Professor Alice sitting on the same table as the old man.
"Please, make yourselves at home here. These two front tables on the middle isle will be your guest tables." Said the old man.
The food was already prepared on the table but no one else seemed to be eating yet; it was as if they were waiting for us. This academy seemed to be extremely formal.
"My name is Samith Gerald, the current headmaster of the Wizarding Academy. Our rules here are the same as the Magic Knight Academy so you are free to wonder off anywhere you wish when classes are over. Your watch's class schedules have already been updated and adjusted for the week. I hope your time here at our Wizarding Academy is enjoyable. Anyway, let us rid ourselves of the formalities and dig in!" With the old man's announcement, the previous silent hall had suddenly bustled with the clattering of kitchenware and murmurs.

I was seated next to a student of the academy with Rachel on my right side. The food was really delicious and a lot of the things were something I had never had before. As I ate on, more and more people started to stare at me in disbelief. The people in my class weren't fooled though; they had seen me in the academy canteen ravishing the food like a beast so they also stepped up their pace. If they didn't that just meant more food for me. Shortly after, we(I) had already finished all the food in my area.
Rachel seemed a bit pitiful so I left some food for her but I was unrelenting toward the others.
Rachel seemed to be full as well so we left to wander around the academy building. There was a map of the campus in our watches so we could navigate the building easily.
I was genuinely curious about the assortment of books in their library but Rachel wanted to exercise since it had became a routine for her after eating.
With that said, we headed to the academy's training area. It was slightly different from our academy since most people here did not train physically, but rather magically.
They had training rooms specifically designed to have a higher concentration of high quality magic particles. The air and magic particles here were already much richer than the Kingdom of Art but with the training rooms, it rose the benefits of training to the next level.
Either way, being in a higher quality environment made the fruits of training much better. Rachel looked a bit dissatisfied that there were no areas for "physical training" but she still went into a training room in the end.
She was probably going to leave after a couple minutes but I didn't mind her and occupied my own training room.

I set a timer on my watch to remind me about class just ten minutes before it started.
I sat there in the middle and released all the mana in my body as well as absorbing the higher quality magic particles. It wouldn't make too huge a difference but a difference was a difference. I wasn't one to complain when there were gains to be made.
Once I had completely exchanged it, I could feel the mana coursing through my body powerfully. I had long since reached the Mana Body state a week ago. When my mana is completely full, my body receives a 10% boost in sturdiness, strength, and agility. It was something that knights without magic potential could only wish for.
To reach the next stage: Mana Aura, my mana purity had to be refined to the level of a True Sage also known as the nineteenth stage of Magic cultivation. There were records of rare occurrences where some prodigies could reach that stage before breaking through to the True Sage realm but the chances of that happening to me were slim to none. I could also continue training my Mana Circulation but that was kind of boring so I just practiced level 2 spells and Dual Cultivation.
Outside of the rooms, there were numbers labeled on them. These numbers represented the level of spells they could absorb up to. I was currently in a level 5 training room which could absorb magic of the 5th level. Of course, if your manifestation foundations were close to perfect like wizards, casting a simple level 5 spell could cause damage close to a level 6 or 7 spell.
Over the course of three months before coming here, we had learned about casting level 2 and 3 spells. Unlike what the Professor Lapis said about spells being hard to learn, I thought it was actually pretty simple. All you had to do was memorize the magic circle for the corresponding spell.
By using mana to recreate the magic circle in your hand, the spell could be cast. Once you mastered a spell, the circles would no longer appear and all you had to do was think of the magic circle for the spell to be cast. Even though magic circles did not appear, it would still take at least a second to cast the spell. But if you have Instant Cast, then the spell would be cast instantaneously with no delay at all.
As spell levels increase, the size of the magic circles increased as well as the amount of circles that could be identified. Level 2 spells consisted of 2 circles, level 3 with 3 circles, 5 with 5 circles and so on. All magic circles looked different from the other and they could theoretically be altered but it had yet to be achieved. This was also why there was a limited amount spells known to man. The magic circles for casting spells had always been common knowledge among magicians since forever so no one really knows who created them, or really, where they came from.
