《The Aether Universe》Chapter 54

Fenrir startled awake from his deep sleep as he sensed his master. Before, he couldn't sense Tai since he was in a dungeon, but since he was now out of the dungeon, Fenrir could now sense him with no problems.
"Is something wrong, Fenrir?" a wolf asked him.
Fenrir stood up with his hind legs and looked towards the direction of Tai. When Fenrir took his second trial, he evolved once more, changing into something akin to Werewolves. "Gather the pack. We're heading to the Aether City."
"But the guards will attack us with their ranged weapons. The strong ones can handle it fine, but the pups and the weaker ones won't be able to stand a chance," the wolf argued. This wolf was second in command to Fenrir's pack, the Beta, and Fenrir was the Alpha.
"Bah, I'll take care of the weaker ones. Now, gather the pack."
The Beta nodded and started gathering the pack around Fenrir. After a few minutes, the whole pack was around him. All 57 wolves.
"All Omegas, and pups. Line up in front of me!"
Listening to the Alpha, the omegas and pups did as they were told and lined up in front of Fenrir.
Fenrir smiled. "This'll be quick. Just trust me and don't try to resist."
Fenrir started picking them up one by one and stuffing them in his mouth. Although about a dozen or so wolves went inside his mouth, Fenrir's belly showed no signs of increasing and he only sighed as he finished 'eating' all of the wolves.
The wolves that were watching the scene were shocked, with only the Beta looking unsurprised.
Fenrir wasn't called the Devourer for no reason. The Deadly Sin, Gluttony took a liking to him and once he passed the Trial of Gluttony, he received the sin's powers and he had been mastering it ever since. One such power that he gained was a dimensional storage in his stomach. It could store most non-living things, but it did have a max capacity. The storage could also store living things, but only if it was under an intelligence threshold like a mosquito or if the living being complied to being stored.

"Do not worry everyone. Your pups and the omegas are all safe," the Beta said, calming the pack down.
Now that Fenrir had dealt with the weak ones, he made his way to the nearest Aether City to take the teleporter to the Aether City that Tai was at.
His bond with Tai had grown, despite not being with him for over 6 months and it 'upgraded' their tracker so Fenrir could detect what Aether City Tai was close to since every Aether City gave off a different signal that the system would translate into their numbers.
"Now, come on. We are going to the Aether City. If humans, aliens, or anything attacks us, fight back."
The pack followed Fenrir and it didn't take long before they reached the Aether City, but there was only one problem. The side that they were going to was unfortunately being guarded by a group of UEE soldiers.
"Sir, over there!" the soldier said, pointing at Fenrir and the pack of wolves behind him. "Isn't that a pack of wolves?"
The captain looked to where the soldier pointed and his eyes went wide as he took out his radio to transmit a message to the UEE HQ.
"This is Captain Don at A.C. - 176! Fenrir is approaching the city. What should we do?"
Waiting a few seconds, the radio beeped as it transmitted a message from the HQ.
"Fire at them. Don't let them in the city. The last thing we want him to have is access to technology from the cities."
The captain nodded as he turned to look at his men. "You hear that?! Fire at those stupid wolves! Ain't no wolves going to beat us!"
Raising their guns, the soldiers started firing at Fenrir and his pack.

Fenrir didn't care as a black sheen covered his body and the bullets crushed as they impacted his body and fell to the ground. "Heh, that tickles."
Some of the other wolves weren't as tough as Fenrir, so they didn't have the benefit of simply tanking the bullets that came their way, forcing them to either dodge the bullets, or block them with something.
Some of the bullets that came Fenrir's way went into his mouth, and he simply swallowed them, licking his teeth in response. "I'm bored now. Weren't you humans proud of your little guns?"
Fenrir smirked as black fire appeared in his hands. Making a slashing motion, A wave of black fire came towards the soldiers, killing 4 out of the 10 soldiers guarding the Aether City.
"Fuck this shit! I don't get paid enough for this," one of the guards exclaimed as he went into the Aether City, causing a domino effect that caused one more person to leave and head into the city.
Minus 2 people, there were now only 4 people firing their guns and they were terrified, seeing Fenrir's show of strength.
"Leave it to us, Alpha," a pair of Hunter Wolves said, rushing towards the remaining soldiers and killing them.
When Fenrir approached the corpses of the dead soldiers, he stopped to warn his pack. "Once we enter the city, don't do anything, understand?! Everyone in the Aether City is protected, and by the same token, we are too."
Tai smiled as he stood in front of the restaurant that his mother worked at. Surprising him, the name of the restaurant had changed to 'Luna's Restaurant'. The name was a bit plain, but judging from the name, it meant that his mom now owned the restaurant which he didn't expect.
"If you're wondering if the food is good, it is. I've been eating here every day ever since the world changed and the food is amazing! The price is even affordable for poor people," an old man said to Tai.
Tai smiled at the old man. "I bet the food is good. I wouldn't expect anything less from her."

Makemake
"Makemake—a planet that is found in the far edges of the system known as Sol—was once a metropolis, like all of the other planets that populate the system. Now, like all of the others, it lies as a Sleeping City, forever dormant. No one lives there anymore—it has been vacant for years. In one of the massive cities that used to have a population that was in high numbers a sound could be heard. A distant sound. A beep, or a call, a message—whatever it was, it was an electronic noise. It echoed through the dust cloud filled landscape. The sound went on for a long time. It sat in a sea of quiet; no other noise rolled over the hills and bounced off the ground—only that noise. Only that beep."
