Hey guys, another chapter for you today. Sorry for the great delay. Number one, it was spring break for me and I went on vacation and only came back today. There wasn't any wifi there unfortunately. Once again, sorry about that and enjoy!
P.S.-This chapter is somewhat short as I couldn't think of anything else to write. Sorry. Next one will be longer.

"So, what will it be, Qiu Yun? We are merely going to have a talk that's all. I mean...we just want to confirm some things. I am sure that Junior Qiu would not refuse to a couple of questions right?" Zhou Guan had a smug smile on his face.
"I am afraid that it is not suitable for me to enter such an esteemed compound with the little status that I have. I will have to pass." Feng Yun was practically mocking Zhou Guan by continuously refusing his invitations. This obviously made Zhou Guan feel very infuriated inside but the man held it in.
"Junior Qiu, does this mean that you are not giving my Zhou Clan any face? We have invited you into our esteemed clan and only wish to talk to you and you still constantly refuse? I am offended." Feng Yun let out a heavy sigh and suddenly, his eyes grew sharper and a cold light glinted within them.
Old man, since you want to mess with this young master, be prepared for the consequences.
"Hmph, giving your Zhou Clan face? Absolutely ridiculous! Your Zhou Clan is simply not worth a fart in this young master's eyes. To want to detain me within your headquarters and question me, it isn't that simple is it?"
Feng Yun's language had suddenly taken a drastic turn from his earlier word usage. Before, he appeared amiable, but now, he seemed like a cold and hard person who would not choose to come quietly. His eyes gleamed with a killing light that vastly differed with the countenance he had before.
"No, what you want to do is question me, and then torture the information out of me. Then, you will toss my body somewhere no one will find me. Tell me, am I wrong, or has your mind gone as senile as your personality?!"
Everyone on the scene was struck speechless, as they had never expected that this seemingly harmless boy would actually directly point out the Zhou Clan's idiocy. This was akin to a slap on the face to the members of the Zhou Clan. Zhou Yanling smiled to herself as she knew that the punishment for Feng Yun wouldn't be as simple as a reprimand. Zhou Guan's eye seemed to pop out of their sockets and fury arose from within them.

"Idiotic boy! I urge you to take those words back else the wrath of the Zhou Clan shall fall upon you!"
"Hah? What wrath? The puny might of one Truth realm expert? Hmph, and you're only at the first stage of the Truth realm as well. What is there to fear from you?"
"Such arrogance! You claim that we are weak but I would like to see you produce a single Truth realm cultivator! Hmph, do you even belong to a power at all?" Feng Yun smiled broadly when he heard this. Zhou Guan and the others felt a bad feeling arising.
"Did you all know, that the surname Qiu is actually fake?" Feng Yun slowly said. "There is no great power in the continent with the family surname of Qiu. However, there is a great power with the surname of Feng!"
Zhou Guan and the others were confused. They had no idea that Qiu Yun was actually an alias. However, where was he going with this nonsense about the surname Feng?
"I'm sure you all are aware that the ruling family of the Cloudscale Sect has the surname of Feng. Zhou Guan, you understand that the Cloudscale Sect is a power that you absolutely cannot offend correct?"
Zhou Guan's eyes narrowed. He still didn't see what was going on. How was the Cloudscale Sect connected to any of this?
"Well then, let me re-introduce myself. My name is Feng Yun, young master of the Cloudscale Sect!"
The name instantly shook the surroundings people. They were thrust into incomparable shock. What kind of power was the Cloudscale Sect? It was an extremely massive power with thirteen elders of an incredibly profound cultivation! They were a power that few would dare to oppose. Hearing that the boy before them was actually the young master of such a great and powerful sect was shocking. However, without proof, they could not be sure.
"Feng Yun huh? You claim that you are Feng Yun, the young master of the Cloudscale Sect, but you do not have any proof to back it up do you?"
Though he said this, Zhou Guan was uneasy. He didn't like the look of confidence that Feng Yun exuded. Zhou Yanling had been initially shocked and even a bit terrified, but then she remembered that Feng Yun had not offered any proof yet. Only Xia Qing was aware that Feng Yun spoke the absolute truth.
"Hmph, you want proof. Very well. I, Feng Yun shall give it to you."
Feng Yun narrowed his eyes and suddenly, his figure began to transform. Scales shot forth from his back and he grew a two meter long tail from behind. His eyes now had slits in them, the kind you would find in wild beasts. His skin grew as tough as leather and had an azure gold color to it. His body practically became an unbreakable armor.

