After reading this, Blake naturally felt like cursing but he was under too much pressure to bother with that. Four years seemed enough given his current cultivation speed but he recently noticed that it takes longer and longer to reach the next level after breaking through. It was only natural as the amount of energy he needed to absorb increased exponentially with every breakthrough.

Blake originally wanted to absorb the rest of the mist he took but now it seemed a bit too risky. He believed that he had a bright future ahead with this ability of his but instead of finding some life lengthening treasure he found a life shortening one...

But looking at it from another perspective, this thing halved his lifespan yet it was still considered a treasure which means that the pros greatly surpass the cons. Hopefully Blake will not regret absorbing the mist in the future as he currently does.

'Anyway, now is not the time to think about this. I need to figure out a way to increase my cultivation speed.' Thought Blake as he shook his head.

After several minutes of pondering he already had a rough sketch of his plan in mind. He would aim for the energy mine and on the way there, he would fight the beasts to further sharpen his beak. When he was previously under pressure because of the rampaging 'kitty', he gained some insight into the image of the golden bird he saw that time.

He figured this out when he felt the murderous aura of that feline beast. He felt that the murderous aura was very similar to the sharp aura in some aspects. He wasn't really sure for now but he felt that it is connected to his soul and will rather than to the energy used for cultivation.

He wanted to know more about this power, he yearned for it even more than for the energy cultivation for some unknown reason but because he didn't know how to get it, he decided to fight more and perhaps he will experience that image again.
