《Descendants 3: Happily Ever After》Telling The Family About Chad

BELLE'S POV:
I sat in the castle's dining hall talking with my husband as we waited for Ben, Mal, Briar, and Chad to meet us. "Hi mom, pops!" Ben greeted us happily, guiding Mal to a seat and pulling it out for her to sit. I smiled at his behaviour.
"Hello Lady Belle, Sir Adam." Mal slightly waved with a polite smile.
"No need to be so formal Mal, just call us Belle and Adam." My husband smiled at her.
"So Mal, Ben, when will the wedding be?" I asked curiously.
"Well, we actually didn't discuss the wedding yet," Ben replied sheepishly, taking Mal's hand in his own as she blushed.
"But we were thinking about the colour scheme," Mal said with an excited smile.
"Well, what kind of colours did the both of you pick?" Adam inquired.
"Purple and blue," Ben answered.
"Why did you pick those colours?" I asked them.
"We picked them because purple is my family colour, and blue is Ben's because it's the royal colour of Auradon and your family," Mal explained.
"Well I think it's perfect, it represents you both so well." I smiled approvingly at the couple before me.

BRIAR'S POV: OUTFIT- pinterest.co.uk/phoebenock2/telling-them-b/
I wandered into my room and noticed it was empty, the stuff Audrey had previously left inside gone. The thought of her stuff setting off the memory of a few days ago when I found her and Chad together, my heartbreaking all over again. I looked at my bedside at the engagement ring that sat in its box, I hadn't put it back on since that day. I started to sing as I walked towards it, holding it in my hand as tears streamed down my face. I sang my heart out, letting out every pent-up emotion I had in me. As I sang the last note I took a deep breath and pulled out my phone, putting the ring box in my jacket pocket and leaving the room, dialling Cogsworth's number as I walked out to the front of the school, not even bothering to wipe away my tears. "Cogsworth, can you pick me up? I'm at the front of Auradon Prep, I can't explain right now." He agreed and told me he would let my parents know I was coming before hanging up.

I paced in the courtyard, not even realizing I was crying again as I waited to be picked up. The car pulled up beside me and I climbed in only to be engulfed in a hug by Lumier. "What is going on Briar? Why are you crying?" he asked as we let go.
"Chad." Was all I could choke out as we drove to my parent's castle.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When we arrived home I saw my brother, my parents, and Mal stood outside with concerned looks on their faces. I tackled my mum in a hug as my dad shot me a concerned look. "Let's go inside." He suggested, well more like ordered, taking my arm gently and guiding me into the living room. Once I was sat and managed to compose myself I was finally able to look at everyone, Mal sat beside me rubbing my back reassuringly and Ben paced angrily.
"Chad cheated on me." I managed to utter out. Ben froze and the angriest look I had ever seen grew on his face.
"With who?" Mal demanded.
"A-Audrey." I stuttered, breaking out into sobs again.
"When did he cheat on you?" Dad asked attempting to stay calm but I could feel the rage radiating off of him and Ben, they were obviously attempting not to suddenly beast out on me.
"I think it's been going on since the summer but I found out a few days after he proposed," I answered looking down at my shaking hands.
"Chad will pay for what he did you, he does not get away with this so easily," Mal promised wholeheartedly.
"I'll have a word with him," Ben growled.
"Not before I do." Dad snapped, walking to the fireplace to grab his sword before mum stopped him.

"Violence isn't the answer here." She took the sword away and placed it back on the fireplace. "But we will fix this, you won't have to worry about him anymore."
I nodded, taking a shaky breath as they began to leave the room and let me relax on my own. "Ben," I called, stopping him from leaving, he walked over to me as I stood from the settee. I took the ring box out of my pocket and handed it to him. "Could you give this back to him?"
He gave me a supportive smile and nodded. "I don't know about giving it to him but he'll certainly get it."
I managed a small smile and sat back down, staring at the fire absentmindedly as they all left me alone to my thoughts.

Man of Earth
Magic is a terrifying force. Logic itself is subject to this energy, which is (logically speaking) impossible for us to comprehend. Every universe requires some version of magic to exist. That is, all but one. Our world functiouns based on a powerful and intricate net of laws that act independently from magical interference. The most notable of these is the human brain, which is capable of even more than its creator had thought possible. Naturally, this prompted the question: "How would a human fare in a world of magic?" Soon, there was a bet. Next, a human was selected. Finally, an odd young man with a strange black hat was introduced to his new world, and all restraints were removed.