"Innate Divine Beast Ability-Dragonification!"
He looked like a terrifying being now that he had transformed and an invisible pressure manifested itself on everyone at the scene. Even Xia Qing was surprised at this sudden transformation. She had been unconscious when Feng Yun had first used his Dragonification against the Blood Demon Sect disciples. Therefore, this change was unexpected to her.
"So, do you understand now?"
"D-Dragon transformation!"
Zhou Guan managed to stutter out of his mouth as he saw the dangerous appearance of Feng Yun. However, he still didn't believe that the boy before him was the heir to the Cloudscale Sect.
"That does not prove that you are the heir of the Cloudscale Sect! Last time I checked, dragonification isn't an ability of the Cloudscale Sect."
"Are you an idiot?" Feng Yun's voice came out extremely deep and powerful. "Dragonification is an ability that is derived from the dragon clans. I, Feng Yun am the child of both the Tyrant Thunder God Dragon Clan and the Cloudscale Sect."
"He's right. The signature color of the Tyrant Thunder God Dragon Clan's dragonification is azure. Even if he is not the heir to the Cloudscale Sect, just the fact that he is from a dragon clan means he is untouchable to us!" Du Gu Yang remarked.
Zhou Guan was shocked into silence. He had heard many rumors about the child of the Cloudscale Sect, Feng Yun. He had come out as number one in the Four Powers Tournament and had genius potential. Not only that, he was also favored by two of the strongest powers in the Xu Dynasty. Zhou Guan now understood that the boy before him was truly the Feng Yun.
Damn it. Why didn't I see it before? Shit, now that I have offended him, there is a high chance that he will go back to the Cloudscale Sect and ask for the elimination of the Zhou Clan. As he was growing stressed, Du Gu Yang, the City Lord of Azure Sky City walked up to Zhou Guan and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"With this sudden development, there is no doubt that the kid before us is the young master of the Cloudscale Sect. You will be in big trouble if this isn't resolved soon. However, at the same time, you cannot reconcile with him because he has destroyed your clan treasure."
"Brother Du Gu Yang, what am I to do? The clan treasure was the hard work of my clan and now that it is gone, we will be in dire straits. At the same time, I have offended him. I truly don't know what to do." Zhou Guan seemed on the verge of despair. This situation may be the worst that the Zhou Clan has ever faced.
"Simple," Du Gu Yang said. "Kill the boy!"
"What?!" Zhou Guan stared at Du Gu Yang with an incredulous expression. "How can I do that? This Feng Yun surely has life-saving treasures on his body. How am I to kill him without his sect being notified?"
"Actually, it is quite simple. The Blood Demon Sect has always hated the Tyrant Thunder God Dragon Clan and the Cloudscale Sect for a long time. They would love it if the eternal genius of the two powers was killed. If it is done, then the strength and potential of the two powers will drop. Kill Feng Yun, and then seek protection from the Blood Demon Sect. I too will help you with this!"
"You're right Brother Yang," Zhou Guan said. "However, the Blood Demon Sect would be against two powers not one. It would be difficult even for them no?"
"Not true. The Blood Demon Sect has been able to hold their own against the two powers for a long time, which shows that they have a lot of power. They will surely protect you and your Zhou Clan will be safe."
Zhou Guan nodded his head in understanding. Not only would they gain their revenge by killing him, but they would also gain the favor of the Blood Demon Sect. It was a smart move to play. Zhou Guan turned his head to Feng Yun as an evil smile arose on his face.
"Haha, you indeed are the heir to the Cloudscale Sect. I apologize that we didn't see it earlier."
Feng Yun narrowed his eyes. He had been trained in deception for a long time and could see when someone was lying to him. He knew that something was up with Zhou Guan and that his current attitude was fake.
"Unfortunately, since you destroyed our artifact, you have incurred our wrath. The Blood Demon Sect will protect us even if you die!"
"The Blood Demon Sect? You're planning to use them to help you?!"
"Haha yes. You shall die here and although your family will find out, we will still live! Elders, exterminate the boy!

Kai Jameson is an average everyday young man. He still lives at home with his parents after having just graduated from college. He loves playing video games and his job at the local Buy More is tolerable. Of course that all changes the moment the system arrives and the Earth is connected to the Nexus. Turns out Kai was trapped in time for about eighteen months while the people already here got a headstart on him. He lucks into being rescued by some people from a town called Donnyton and learns that if he wants to survive in this New Earth he'll have to work harder than ever before. The rewards are worth it. This is Kai's story, the moments of his triumphs, and the moments when he feels that things couldn't possibly be worse. Thanks to puddles4263 and his story The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound for the inspiration on the world this is set in. If you have never read that I highly recommend it, and if you have read it and enjoyed that story then I hope you'll enjoy mine as well. This is the first story I'm ever putting out for public consumption so reader beware on that. Any constructive criticism is always appreciated, simply leaving a half star review tells me that you're a moron who doesn't know how to use words. I'm constantly trying to improve my writing and feedback and criticism on what works and what doesn't is the only way to do that at the point I feel I am at. Last, I just marked all the content warnings because you never know where a story will take you and I don't want to exclude anything (though there will never be a harem). I am going to release 1-2 chapters per week on Fridays. Thanks and enjoy.

The Tales of YAP: The Superhero Series
“Listen well, and listen kindly, for my story is a story of contradictions; of the dead becoming alive and the weak becoming strong. Likewise, those nominated as the strong are reduced into the weakest of foes. And lovers, those sweet companions, are nothing but crazed psychopaths. This is the type of story I will tell. The story only I can speak of for it is solely mine. And now, as I recount it to you, thence forth it shall belong to all that hear of it. Listen well, then, for I shall begin.”Sooo, that’s it. The world isn’t what it is. The dead are alive. The weak become strong. And bla bla bla. The normal days of a superhero-in-training, I suppose. I hope you have a bit of patience because my story is a long one, and it starts out in the same old, boring world. My name is Yassi Anne P. Sorento, and this is my story before I became the superhero I am today. (First posted on Webnovel with the same title and under the name, Hua_Li_An.)
