Chapter 0136
“Watch where you are going you damn idiot! Are those eyes decoration or are you blind? Do you know how much this dress cost? I can sell you into slavery, and I wouldn’t even recoup my losses.” A young girl around 14 or 15 years old, dressed in an expensive looking fiery red dress heaped a barrage of derogatory remarks on to Yu Li Ming.
“You’re the one who has decorations for eyes. Everyone could tell you are seeking me out to find trouble. You bumped into me deliverable, and the mess on your dress was from the food you were holding. And I should toss your words back to you. Do you know much my robes cost?” Yu Li Ming, unlike a certain red who went on a sexual harassment spree, has a sense of proprieties. She knew to keep a certain distance between her and strangers lest she be taken advantage of.
The Eastern Gate might have been crowded previously but the numbers thinned considerably as groups leave one after another. There was plenty of space for people to walk around without bumping into each other.
The young girl in red wants to make trouble for Yu Li Ming. Yu Li Ming was not clumsy. Neither was the girl in red. She was able to deftly sidestep a few mages who got in her way only to fall when she was near Yu Li Ming. The mess on her dress was from the wine she was carrying. If Yu Li Ming was less sensitive to the intents of other and didn’t move back in time then the wine would have spilled on her dress instead.
Anyone with eyes could tell she was causing trouble.
“You dare deny you cause all of this.” The girl in red accused in outrage. It was obvious she was raised a pampered rich woman who is used to getting what she wants.
“Why wouldn’t I? Everyone here can be my witness. You came straight for me with ill intent. Any strong mage can feel it. Next time, learn how to hide your motives better.”

“Damn slut. I’ll teach you the lesson your mother never did.” The girl yelled before attacking Yu Li Ming with her whip, a grade two weapon made out of Brilliant Gold, a strong yet flexible common ore.
Yu Li Ming brought out her long sword and blocked the whip before slipping through her opponent’s defenses and slapping her with her free hand. The girl in red was sent flying. Before she about to land ignominiously on the ground, a man in a fiery red robe caught her.
After setting the girl on her feet, he turned to confront Yu Li Ming. “Yu Li Ming, you shameless little slut. You’re already annoying enough when you pester me for my attention. Now you try to attack the members of my group. Who do you think you are?”
“Big brother Lei Mo, don’t be to harsh on your fiancee. Women do strange things out of jealousy. She’s only acting out of love. Ease your anger please. The slap didn’t harm me at all.” The girl in red immediately put on a pure white lotus act for Lei Mo’s benefit.
“Ashley, you don’t need to defend her. I know her character very well. Instead, tend to your face. It is all red. Here, I have a cream that would reduce the swelling in no time.” Lei Mo handed her a cream for the hand print courtesy of Yu Li Ming. “What do you have to say for yourself you vicious woman?”
“Please forgive her big brother Lei Mo. Someone as outstanding as you are bound to have admirers. She’s concern I’d snatch you away when she confronted me previously.” Ashley sounded like she was helping Yu Li Ming, but painted her as a vicious shrew.
Throughout this two person play, Yu Li Ming did look like the jealous wife confronting the mistress. Those who knew better, which was everyone aside from the two people in the play because cultivating as a mage takes talent, luck and well as brains, made a note not to associate with two actors. One is a scheming woman who wouldn’t hesitate to betray them for her own purposes and the other is an ignorant hot head who would likely get them killed if they end up working together.

