First Grade Blueprint - Qiyue Sword (Incomplete)
-Travelling Speed: 40km/h | Fighter Qi Consumption Rate: 16
-Capacity: 3 person | Usage: Transportation only
-Durability: 16/20 | Quality: Mediocre-Grade Incomplete Product
-Information: The Qiyue Sword, Qixue Sword, and Qijie Sword are created by Qi Yuan, a Celestial Designer in Training. Armed with the force to combine three into one, the Qiyue, Qixue, and Qijie can be combined into one single form which further enhances their mobility rate.
"It seems like the quality of the blueprint is just mediocre. Not only that, the ingredient it requires exceeds the basic requirement of a proper flying sword. Although I agree with a few key ingredients, like the 60% above Low-Tier Spirit Grade Iron and Copper Ingots, why do the recipe need ten of each just for the sake of crafting this sword? Only the material itself is going to be a burden to the weapon, not to mention the passenger capacity is only 3 person." Zhang Wu Ji did not give the Blueprint in hand a good comment, but nevertheless, this scroll is the first treasure that comes with a drawn picture for illustration purposes.
"I got the ability to creates the Blueprint, so why don't I try myself? Let me use this one as an example first." Zhang Wu Ji prepared the longer Double Xuan Paper in his stationary shelf and unroll the paper until it matches the length of the former blueprint. He remembered a few of its key detail, and with a dab of his writing brush on the ink, Zhang Wu Ji started his imitation process.
But the moment his tip of the brush touches the surface of the paper, Zhang Wu Ji's Inner Qi is depleting in a high speed with the rate of a thousand Strands for each stroke of drawing. With roughly 222 strands of Fighter Qi, Zhang Wu Ji can finish twenty-two strokes before he exhausted himself from using too much Qi in a short period of time. Although the exhausted Strand of Qi can be rejuvenated by a simple rest, the exhaustion mentally is much more difficult to bear especially from the side effect such as vomiting, headache, and disturbance in five senses.
According to his estimation, It will take him between 300 strokes to reaches the quality similar to the blueprint, and around 550 strokes if he wishes to make this a complete product. Hence, Zhang Wu Ji took the opportunity to rest in between of his progress and only managed to complete the Qiyue Sword Blueprint after spending five days. The end results were a complete satisfaction when he read its overall description.
First Grade Blueprint - Qiyue Sword (Primary Completion)
-Travelling Speed: 55km/h | Fighter Qi Consumption Rate: 10
-Capacity: 3 person | Usage: Transportation only
-Durability: 26/26 | Quality: Mediocre-Grade Complete Blueprint
-Information: The Qiyue Sword, Qixue Sword, and Qijie Sword are created by Qi Yuan, a Celestial Designer in Training. After being perfected by Celestial Designer In Training, Zhang Wu Ji, the Qiyue Sword is now much more agile and required less precious ingredient to craft. Unfortunately, proper changes have to be made in order to combine the Qiyue, Qixue, and Qijie Sword together.
"How about I upgrade the scroll before I follow the production method instruction recorded in the blueprint?" Zhang Wu Ji tests his luck in upgrading the scroll until it reaches the +5 Status. He wanted to made them at least until +7, but based on the number of days he needed to make a copy, it will be better to not do anything recklessly for now.

First Grade Blueprint - Qiyue Sword +5 (Primary Completion)
-Travelling Speed: 60km/h | Fighter Qi Consumption Rate: 10
-Capacity: 3 person | Usage: Transportation only
-Durability: 31/31 | Quality: Mediocre-Grade Complete Blueprint
-Information: The Qiyue Sword, Qixue Sword, and Qijie Sword are created by Qi Yuan, a Celestial Designer in Training. After being perfected by Celestial Designer In Training, Zhang Wu Ji, the Qiyue Sword is now much more agile and required less precious ingredient to craft. Unfortunately, proper changes have to be made in order to combine the Qiyue, Qixue, and Qijie Sword together.
