I was in the midst of training in the training room just now but it seems I have finally finished. It was Sunday and I had started training two nights ago so around 38 hours have passed. Draconic Footwork wasn't anything too special, but with it, I could dodge almost any normal attack without even trying. It also worked in tandem with all the other Draconic techniques which greatly enhanced my strength. The me as of now could probably beat Rachel with a little effort.

It looks like this Mystery Box can only be unlocked in 240 days so I didn't spare it much attention.

A plethora of knowledge was instantly implanted into me.

This was slightly different from how I usually learned techniques from the system.

It was as if I had complete knowledge and everything about the technique already.

Spear of the Myriad Forms was extremely different from any fighting style I have ever seen. Instead of the usual fighting style, Spear of the Myriad Forms required a calm and serene mind in battle. Unlike its former technique, it did not require me to find flaws in the opponent.

By staying in an empty state, I can have complete control over the bodily functions. My reaction speed reaches a god-like state. In exchange for these benefits, I need to be extremely flexible with my Spear. The fundamentals of this Spear art was to be able to adapt to any situation and exploit advantages. Similar to survival, the one who can adapt to their environment the best and fastest will survive. That was what this Spear art was about.

So what if the opponent was extremely strong? If I was faster than him, I could kill him before he moves. So what if the opponent was extremely fast? If I can adapt to his speed, he won't be able to land a single strike on me. Why do I need to find a weak point? All I need to do is create a weak point in the opponent for me to exploit.

Contrary to the name of the art, the Spear art was formless. There was no wrong form. If you could beat the opponent, that was all that mattered. This Spear art only had three moves—it only needed three moves. The first was piercing. The second was slashing. The third was linking. The first two were self-explanatory but the third was also fairly simple. You could link anything together and it would flow smoothly. You could create a random combo from the top of your head and when you execute it, it would seem as if you had practiced that specific combo for years when in reality, you only just came up with it. This was what flexibility was.

I trained a bit more and left to get an actual lunch. I had ran into Rachel along the way and I agreed to train with her after eating. While I was eating with Sam and Robert at our usual spot, I had the sudden urge to check my status window. I hadn't checked on it a single time since coming to the academy.
