Feng Yun held out his hand to the side and used a burst of Yuan Energy aimed at the Overlord Heaven Piercer embedded in the bandit's head. The sword shook its way out of the head and flew to his hand while he was running. Feng Yun was going to assist the chief in his desperate struggle. Hopefully, he could use this to reverse the situation. The sounds of battle echoed all around him. No one payed attention to the little handsome twelve year old running around while they were struggling to live another minute. Blood sprayed everywhere and Feng Yun did not even blink. One or two soldiers happened to notice him but they were struck down as soon as they did. He was merciless and would not hesitate to kill even one. Whichever bandit came before him would have their head sliced cleanly off before they could realize what exactly happened. Very quickly, Feng Yun made his way to the front lines. The status of the battle there was much harder to determine than on the flanks.

There were many scenes of death and destruction, fortunately most of them being from the bandits. After all, though these bandits were powerful, they still lacked the training of a cultivator from the city. Feng Yun maneuvered his smaller body through the battle and surveyed his surroundings, looking for the bald elite commander and Dong Fuzhen. It didn't take him long as that clash was the most bright and eye-catching of them all. Yuan Energy clashed with high intensity and neither side let up. Dong Fuzhen had at most, a few scratches on his body, and a trail of blood leaking out of his mouth, but the bald elite commander clearly didn't really have much injuries himself. Rather, he was still smiling with that wicked grin he had from the start of the battle. He was confident that he would win.

"Haha, after a long fight of nothing happening, it appears that the result shall be decided. You won't admit it, but I can feel it from our clashes. Your Yuan Energy amount is declining and you're running out of it. Soon enough, you shall die, and your mercenary group with it. How does it feel, to know that you were responsible for your own group's deaths? You weren't careful enough and let a spy come into your group. Tsk Tsk, so sad."

"Fuck you and your trickery. A cultivator should have some sort of honor, even the vilest of cultivators. But you...you are so vile and dishonorable that even the heavens would feel anger!"

"You're right, a cultivator should have some sort of honor...but I'm no normal cultivator are I? I'm a bandit, and it's a pretty damn fun job! Now die old man!" The bald commander made his move and brought his sword spirit up to attack Dong Fuzhen. Dong Fuzhen glared at the incoming attack for a moment, but then unleashed his own spirit. He was immediately surrounded by a green aura and a figure resembling a large golem. It looked incredibly tyrannical and held a domineering presence. Feng Yun raised his eyebrows. The Earth Stone Golem! It was a particularly powerful defense oriented spirit that held a lot of power in its body and if matured, could be said to be almost peerless in defense. However, this one clearly was not matured and thus the defense was weaker. Furthermore, Dong Fuzhen was just struggling to support his spirit to remain longer. The spiritual energy used to keep the spirit in sustenance was slowly depleting and he did not have much time left. Feng Yun narrowed his eyes as he noticed this change and acted fast.

Feng Yun took his sword and slashed it down upon his arm. He did not apply too much fore, just enough to make some blood splash out. Sure enough, the blood poured out in a small stream. Feng Yun winced a bit from the pain but he then cleared his expression and activated his spirit ability.

"Overlord Heaven Piercer Second Spirit Ability-Sword Blood Gravity!" The Overlord Heaven Piercer katana glowed with a red light. The blood on his arm began to heat up as it turned to a steam-like substance. The substance rose up into the air in which Feng Yun willed it to go towards the bald commander and limit his movement. The blood wave followed his orders and approached the bald man who was only about a meter away from Dong Fuzhen. The blood wave suddenly began to emit a strong gravitational pressure that pressed down on the bald commander. The bald commander was shocked that such a strong pressure could come from no where. His attack that was close to landing on Dong Fuzhen slowed down to a stop and a bead of sweat dropped from his forehead. Dong Fuzhen looked up in surprise and noticed the gravitational blood wave stopping the attack. He secretly rejoiced in his heart. Could it be that an expert had come to help him kill the bald commander? The bald commander was currently pissed off. The blood wave had stopped him from unleashing his attack and had saved Dong Fuzhen's life. The bald commander exerted some of his Yuan Energy and after a minute, completely dispersed the gravitational blood. He was furious and yelled,

"WHICH COWARD WAS IT THAT DID THAT?!!!" Feng Yun sighed. They could not see him because of the dust from cavalry making visibility terrible but Feng Yun could perfectly see them with his enhanced eyesight. He had not hoped for the Sword Blood Gravity to completely suppress the bald man's movements. That was not possible as the bald man's cultivation was five levels above his. He had only wanted to save Dong Fuzhen for a moment so he could assist him in defeating the bald commander. Feng Yun knew he couldn't hide any longer and emerged from the dust. The bald commander narrowed his eyes to look at the figure that was able to suppress him. However, the sight that met him made him widen his eyes. It was only a twelve year old boy. He couldn't believe it. A twelve year old had managed to suppress him? Impossible! The bald commander looked at Feng Yun's cultivation and found that it was only at the third layer of the Xiantian Realm. His gaze turned from solemnity to happiness. Dong Fuzhen on the contrary was quite disappointed. He thought that it was a great expert that saved him. Instead, it was only a little boy and he wasn't even close to the cultivation of the bald commander. What could he hope to achieve?