"Oh, only an additional few points in durability and the traveling speed, nothing too much in its changes I guess... Wait!" Zhang Wu Ji almost ends up by assuming that's the quality of this completed Blueprint, but he notices some differences in the kind of ingredient it needed.
(6) 6th Stage Beast Core from any kind of Wild Beast.
(3) High-Quality Crystal of any kinds.
(8) High-Grade Iron Ingots
(2) High-Grade Copper Ingots
"The ingredient it required changed! Not only it can accept any kind of Wild Beast's Core as the ingredients, the requirement of the High- Quality Crystals reduced from 10 to 3, and the total of ingots it required reduced from twenty to ten, and only high-grade products are sufficient enough to create this weapon!" Zhang Wu Ji's possibility to craft this Flying Sword changed from impossible to possible, and from difficult to easy.
"This is good! Not only I can easily craft ten to twenty of this weapon, but I can also even upgrade them so their performance is better than usual crafted products!" Zhang Wu Ji celebrates his success in completing the blueprint and also simplified their crafting process. Although the success rate of crafting this weapon is extremely low, especially due to the fact the people in this continent possess no insight in deciphering drawings, but this wasn't a problem especially to him.
He was a cheater after all, with the ability to succeed in many things, unless he modified them or not following a certain requirement practice. Otherwise, Zhang Wu Ji capability in successfully handling all the materials can reach 100% success rate easily with a smack from his hammer.
Since he possesses all the required ingredients within his Blacksmithing Room, Zhang Wu Ji did not spend much time to prepares his material, except preparing them in a way they reach the minimal requirement to fit to be used as a part of the crafting ingredients. Lifting the hammer up above his head, Zhang Wu Ji lands his first strike at the Primary metal that was to be melted together and forms an alloy similar Bronze, but stronger than Steel.
With the addition of the High-Quality Crystals used during the process to form the alloy similar to Bronze, Zhang Wu Ji understands one simple fact that he did not realize before.
"No wonder the Blacksmithing Technique and abilities has nothing related to the elemental combination within them! Now I understand the differences! The Blacksmithing process is more to using purest form of a material to be made into metal, while for the Celestial Designers, their product is more related to scientific metallurgy, consisting of a combination of over two, three, or maybe four elements to create a new material."
"Of course, this doesn't mean that the Celestial Designer is better nor the Blacksmith is weaker. Their profession is still related to metal, only their procedures and main focus in their end results were different." Zhang Wu Ji understands this simple fact. Being a person that came from a much more modern world previously, Zhang Wu Ji is no stranger to high-quality alloys such as Steel, Bronze, and Coloured Gold such as Rose Gold or White Gold. Living in that world, he was exposed to the fact how strong an alloy could be when it was mixed with a few different elements.

But living in this world for over half a year now, Zhang Wu Ji was exposed to another fact. Does this mean Combined Alloy is stronger? The answer was a "No". As a blacksmith himself, Zhang Wu Ji was again exposed to the fact pure metal, such as the Iron and the gemstones. Few times in his experience, he was given the opportunity to understand how different is the durability carried by the pure metal compared to impure metals.
As his mind continues to flow in those thoughts, Zhang Wu Ji's body maintains his action and poured the content of the Bronze Alloy into a cast, which was made into the shape of a sword. Because the Alloy maintains a part of the copper's malleability, Zhang Wu Ji further his tempering on this weapon, to see at what extent can this sword get when it was completed.
About two hours later, a sword with an appearance of a rhombus Blade and a two-palms thick handle is created from the cast. With the Central Ridge is thicker than a normal broadsword, Zhang Wu Ji followed the design he personally modified to craft the Flying Sword. Only after putting another two hours of effort Zhang Wu Ji's completed the sword. Now, only one more steps are required to be completed, which is the assimilation between the six Beast Cores and the sword.
Level 6 Beast Core (Charcoal Hound)
-Usage: Increases the strands of Fighter Qi by 3 strands (Applicable only to those within Fighter Stage), Assimilation process took fifteen hours to complete.
