《Descendants 3: Happily Ever After》Is that Audrey?

It was a glorious day in Auradon, the birds were singing, bees buzzing happily as they went about their work. Briar awoke with a smile in her room, her earlier dream of a day on the beach with her loving boyfriend still lingering in the far corners of her mind. She jumped as she noticed her friend of three years stand by her bed. "Morning." Audrey greeted her with what seemed to be a forced smile. She had been doing a lot of that lately, Briar noticed.
"Good morning." She sat up in bed and stretched out her arms, feeling her body let out a satisfying crack she released and stood up, straightening out her bed.
"Aren't you going to comment on my new look?" Audrey asked with a smirk as she did a twirl in the entrance of the room, so that's what she had come over so early in the morning for.
Briar grinned and gave her a thumbs up. "You look great, almost like Mal." She noticed Audrey's face drop into a scowl at the mention of her friend's name but shook it off, looking on at her own long brown locks. "Maybe I should do something with mine?"
Audrey ignored her and walked out of the room, she raised an eyebrow in question but shrugged it off and began to collect her clothes for the day. Choosing a rather bold, pink outfit she completed the look with accessories and rushed out of the room to find Evie. She was walking out of her house as Briar caught her, almost crashing into her. "Briar?" Evie asked, helping Briar regain her balance. "What's going on? has something happened?"
Briar shook her head, catching her breath. "I want you to dye my hair."

Evie didn't even attempt to hide the shock on her face. "Dye your hair? What brought this on?"
Briar shrugged. "I think it might be time for a change, I need to remember where I came from. Yeah, I'm biologically a Queen but I was still mainly raised in the Isle of The Lost, I can't get rid of that part of my life so I think it's something I should embrace. Like Mal does."
Evie grinned and nodded, taking her arm. "In that case." She led her back into her home. "I'm thinking some pink highlights and a whole new outfit!"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It took a few hours but when Evie was finally finished with Briar she could barely recognize herself. "Woah!" She grinned at her friend, pulling Evie into a tight hug. "Thank you."
"No problem, if I'm completely honest, I enjoyed it." Evie grinned as they pulled away. "Major nostalgia over here." She joked as they laughed. "But if I'm honest, you look amazing, more..."
"More like me." Briar finished for her. "I've been pampered so much the past few years I forgot how good it was to act myself, to dress how I used to." She adjusted her pink and black jacket and nodded to her reflection, happy with her look.
Evie looked down at her watch and gasped. "We're going to be late!" She grabbed Briar's hand and dragged her away back to the castle and into Ben and Briar's shared office.
Everyone greeted them with a smile, their eyes widening when they saw Briar. "You look great, sis!" Ben grinned as he pulled her into a hug.
"Thank you, it's all Evie's handy work." She gestured to Evie as her friend beamed with pride.
"Well, you look lovely dear." Fairy Godmother said. "Now, Ben has something to say."

All the attention was diverted to Ben as he cleared his throat, putting on what Briar liked to call his 'King Voice'. "As you know, three years ago I invited five villain kids from the Isle to come and find redemption in Auradon Prep, not knowing that I would find true love or my lost sister." He smiled at Briar and Mal as he linked arms with her and they shared a grin. "But now, I and Briar have agreed, that it's time to give a new set of villain kids the chance to come to Auradon. We ask all of you to come up with a list of the next four lucky children to come to our home for a better chance at life and a fresh start."
The others grinned and excitedly began to talk to each other as Briar walked up to her brother. "You did amazing." She hugged him. "Now we just have to prepare for the newcomers."

Maker of Fire
On a world where magic kept civilization firmly in the bronze age, the Gods dropped an accountant and a mining engineer to start a political and industrial revolution. They wanted enlightened governance and a fast track to the iron age. They got indoor plumbing, paper airplanes, a cranky queen, and one very grumpy prophet. Dramatis Personae Aylem was a bookkeeping student when she died. The Gods reincarnated her as the greatest mage ever known, born into the ruling class of gigantic, magic-wielding humans. The Gods expect her to conquer the world and introduce double-entry accounting. Though Queen and numerical reformer, world conquest is stalled because everyone is scared of her and she doesn't like war. Emily was a retired engineer when she died. The Gods reincarnated her as one of the enslaved class of small, magicless humans. The Gods expect her to drag the world out of the bronze age. Though she's already recreated matches and wrought iron, introducing technology isn't going well because she was born a slave (oops) and having escaped, wants nothing to do with so-called "civilization." Asgotl was a whale when he died. The Gods reincarnated him as a griffin and expect him to have the same role he played in his previous life: to keep a reluctant prophet from walking off the job. If only they had remembered to tell him about it. Revised update schedule will be once a week on Saturdays, noonish Mountain Time (in North America)

A Mildly Odd Reality Breaker
Omar receives an unexpected visitor who comes baring a gift—a "registration ticket"—in the form of a small metal card. The ticket is itself an offer to participate in the game, "Reality Break." Accepting this offer means that Omar will be able to perceive the true nature of reality where there is not one, but two dimensions of time, and in this second dimension history changes (and somewhat "frequently"). Along with this, he will also gain access to the "chronopause"; another reality that is not so much parallel to our own as it is perpendicular, which acts as both a place and the natural boundary between non-sequential points on the timeline. Using the chronopause, Omar will become a chrononaut with the ability to travel through time, and as a player, he will be given a cybernetic interface and his own portable extradimensional storage space. It's a strange conversation, but due to Omar's dismally short attention span, he only consciously hears that last bit about the portable pocket space, and that's only after the physics-defying void is opened in his living room and literally waved in front of his face. Reality is certainly stranger than most people realize, but then again, so is Omar. Thankfully, he responds well to shiny things, and for better or for worse, his chronic inattentiveness is the least of his psychological issues. Omar also has a mild form of "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" which presents itself as an occasional, arbitrary need to disobey others (especially authority figures). However, his oddest psychological issue by far is his "abnormally hyperactive" subconscious mind. Outwardly and consciously, Omar is a lazy, apathetic man-child prone to mildly asinine behavior. Subconsciously, he's some sort of genius capable of extraordinary feats of cognition. Most of the time, Omar is a (technically) functioning adult, but in order to live as such, he must rely entirely upon unusual abilities he's completely unaware of, despite the fact that he uses them regularly. Up until now, his life had merely been ridiculous, but now it was also a game. Note: The narrative style is that of a reliable narrator with a "3rd-person sarcastic" POV. This story takes place in the Reality Breakers/Chronopause universe.