Clap Clap Clap.

"Haha, little boy, did you happen to get lost? I'm afraid that you have stepped into the wrong battle. My...that spirit ability just then scared me! Well, since you have gotten me to admire you, I'll tell you this. I'll let you go and you don't bother with this battle. You had best scurry on before I change my mind." The bald commander had regained his composure and began to sneer at Feng Yun. Feng Yun coldly gazed at the bald commander and replied,

"I'm afraid that I'm in the exact place that I need to be. Dong Fuzhen, you're going to have to trust me. Work with me and you will be able to kill this idiot baldy." Feng Yun changed his gaze to Dong Fuzhen and said. Dong Fuzhen was surpised and had found it hard to believe that he would be able to convert the situation to a favorable position. However, within Feng Yun's eyes was the soul of a powerful warrior. Dong Fuzhen couldn't help but feel like trusting him. He couldn't quite describe it, but it was as if the boy before him possessed a strength that could overpower any obstacle that came his way. Perhaps this boy truly is an expert, Dong Fuzhen thought. He stood up and glared nodded with approval at Feng Yun. The bald commander narrowed his eyes and a cold light replaced his originally mocking eyes.

"Then, don't blame me for your death. You both can die together!"He swung his sword filled with spiritual energy at Feng Yun. The attack was incredibly powerful and contained compressed energy stored within his sword spirit. Upon impact, the energy would transfer into the opponent's body and internally combust it. This was one of the bald commander's spirit abilities. Feng Yun however wasn't fazed. He activated his Wind Transferrer spirit ability from his Dragon spirit and disappeared from view. He re-appeared next to Dong Fuzhen in an instant, who widened his eyes at the ability. The bald commander was also very surprised at the ability. He turned around and saw Feng Yun standing next to Dong Fuzhen. Feng Yun then said softly to Dong Fuzhen,

"I don't have the cultivation to deal with him directly so I will use my special methods to distract him. When he's occupied, finish him off with your full strength."

"Alright but are you sure you can handle him for the time being? I need about a minute to gather up my Yuan Energy and spiritual energy."

"My methods can keep me alive for that long. But you better hurry up, and make it count." Feng Yun then charged forward with that and left Dong Fuzhen to recover. The Overlord Heaven Piercer katana in his right hand and his dragon spirit fused with his body. The bald commander gazed at his aura as he charged forward and was instantly shocked by what he saw.

"Dual spirits!!!" He exclaimed. The bad commander was lamenting in his heart that the boy in front of him was a true genius. Nevermind, the bald commander said.

"Oi, kid. You don't need to remain with these weaklings. Join us and you will be treated very well!" The bald commander wanted to rope him in to the bandits's group! Feng Yun completely ignored him and continued forward. The bald commander cursed in his heart. Fine, if that's how you want to play it, then so be it. It's a shame that you have to die but you have made enemies with the wrong man!

The bald commander rushed forward to meet Feng Yun. Feng Yun brought down his sword with a blow infused with a large amount of spiritual energy. The bald commander snorted and brought a slash to meet the strike. A loud clang sound came from the clash and an explosion occurred. Feng Yun was blown back several steps while the bald commander was thrown back only half. Even so, the bald commander was surprised. That sword is special if it can make me, who is five levels above this brat take half a step backward, the man thought. Feng Yun still had his cold expression on his face and once again charged forward, this time with an even greater ferocity. Feng Yun and his sword danced through the air with a gracefulness that caught even the bald commander's eyes. This boy, has surprising control over his sword and skills, he thought. His gaze grew solemn. It was really a shame that this boy had made enemies with the bandits. Feng Yun executed a series of sword strikes that appeared just as quick as they disappeared. They were so fast that even the bald commander had a hard time keeping up. The bald commander managed to only block a few before another dangerous sword strike came at his head. The bald commander, sensing the danger behind it, executed a barrier made of Yuan Energy to defend against it. Feng Yun's sword didn't make it past, but a slight crack could be seen that was made in the barrier.