-Durability: 15/15
-Information: A Cultivated Core that reaches their sixth stage before it was extracted from the core of a Charcoal Hound. The Beast Core are usable in many different ways such as for aiding in cultivation, Pill Concoction, and sometimes for Crafting Purposes. Because the Beast Core is formed by the dense amount of Natural Energy, their usage remains the same no matter how they were processed.
According to the description from the blueprint, he will need to prepare a mallet made from wood to hammers the powder grounded from the Beast Core for it to seeps into the Qiyue Sword. This was the Celestial Designers technique that used to increase the possibility of the essence from Beast Core to seeps into the tool they're creating. Because the mixture alloys are nothing extremely pure (Only Pure Metal Made tool are qualified to house a spirit, and yeah that's far from this arc), this caused the quality of the weapon needed to be enhanced by a catalyst.
And in this case, the Level 6 Beast Core of Charcoal Hounds will be the best available catalyst, as a stronger catalyst may destroy the weapon, and weaker catalyst may ruin the final results. Using the Mallet, Zhang Wu Ji hammered the surface of the Flying Sword evenly without over-exerting his force to prevent himself from making an obvious dent on the Qiyue Sword.
Finally, after a few hours of effort, Zhang Wu Ji completed his first Flying Sword. Although the speed it can go is barely 60km/Hour, it was acceptably faster than a normal traveling horse can go. Most importantly, the cost of using this Flying Sword was only ten strands of Fighter Qi, which is considered a very cheap payment to activates the sword for the one-hour flying trip. Plus, it is impossible for a horse to run at full speed for one hour without rest. Else, why would it take one full day for a normal person to travel from one village to another?
First-Grade Qiyue Flying Sword
-Travelling Speed: 60km/h | Fighter Qi Consumption Rate: 10
-Capacity: 3 person | Usage: Transportation only
-Durability: 26/26 | Quality: First-Grade
-Information: A flying sword refined by Celestial Designer in Training, Zhang Wu Ji. Because the weapon is final-tempered with Sixth Level Beast Core, the Qiyue Flying Sword obtained the effect of enhancing stability and reduces of Motion Sickness during traveling.
"Not bad! Not bad at all!" Zhang Wu Ji happily praised the end product and the result as he took the Qiyue Flying Sword out from the blacksmithing room and activated the sword ordinarily. With the sword is floating in the air under his control, Zhang Wu Ji pilots the Flying Sword and fly upwards until he was between the 6th to 7th feet above the air. First time floating on the sky all by his own, Zhang Wu Ji enjoyed the feeling of a Cultivator that can fly in the sky, like the person he met when he just transmigrated into this world.
"Let me see how fast can we get to the Wen Wu City's Apprentice Hall!" Zhang Wu Ji controlled the sword as he flies through the horizon, heading straight towards the direction of the Wen Wu City. Flying without a guide nor a compass, Zhang Wu Ji first flight was a failure as he accidentally reaches the Tea House instead of the Wen Wu City.
"No!" Zhang Wu Ji cried out loud. It was a wonderful thing that he can fly, and can even craft the Flying Sword from his own effort. But he was struck by his inability to discern directions! This was always the bane to his progress, especially when he was still back in his previous world, where he will lose his way if he did not get the assistance from the Online Map.
Failed to match with his own expectation, Zhang Wu Ji returned to the Seven Star Sect.
But his return was accepted wildly by the disciples and elders of the sect, because now, except the Headmaster and Seventh Floor Pagoda Elder, Zhang Wu Ji is the third person possessing a Flying Sword! How surprising would that be, especially when the Seventh Floor Pagoda Elder's Flying Sword is purchased from the Mystic Engineer Establishment for his life-saving of 300,000 Qi Sensing Pills or 300 Million Gold Coins?
As for the headmaster, it was said that he was lucky to encounter a Celestial Designer that kind enough to craft a Flying Sword for his personal usage. If the Seven Star Sect were to have their own Celestial Designer, where will they stand after the gathering? Even the top five Counties in the Upper South State does not have the privileges to ride Flying swords as they wish!
