I was a uni student back on Earth. My life then had little to no meaning. No matter what I did, I would never be recognized by the world since I was only an average student. My life had little significance to the world, even if I died, no one would know, and no one would care.

It happened on that rainy night; I was drunk with a group of friends partying till midnight. When I was returning home, I saw a rather petite girl seeming to be in high school, walking on the red light playing on her phone with Air Pods in ear. I saw a truck coming from afar so I tried shouting to her. To my expectations, she did not react at all.

I tried screaming louder and this time, she looked back. Her face showed disgust at me, as if I were a madman howling at the moon at midnight. She did not seem to get the message I was sending her. Maybe it was because of my drunk appearance that made me look crazy.

As the truck came closer without stop, I saw the driver looking down, seemingly not paying attention. Don't these people know not to text while driving? As the truck inched closer and closer to the girl, soberness started to return to me.

The girl still did not see the truck. I didn't know why but my body reacted on its own. I leaped in and pushed the girl to the sidewalk as the truck crashed into me. Blood started trickling down my head. The human body sure was weak. Unable to open my eyes any further to inspect the situation, I tipped over and blacked out.

My death came so suddenly, yet I did not regret it. That final contribution of mine to save the school girl was not something I would normally do, was it due to me being intoxicated? Death felt fulfilling in a way—almost as if I had been freed from the restraints of society.

On the planet Argo, there existed 4 continents. Namely, Argon, Yggdrasil, Niflheim, and Cryptoloc.

Argon is the land of the humans, with the Holy Church keeping everything in order. Yggdrasil is the land of mutants such as elves, beast men(includes many races), and other harmonious beings. Niflheim is the land of the demons, hostile in nature with all other races. Lastly, there is Cryptoloc, a land separated from the other three continents, surrounded by water on all sides. It is rumored for there to be another form of civilization there but no one knows since no one has ever returned alive.

Anne closed the book after reading to her new born son, Daniel. They resided in a rural village on the outskirts of the Kingdom of Arts. Daniel being only a couple months old was fast asleep as a baby should.

Anne murmured to him as she proceeds to give the baby a kiss on the forehead. "Mama loves you."