Feng Yun let out a displeased expression. Truly, the difference between a third layer and eighth layer Xiantian master was too big. Those five levels difference made it impossible for Feng Yun to defeat the bald commander. Feng Yun had a thought. Perhaps if he utilized the Void Element, it would be possible to cause some damage to the bald commander. Usually, the true power of the elements could only be displayed at the truth ream, and to the most creative of degrees, however, with the four true creation elements, that was not necessarily true. The true creation elements could be utilized to a great extent even at the Xiantian Realm. Of course, even if he utilized it, with his level of cultivation, killing the bald commander was still impossible. However, hurting him was a definite possibility. "Kid, it's impossible to beat me with your level of strength. Even if you do have some weird means of fighting me, it is still not enough." The bald commander evidently still didn't believe that Feng Yun had any chance of winning. Feng Yun merely coldly smiled and didn't say anything. Just as the bald commander thought that he was going to charge, a black aura began to surround Feng Yun. The black aura slowly began to expand, making it appear more tyrannical with its increase in size. The bald commander felt shivers down his spine. He was wondering what exactly this power was. The black aura swirled around Feng Yun like a vortex and the aura made its way to his body. The black aura covered his eyes completely and coated his palms. His cold smile looked even more terrifying with the addition of the cosmetics that the black aura fusion offered. Even Dong Fuzhen, who had been meditating in order to recover his Yuan Energy and Spiritual Energy felt the change and a feeling of fear as he opened his eyes. The black aura had also begun to sweep itself across the battlefield and interrupted the fights. Everyone paused their fights because the black aura was really too domineering. It affected people on the other side of the battlefield. They all looked for the source of the black aura and each and every one of their gazes landed on Feng Yun. They were all surprised, especially the members of the 5th Battalion. The only one who remained calm was Xia Qing, who smiled widely.

"Hm? Oh, Feng Yun's getting serious!"

Meanwhile, the bald commander was currently having trouble keeping himself from peeing in his pants. It terrified him to the extent that he could not move. He was also thinking at the same time. What the hell is this black aura? Is this an element? But that can't be! You can't control the elements until you reach the truth realm! He's obviously not in the truth realm. But seriously, no element can have that much pressure!

Under the watchful gazes of all of the people on the battlefield, Feng Yun infused the black aura into the Overlord Heaven Piercer katana. The originally shadow and white auras that resembled darkness and light were swallowed by the black aura known as Void. Although darkness was also black like Void, it wasn't as powerful and never had the swallowing feeling and expansive properties of the Void. There was a clear difference between the two, but since the majority of the people on the continent didn't know about Void, darkness was a good cover for it. Surrounded by the Void aura, Feng Yun charged forward to attack the bald commander. The bald commander was shaken out of his thoughts from the approaching danger. He roared loudly and channeled his full strength into his spirit. He wasn't taking any chances with Feng Yun anymore. He needed to settle this, and fast else Feng Yun would become too dangerous.

Feng Yun's void-filled sword attacked the bald commander's sword head on. The result was a large explosion that seemed to shake the battlefield. Out of the chaos, the bald man was thrown back several steps. However, when looking at Feng Yun's side, he was barely harmed. He still had that terrifying black aura and it seemed to be getting stronger every second. The bald man was endlessly shocked and terrified out of his mind. After the clash, the bald man's temperament had changed from calm to terrified. When he clashed his sword against Feng Yun's sword, the result was that the spiritual energy within the sword that was imbued by the bald man, was completely sucked up like a vacuum. He could not figure it out. But before he could think any further, he was charged at by Feng Yun once more. Feng Yun was unrelenting. He would not stop to give his enemy a break even after they had fallen back. This made it hard for the bald man to counterattack. However, this was only temporary. The usage of the Void Element by Feng Yun was not meant to kill the bald man. No, that was impossible. This was apparent as the bald man continuously clashed with Feng Yun. He began to get bolder and bolder as he realized that Feng Yun's Void Element wasn't actually that powerful. At this point, the situation was quite dangerous for Feng Yun. However, he still held that cold smile and arrogance. The bald man remarked,

"Boy, how can you still smile even when you're losing?"

" Who said that I wished to beat you myself? Dong Fuzhen, time's up! You ready?"

"I'm ready! We can kill him now!" Dong Fuzhen stood up and released a terrifying Yuan energy. The bald commander was shocked. Then, he realized what the point of Feng Yun fighting him was for.

"You...don't tell me.. you were only stalling?"

Feng Yun's reply was fast and with a wide smile.

"Haha, for a good tactician, you are quite stupid. Of course I was stalling. I'm not idiotic. I know I can't beat you by myself. Therefore, I need the help of someone who has the capabilities to kill you." Dong Fuzhen then appeared by Feng Yun's side, face stern and a powerful aura emanating from his body.

"Shall we kill him now?" He asked.

"Yeah, let's go!" They both then charged straight at the bald commander, prepared to destroy the bald commander.

"Die!!!"