The commotion generates a disturbance until it reaches the ears to the people within the Reflection Pagoda.
Still injured, Liang Tian's condition is barely better than before. It was lucky that his beloved wife is an avid collector of high-tier Medicinal Pills, thus, it allows her to slowly maintain her husband's health from allowing it to deteriorate. With the commotion outside spreads their way into the pagoda, Zhang Wu Ji's Master Mother questioned the loyal attendants for both factions about what happened outside.
Keeping the demeanor of an Inner Qi Lord when the attendants came in to report, the Master Mother took a cup of tea and fed it to the headmaster before she took a sip as well. The attendant that just come in immediately reported;
"Headmistress, it seems that the Master Senior Ninth just went out and come back with a Flying Sword. Because it was ridden by a Master Senior, the crowd thinks that Master Senior Ninth is either obtained that from headmaster or he crafted it himself." the attendant reported, and the moment the two heard the report, they both spit the mouthful of tea out from their mouth because of shock.
Even someone as sick as Liang Tian was surprised by the report.
"That brat actually crafted the Flying Sword even with the difficulties to obtain those ingredients? Where did his talent and luck come from? Even If I hunt personally inside the Southern Bamboo Forest, I doubt my results of finding the 9th Stage Inner Qi Fighter Beast!" his master mother was the one with the most surprising because she wasn't confident with Zhang Wu Ji's ability.
But the truth speaks for him, and unknowingly gives a slap to his Master Mother without any intention at all.
"Does this means..."
"This brat knows that the ring I give him, is the Precious Onyx-Class Spatial Ring too?" his Master Mother remembered that during the time she gave him the ring, she did not mention anything about the information related to the ring. If this disciple actually knows how precious is the treasure, what will he do with it?
Back into Zhang Wu Ji's situation.
After his appearance of flying on top of a Flying Sword is discovered by the members of the sect, his courtyard's main door was banged nonstop by the disciples, all filled with the eagerness to try flying on top of the Flying Sword. Since the Seventh Floor Pagoda Elder and Headmaster are impossible to accept this request, they can only thicken their face to ask from Zhang Wu Ji directly. Worst of all, even the elders are queuing up for the chances to ride on top of it.
"Fellow Disciples, In another twelve days, the Upper South Counties Gathering will begin. I hope I am given the opportunity to cultivate at peace and bring back the glory to the sect. I promise, after the gathering is over, I will give each of you a satisfactory answer on what happened today." Zhang Wu Ji calms the crowd located outside of his courtyard. Afraid that they will spoil their once in a lifetime chances to ride on a flying sword, the crowd obediently listens to his words and left after cupping their hand to excuse themselves.
Finally got quiet and peaceful surrounding his courtyard, Zhang Wu Ji instructed Tang Yuan to bring him some breakfast in the next morning, while he rushed the crafting process for the remaining ten swords. With ten of the disciples riding their own Flying Swords, Zhang Wu Ji especially prepares one extra for his master mother as well, because it is sure that she will accompany the ten of them as they went to the Heavenly Sword Sect.
It was a county holding the fifth spot amongst the ten counties in the Upper South Stage, so how can the Seven Star Sect enter their sect without bringing a hint of jealousy into their heart? Additionally, with the existence of the Flying Sword now, their trip to the Heavenly South County is shortened to at least half, which means they only need five days of relaxing travel to reach their destination.
Two days later, ten visitors made their visit at his humble courtyard, where Tang Yuan immediately received all of them as he escorted the guest into the garden, there, Tang Yuan excused himself to notified his master, who still shelling himself inside the Blacksmithing Room to craft the swords.
With an estimated four hours for every piece of the Qiyue Flying Sword, he still needed fifty hours to completes the ten swords. Luckily, the group wasn't in a rush, thus they came slightly later, only to noticed that the youngest disciple was still in his Blacksmithing Room and not ready to leave yet.
As usual, he's the last one to notice the time limit. Unknown that everyone is waiting for him outside, Zhang Wu Ji screamed.
