《The Aether Universe》Chapter 44

Judging from what the energy did, Tai figured that the sin that took a liking to him was the Sin of Sloth. Tai knew what the sins were, but in fiction, they were usually very strong, so Tai found it weird how he defeated the monster with minimal effort.
Maybe it depends on the user? Or like all skills, it's dependant on the level. Tai nodded, agreeing with himself
"Uahhh... Monkey kill sloth? How?" one of the monsters asked their kin.
"No worry... We still have two warriors willing to fight," the other replied.
Out of more than 10 warriors that had come to kill Tai, only two stayed. The monster that Tai killed was one of their best, wielding the power of the Seven Deadly Sins. They praised him as god's chosen warrior, but what happens when god's chosen warrior is killed?
Warrior morale falls. What they thought of as an invincible being was killed, and all but two left.
The two monsters left were completely identical and synchronized. They walked at the same pace, standing in front of Tai as he manifested his naginata which he was now free to use.
Tai looked at the two, eager to fight them as he held his naginata up. "Only two, huh?"
The two monsters charged at Tai, one going from behind and trying to catch him off guard. They weren't fighting to win, they were fighting to fight. From a while ago, they knew that they were no match for Tai, but they didn't care. Fighting for them was fun, and from the moment they were born, they were at the top meaning they won every fight with ease. A fight they couldn't win easily was like a gift sent from god for these two even if they would die for it.

As the two charged at Tai, he decided to end the fight fast. It was clear to Tai that even if they were the same level, because of his superior skills, these monsters posed no chance of winning.
Firmly grasping his naginata, he swung it in an area around him, beheading the two monsters instantly.
As their corpses fell to the ground, Tai received a notification but he ignored it as he went on his way to find the portal to the next level, none of the monsters bothering him.
In a circular room with a round table in the middle, 10 beings were sitting around the table, discussing about a certain planet.
Floating above the round table was a hologram of said planet, the planet that Tai was on.
"My Galactic Empire encompasses this planet. It should clearly be mine," a young man that looked like an elf said.
"Bullshit! You and your galactic empire... If I wanted to, I could destroy it with ease," a tall, bulky man with a rocky body said.
"Well, why don't you?"
"Whyy you!" The tall man said standing up from his chair.
"Can we all just calm down? This new mega planet is an important matter. This isn't a normal mega planet..."
The tall man calmed down and sat back down. "Not normal, what do you mean?"
"Please, do tell."
"Obviously we are blocked from entering or affecting the planet, but we can still scan the planet and from what I could scan, this planet has an abundance of Aether."
"Yeah? So? My home planet has the highest Aether ever recorded. It isn't uncommon," a gruff voice said.
"Yes, but this planet has I can guarantee you this, the highest Aether ever recorded. I think the strongest dungeons in the planet could easily have 10 000 levels, and maybe a small percentage of a dungeon with 100 000 levels. Do you know what this means? There has only been one dungeon with 100 000 levels and the items that people looted from it are enough to rival an entire empire."

"This planet is too important for one person. I vote that this planet be carefully observed and watched after the 6 month protection, and that anyone who tries to control this planet be destroyed." a young voice said, sounding like a kid.
A hand went up. "I agree."
"Me too."
8 hands went up agreeing with the vote, with only 2 disagreeing.
"By majority vote, no one is allowed to take over this new planet until we vote again."
In the dungeon, Tai had reached the 25th level and just like what he had hoped for, it was a challenge. Unlike before, he wasn't confident in surviving an attack if a pack of monsters attacked him. Even his strong darkness armor, and his body that was combined with darkness weren't doing good.
His armor was torn up, but it was slowly healing itself. Same with his body, which was a bleeding mess.
Even though he could die at any moment, Tai was smiling as he was covered in blood which was both his and other monster's.
This would be the official start of his 6-month stay in the dungeon.
After 7 days in the dungeon, Tai was now accustomed to his routine. Wake up, hunt, eat, hunt for the portal, sleep, rinse, and repeat.
During the past 7 days, his clothes that he brought had been ripped and shredded and if he wore them, he was practically naked. He didn't mind though as he could use the darkness to make him clothes which was way better anyway.
He was now at the 28th level of the dungeon and was staying at a village there. Since the monsters got stronger as their level increased with each level, it was bound to happen that there would be a monster that was as smart if not smarter than the average human meaning that there were crude civilizations wherever he went.
Tai wondered if these civilizations could leave the dungeon or not, but he didn't really care either way unless they threatened his family.
As half a month passed, Tai was visibly different from when he entered the dungeon. Not only had he bulked up and was covered in lean, compact muscle, but he was also now much taller, and would definitely tower over most people as he was now 7 foot.
Tai's hair was also very long, reaching to his foot. He would cut it every few days, but because of his abnormal regeneration, it would grow back to full length in only a few days.
As he killed the giant monster in front of him, he received a notification that he had been waiting for.
