《Transmigrating Upgrade Specialist》Chapter 92 - Wen Yang City (2)

"He's going into the Vault? Then this is my chances to get inside and start robbing them!" Zhang Wu Ji sneaks along with the management member and follows him inside the Vault. Inside here, he stealthily smiled as he looks at the member busy handling the process to change the coding to enter the Vault.
As the process to engrave a new stack of keys to access the vault is ongoing, Zhang Wu Ji took his time to sweep their storage clean. He praised the people handling the tidiness of this Vault deep inside his heart, but at the same time, he thanked them for arranging the item in such a detail manner for him to loot them clean.
What else is better than having the naming tag in every stack of Spatial Stone, Boxes, and Medicinal Jar? Without having trouble to transfer them into his own Wooden Universal Plate, Zhang Wu Ji speed up his robbery process when he noticed that the new sets of keys are almost ready.
He steals about 90% of their precious treasures the moment the Management Member unlock the door once again to go outside. Worrying that he might lose the opportunity to escape, Zhang Wu Ji followed him out from the vault and quickly head straight towards the outer area of the Crystalline Pavilion.
When the Defensive Formation is finally deactivated, Zhang Wu Ji exits their vicinity with the treasures inside of his inventory. But he failed to notice that among the wealth inside his Wooden Universal Plates, one of them contains a hint of Remaining Qi inside.
When the treasure left the Crystalline Pavilion, the Vice Pavilion Master immediately noticed. Smiling in his heart, the Vice Pavilion Master randomly came out with an excuse and left the Crystalline Pavilion in a hurry. As he was a Vice Pavilion Master, nobody dares to question him for going out.
"I wonder how this thief steals the item from the Vault without alarming the others, but no matter how, I must thank you for helping me do most of the difficult work! With your action here, I can blame you as the scapegoat while I keep all the treasure you stolen!" the Vice Pavilion Master followed the remnant of his Soldier Qi and chased the thief.
Although Zhang Wu Ji is pleased with the result, it did not make him lowered his caution. Based on how good is their collection of treasures and the way they protect them, they might possess some underhand technique that allowed them to track the thief.
Which is why he purposely took a long way out from the city and waited there for a while. And the moment the Vice Pavilion Master appeared from the City Wall, Zhang Wu Ji immediately felt an achievement for being cautious on his situation.
"They do have some underhand technique that let them track me! In the future, I must be more careful whenever I tried to rob my victims!" what he worried about gives him an insight in his robbery operation. From how it looks, Zhang Wu Ji becomes more interested in robbing his enemies before killing them instead of eliminating his enemy immediately.
"I know you're around. Come out! I will give you an offer that makes you feel cooperating with me is better than stealing the treasure!" the Vice Pavilion Master speaks. But his manner as he speaks betrayed every single word he said.

"This guy... I wonder if all the people are senseless in this world. Even if you want to lure me out from hiding, at least try to act less aggressive?" Zhang Wu Ji observed his action as he sneaks below some dense foliage. Looking at how the Vice Pavilion Master behaves, Zhang Wu Ji continued to keep him in the watch.
"Are you not coming out? Don't make me take my offer and forced to kill you!" the Vice Pavilion Master warned. But after waiting for a period of time without an answer, he withdrew his weapon out from a Spatial Stone and attacked at the spot where the remaining of his Qi is the most concentrated.
But when the foliages are chopped from the strike, he found nothing waiting for him there.
"It moves again?" the moment he started to sense his Soldier Qi again, the Vice Pavilion Master immediately give him a chase once more. But the further he chases, the weaker is his sense on the escaping Soldier Qi. Thirty minutes later, the hint of Soldier Qi disappeared.
"How can the Soldier Qi I left inside there emptied so fast? That's ten Strands of Soldier Qi inside!" the Vice Pavilion Master is shocked by the amount of Inner Qi it cost for him to track the treasure. But what he did not know is the expenses of Inner Qi is multiplied by a hundredfold due to special circumstances.
First of all, the item is stored in a spatial stone before they're stored in his Wooden Universal Plate. This caused the expenses to allow tracking to be done increases by fiftyfold. And because of the activation of his stealth mode, this forced the multiplication to increase to a hundredfold for it to track.
Still, being able to track Zhang Wu Ji for about forty minutes with his ten Strands of Soldier Qi is counted as quite good. With the hint is gone from his sense, the Vice Pavilion Master is doomed to suffer from disappointment.
Not only he failed to chase the culprit behind this robbery, he even loses his touch with his ten strands of Soldier Qi hidden inside of the treasure. Worst of all, by leaving the premise without a solid reason, it is impossible for the others to feel suspicious of him when he went back.
"Eh? He stopped chasing?" Zhang Wu Ji stopped not too far from the Vice Pavilion Master and returned to see what is wrong with him. When he noticed the sorry expression from his face, Zhang Wu Ji felt like adding some additional salt into his wound.
As he followed the Vice Pavilion Master back to the Crystalline Pavillion, Zhang Wu Ji secretly releases the Night Poison Mist to let him suffer at night. Before they reach the entrance to the Crystalline Pavilion, Zhang Wu Ji separates himself and follow his own way back to the Inn.
"Eh? Why I can't get the Inn we stayed?" Zhang Wu Ji randomly walks around and look for the Inn that he did not try to remember the name. As he randomly walks, Meng Ran appeared from his back and twisted his ear as she pulled him back into the room.