"It's Complete!"

Dungeon Scholar
Girl meets dungeon. What could go right? A story of a good-hearted Scholar driven by her compassion and curiosity. She might be a little combat averse, but um, isn't that only logical? Love me a good grimdark, but sometimes I want to read feel-good fiction that isn't pure action, romance, or comedy. The plot and characters of Dungeon Scholar won't be all happy and fluffy, and the world will be more dungeons and monsters than rainbows and puppies, but overall the sweet moments should overshadow the bitter. Let's say three dollops of sugar for every pinch of salt, with lemon slices left on the saucers? Enjoy. Note: This is NOT a typical dungeon story. If you are here for the dungeon aspect, then fair warning this will seem incredibly slow-burn to you. The dungeon will eventually become the most important 'character,' arguably, or the second-most important narratively, but you might jump out the window in frustration long before that happens. At its heart, the story's core remains 'girl meets dungeon,' not 'dungeon meets world.' (To be clear, this does or will have a plot! It's just the more conventional story-like elements contribute to Rowena Loress's greater story, not the other way around; no conflict takes center stage until it becomes personally significant to her. Meanwhile, have some Slice of Life.) Updates every Friday Cover made using Waifulabs Written using 4thewords (referral code: UZJRY55368)

Saga of the Jewels VOLUME ONE COMPLETE
Prefer to listen to rather than read Saga of the Jewels? I'm also releasing it as a free audibook serial podcast on iTunes here! Epic YA JRPG-influenced GameLit progression ensemble-cast steampunk romance fantasy! When Ryn’s hometown is destroyed, will he be able to gather together the twelve Primeval Jewels in order to defeat the evil Emperor and save the world of Mid? A fan novelization of an amazing Final Fantasy game that doesn’t actually exist, that currently releases at least one chapter a month. Epic in that this will be very long. “It’s a marathon, not a sprint!” (-Kandaj) YA in that this should be enjoyable to~13-year-olds and upwards. Some gore, some swearing, some sex, but nothing more than PG-13. JRPG-influenced / GameLit in that it uses lots of JRPG tropes, particularly from Final Fantasy. I’ve read a lot of fan Final Fantasy novelisations and you can basically think of this as a fan novelisation of its own Final Fantasy game that doesn’t actually exist as a game... Progression in that the characters level up over time (though not with visible litrpg stat boxes). They grow in ability through training and experience, gain new skills, individually and as a party (think Chrono Trigger) and spend time discussing and stratgeising about how to defeat their opponents. Main protagonist from book three would definitely be able to defeat himself from book one! Ensemble-cast because we've got quite the roster of misfits here. The first volume is all from the main protagonist's POV, but it starts dancing between his and different POVs thereafter. Steampunk in that we’ve also got airships, steam trains, pistols and ambiguous ‘amber bars’ that function a bit like artificial lights… Romance in that there is lots of shipping here, a few love triangles, and you may be kept guessing as to who will actually end up together... Fantasy in that we’re in a vaguely pre-modern setting. We’ve got swords, magic, dragons, dungeons, monsters, all that good stuff. * "This story captures that Final Fantasy quality perfectly. Kiddy but also grim. The characters are great... Severely underrated and needs more favorites/follows. I look forward to seeing how this story will unfold." -Gilgamesh9999 "Starting at the end and jumping backwards is not a writing style seen every day. I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical at first, but you've executed a fairly crazy idea very skillfully so far. Overall, a strong start to what could be a very strong story." -RandomFF.netUser "You definitely have my interest piqued. It'll be interesting to see where the story goes... It definitely has an 'old school Final Fantasy' type feel to it, which I appreciate...Good job! I am glad you are going into more details about the story you laid out in the prologue...of course the big burning question is 'You know they lose in the the first chapter, so how will they end up winning?' That of course, is the story you're writing...so we'll see how it goes! #Following." -KyleQuicksilver (quotes are from reviews on other sites) * If you enjoy it, don’t forget to boost Saga of the Jewels on topwebfiction.com!
