《Descendants 3: Happily Ever After》How Chad Met Briar
Advertisement
This chapter actually takes place when the core five comes to Auradon. It's supposed to be how Chad and Briar actually met. It's a flashback chapter. This is what Chad tells Audrey in the morning.
At Auradon prep (before the VKs come to Auradon)
CHAD'S POV:
Ben came running in my direction, not giving me any chance to speak. "Chad, as my best friend, please be on board for what I am about to say." He pleaded hopefully.
"What are you going to say?" I asked curiously, confused as to what made him act like this.
"I invited five VKs from the Isle to come and find redemption." Ben declared happily.
"Who did you choose, Ben?" I asked, trying to mask my shock.
"I choose Cruella De Vil, Jafar, the Evil Queen, and Maleficent," Ben revealed confidently, though he seemed a little unsure of himself.
"You choose them? Wow, Ben, you are so lucky to have me as a friend, right Ben?" I teased with a grin.
"Yeah, right," Ben answered, patting my back jokingly.
As I left Ben in his thoughts I saw Audrey who was looking quite nice today. "Hi, Audrey." I waved.
"Oh, hello Chad." Audrey greeted.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Among the five VKs, there was one who looked terrified, which made me sympathetic. It was a girl with a punk/princess style which I found quite attractive. "My name is Briar, I'm Maleficent's daughter." She said with a kind smile. She doesn't seem so bad, and I swear I knew that name from somewhere.
"Chad Charming," I responded with a smile. I kinda like her already. But she looks like Queen Belle, not Maleficent. Weird.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hey Ben, can I ask you a question? Why did you pick Maleficent's daughters to come?" I inquired.

"Well, I choose them because I thought that the two might need some redemption in their lives, and to set themselves apart from their mother," Ben answered.
"Cool." That's all I said before heading outside.
In the gardens
I left my dorm to stroll in the gardens and get some fresh air when I saw a certain leather jacket and blue dress "Briar!" I yelled out, startling her.
"Sorry! I just came outside to enjoy the scenery, that's all your-um-should I say, your highness?" Briar asked uncertainly.
"Actually, just Chad is fine, Miss Briar" I politely kissed her hand as she blushed. "So what's your schedule?"
She pulled a piece of paper out of her pocket and we looked at it together;
Remedial Goodness 101
Choir
Dance
History of Auradon
"Oh I actually have three of your classes," I noted happily whilst she smiled. "Well not only me. There's Ben, Doug, and even Audrey."
She seemed nervous when I mentioned the others and I gave her a smile and took her hand carefully in mine, every time I touch her it feels right and I get tingles where our skin connects, it's like I've held her hand before and I can't shake that feeling away.

Mistbound: Eternity
The world is said to be formed out of duality of man. Good and evil, right and wrong, light and dark. And with duality, comes conflict. A meaningless clash of ideals results in pointless wars. Azlan is wanderer who doesn't falls in either category. Tired and done with the redundant world, he lives his secluded life, hunting monstrosites for coin in the crumbling province of Mountaliya, situated in the land of Forsa. The premise follows Azlan as he explores the province, experiencing the culture and its people as they try to stand unshaken amidst a cold and unforgiving world. The story is a dark fantasy that is a balance of action and world building but most importantly, it follows the people going about their daily lives. The world has entered a state of stasis, there are no high stakes, no glory to be had, only a decaying realm of ice remains. Everyone awaits for Heaven's descent, an event prophesied to bring the world out of stasis, by granting the champion of the event a wish. Heaven Shall Descend. I wanted to write a high fantasy story that doesn't focuses too much on Magic and Swordfights, but rather interactions between people, a bit of politics and ideals. This is my first attempt at writing something this huge, please let me know if you see mistakes or any problems in general, so I can learn from them. (The cover picture is from the year 1818, "Wanderer Above the Mist" by Caspar David Friedrich). I also write Short stories set in the same shared universe.