"How can you get lost inside the city? There's name on the damn entrance of the Inn!" Meng Ran scolded him for being too ignorant when it comes to his sense of direction. Honestly, even herself felt that this man cannot be saved when it comes to this weakness.
At that night, the two left with the crippled peddler using the Iron Kong-Que. Using the path across the Seven Star Sect, Zhang Wu Ji went ahead to do it on purpose to see how did the Seven Star Sect do at this moment. Of course, he will purposely go through the entrance area and not near the Knowledge Pagoda.
"Still the same?" Zhang Wu Ji noticed that there aren't too much changed in their building sense. Including his old courtyard, everything is repaired and assigned to those significant figures in Yang Chen Kun's Faction. After he considered demolishing the whole sect and rebuild them in a new manner.
"The previous design of the Seven Star Sect is a complete failure when it comes to my own impression. If my master allows it, we will demolish the whole sect including the foundation. I guess to fit my demand for our expansion, we will have to expand until we control the core location in the middle of this Seven Star County."
"This is an enormous expansion project. To get that done, We will need to start storing at least enough supply to build ten Second Branch." In his opinion, the city like Wen Qing City that holds around 3,500 acres of land is too small to be called as a proper city.
When it was to be compared with the place he came from, the capital in the country itself cover at least four million acres. With his rough estimated guess, the current Seven Star Sect are about 10,000 acres wide, about the size of the Wen Wu, Wen Qing, and Wen Yang City put together.
But when it comes to the total land of the Seven Star County that holds 1 million acres in size, they only utilized less than 3% of their available land. This is why Zhang Wu Ji felt that they're underutilizing the land they own in their county.
"Unless my master stopped me from proposing the changes, we will expand the Seven Star Sect to ten times bigger than now to fit the future disciples, and also develop the four cities to cover over 100,000 Acres like their Seven Star Sect." Zhang Wu Ji calculates the possibility they can expand in the future.
When he reaches the vicinity of the Apprentice Hall Main Headquarter, Zhang Wu Ji left the Iron Kong-Que to Meng Ran's control as he returned to the Herbalist Department and requested for a private room for him to treat the peddler.
The process for him to completely heal the peddler is going on smoothly but two days later, Zhang Wu Ji condition varied.
The final three day's period is here, and this was his final supplement of Fighter Qi! At this moment, Zhang Wu Ji's total Fighter Qi is 1,000 Strands of Fighter Qi! The explosion strength that hides inside his body is all exposed into the open, where 1,000 strands of Fighter Qi is waiting for his next move.
"Oh shit! I'm at the breaking attempt without myself knowing about what to do!" Zhang Wu Ji started to hate himself. Without sufficient knowledge to attempt the breakthrough, how can he succeed?
Randomly trying, he started his attempt to sew a thousand strands of Fighter Qi into a strand of Warrior Qi. It was like trying to knit all the strand in one try to create a strand of Qi that was a thousand time stronger and durable.
Unfortunately, without sufficient experience and knowledge on what to do, Zhang Wu Ji's first attempt failed. His trial to weave a thousand strands together into one suspended, where the backlash immediately took him out of consciousness.
"Plop..." a loud sound of somebody falling down to the ground shook the heart of all physicist inside of their consultation room. In haste, they quickly requested Li Jing to come over and check their master teacher's situation.
"This is the remnants of shattered Fighter Qi! Master Senior is suffering a backlash from failure to advance!" when the curtain is pulled open, Li Jing is shocked by his collapsed master and also the shattered Fighter Qi remaining in the air.
"Physicist! Quickly order the Pill Masters to concoct some Mind Easing Pill! Put aside all their current works if they're too busy. Tell them at this Mind Easing Pill matter comes first!" Li Jing quickly orders the others to move Zhang Wu Ji and the crippled peddler into Zhang Wu Ji's private courtyard.
By leaving Zhang Wu Ji under the care of Zhao Xiao Hua and Liu Yanni, Li Jing and the others took over their master's responsibility while allowing their master to rest. But while they're busy with all these matters, Zhang Wu Ji is inside an unknown space.
Inside this space, he's standing right before a dried tree with on hundred branches. Looking at the hundred limbs of the tree, Zhang Wu Ji noticed ten of them is started to have leaves growing on it, with the remaining ninety is still dried like they're going to break from a little pressure.
"Ten strands of True Qi is lingering in this ten growing branches to promotes the branch's growth!" Looking at the whole tree, Zhang Wu Ji immediately caught the hint that only himself qualified to know about it!
"If the path from a non-cultivator into a cultivator required 100 Stands of Inner Qi, does this means to enter a tier Higher than Qi Branching Tier will need a cultivator to possess 100 strands of True Qi?" Zhang Wu Ji received the enlightenment.
At this moment, a white light surrounded him and blinded his sight.

[Author's Note]
As a rough estimation, the size of their Seven Star County is similar to Brunei in South East Asia, or Trinidad and Tobago.
Alright guys, a question is here again! Do you think, he will advance?

Summoner's Journey
[Before you read - the story is officially dead. The reasons behind it are posted in the last chapter.] In a magic world on the verge of an industrial revolution, Ari Ragnarsson must uncover the truth behind his parents' disappearance. They were part of an organization known as the Order, which protects mankind from various threats - both human and supernatural. Now, after Ari's brands finally manifest, he leaves the safety of his village and travels to the continent. Strength is all that matters in this world and he must learn how to control his powers. There, he meets a man from another world, who's being hunted for merely existing. Their fates become intertwined, but not in a way either of them would appreciate. Author's note (contains minor non-story related spoilers about the MC and setting) This is a progression fantasy with LITRPG elements sprinkled on top. The main character is not a spellsword, but a summoner/support mage hybrid. Since he wasn't ambushed by a random god, there's no cheat item/spell and he has to rely on his skills and wits to survive in a world full of monsters. The story tries to show the moment when the old starts to be replaced by the new, with a healthy dose of magic and a little steampunk in the background. Also, it revolves around a party dynamic akin to RPG sessions. No health/mana bars. Numbers are secondary and the LITRPG elements focus more on classes/spells/runes and their evolutions. Tables are sparse at the beginning, but from chapter 7 onwards they appear more often. Still, I won't be copy-pasting the whole character sheet dozens of times per chapter.

The Summoned - Complete
In a world of magic, ruled by many warring races, the human kingdoms are being pushed to the brink of collapse. In a desperate bid to gain the strength to stand on an equal footing with the other nations, they perform a forbidden ritual to summon combat slaves from another dimension. Unluckily for them, Mors Letus, recently named by their world's God of Death, was one of them. **** Warning **** This is a re-release (The Summoned) of the first book I wrote in partnership with my brother (who later forced the story to be pulled (It was released on his account here)). I have started writing my own version of the story (BOM: The Summoned) and will continue to primarily invest in that, though, now I have permission to re-release this one, I plan finish this as I have the drafts and it was close to the end of the first book. Many characters/scenes and events match/Will match BOM: The Summoned, especially in future arc's (Past Flatner forest). If you don't like spoilers, don't want to get confused between the two stories or hate first attempts at writing (god awful grammar/sentence structure and storytelling), I would advise against reading.

Summoned
“Per aspera ad astra." Death. Mercilessly, it comes for all. But when a young man is given a second chance – a second life – to experience what he never has, what will he do? Leave the burdens of his past behind, improving upon his faults? Or will he collapse back into old sins, wasting the opportunity given to him? Perhaps even he himself does not know. * Join Andre on his journey as he explores a new world – one ripped straight from the pages of a D&D campaign he's never played. He will face monsters. He will face men. And above all, he will face himself. The story’s genre is your standard progression fantasy, isekai: magic, a system, and a level of technology suspiciously underdeveloped. I’ve borrowed tropes from various books I’ve read like “The Second Coming of Gluttony”. The similarities are there (particularly in the beginning), but I assure you the story is my own. It’s in the first-person perspective and has its own quirks, characters, and world for you to become immersed in. The upload schedule for this will be different from the usual fictions on this site: I’ll release chapters in batches rather than so many a week. I’m a college student, so I don’t want another deadline to worry about. Depending on the popularity/demand of the series, I might increase or decrease the rate of releases. Other than that, I hope you enjoy the story! P.S. This is my first fiction so make sure to point out mistakes wherever you see them. I’m doing this, partly, to increase my skill as a writer. However, be kind! I’m fragile, you know? Warning: ***This is far from your happy-go-lucky, feel-good adventure story. There will be content that some of you might not be comfortable with. And if you're already feeling skeptical reading this, click away and don't come back. If you're still here, what are you waiting for?***

A reimagining of history and the world through the point of view of the Devil. The Devil will be based of what I've learned and read about the Devil not going along with a single religion's view on the Devil. The chapters will be around 1000 words, and I will post most days of the week. Please leave a comment to let me know what you like or dislike and how I can improve or how you would like the story to progress.