As for Yu Li Ming, they’d wait until more information is revealed. Cultivating is boring. When free entertainment presents itself, many chose to enjoy the show.
Yu Li Ming stared at the adulterous couple with shock. She didn’t understand what Lei Mo meant. It was the Lei clan who asked her to accompany their son to the Magus Alliance as his fiancee and do her duty by correcting his immoral behavior as well as preventing loose women from approaching him. She did her best to fulfill her obligation the her future-in-law, yet she was met with annoyance and scorn.
Fear course through her body as her mind began to run the different scenarios based on the Lei Mo’s actions. She immediately squashed the fear with a hard stomp of reassurance. Her uncle also accompanied them to the Magus Alliance. Surly he wouldn’t lie to her and Lei Mo misunderstood the situation entirely.
“I..I didn’t-”
“Still arguing! Get lost.” Lei Mo ordered the nuisance away.
“Please let me explain.” Yu Li Ming beseeched. Her misunderstood expression coupled with her tear glisten black eyes and weak demeanor evoke the desire to protect in the males watching the show.
Her reaction made Lei Mo angrier as he already labelled her as a scheming woman who uses her womanly wiles to get her ways. “Get lost!”
“I’d say, the couple putting on a show for us, do you even realize how trite and repetitive your dialogue is? Watching plant grow is more entertaining than watching this sham.”
“Fenix, you are giving them too much credit. What play? What show? It’s obvious the whole thing is a set up and the man is stupid enough to fall for her ploy.”
Fenix looked at Lei Mo and Ashley speculatively before asking, “How is it worse than putting on a play?”
“Those who put on a play merely act the roles they are given. They are no worse than puppets in the hand of the story writer but they get paid for their time. This display shows their stupidity and ignorance to the world. Get it?”
“Not really.”
“Outsiders should stay out of this.” Lei Mo and Ashley was angered by the two interferences but they are level headed enough not to lash out. This is the Magus Alliance, not their territory.
“As far as I can tell, this whole show consists of outsiders interfering with each other. There is no reason for us not to interfere. You aren’t related to either Yu Li Ming or that girl.” Tempest squinted her eyes trying to act like she a buyer examining the goods. She doesn’t do a good job showing her disdain or arrogance towards the duo, but she gets her point across.
“Yu Li Ming is my fiancee’s sister and Ashley is my partner.”
“So your not related. Strangers.” Tempest said contemptuously before noticing Yu Li Ming visibly paling under Lei Mo’s words. She signaled Fenix to take Yu Li Ming back to the group and leave the two idiots to her.
Fenix understood the message and forcibly grabbed the weak Yu Li Ming and pulled her away.
“You know nothing of our situation.”
“Of course I don’t.” Tempest agreed with Lei Mo, “As you don’t know anything about Yu Li Ming’s situation before you verbally attacked her. I suggest you do a proper investigation before opening your dog mouth again.”
“Who are you to Yu Li Ming, intervening on her behalf?
“I am her partner. Remember this, she isn’t a girl you can jerk around at your convenience anymore.” Tempest gave the warning before she walked away from the duo.

Stolen by the System
Lost. Vulnerable. Alone. What would you sacrifice to get home? Kidnapped on the cusp of graduation, Jake is dumped into a deadly world of levels and magic. His dreams shattered again, he’s left with a choice: fight or die – and Death won’t let him go that easily. A savage wolf, a horrific secret, and an abhorrent quest make day one the second worst day of his life. Whatever bastard is pulling the strings is due one hell of a reckoning. On the plus side, there’s magic, and Jake’s got the stats to master it. Spells not included, but, hey, creating spells and programming are basically the same thing, right? At least Spellcrafting is slightly less suicidal than trying to stop the encroaching dungeon spawn threat. Because why wouldn’t there be an apocalypse in progress. All the more reason to find his way back fast. Unfortunately, the path home leads right into the heart of danger. Fighting monsters, dungeon delving, solving puzzles – whatever it takes, Jake is finding his way home. He’ll need allies. Powerful allies, like a trainee ranger who struggles to find her hairbrush. Pointy ears, executive dysfunction, and a perilously gutsy moral compass – what more could one want in a Companion? Alas, beggars can’t be choosers. He needs every edge he can get. Going home means finishing his quest. That quest. The quest that doesn’t deserve completion. Save your father, save the world. Update Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Friday. Temporarily ad hoc.

The Dawnfire Archives
It begins in the endless wastes, with an unknown man arriving at the bottom of the tallest mountain in existence. A mysterious voice provides few directions, bringing more questions than answers. Regardless, after choosing a name and weapon... the man begins to climb. He will not be alone on this journey. A young individual from a different reality has also made his way to The Climb. But what does their arrival bode for the people of this world? And where does climbing the mountain truly lead? This is my second novel on Royal Road, the first being "Beyond the Horizon's Eye", and the third being "The Card Thief of Culnivar". This story is much more GameLIT than Xianxia, and takes place in a different setting with an entirely new cast of characters. It does, however, contain several ties between the stories. Average post between 1000 - 3000 words.

What seems like an innocent game trope turns into a nightmare. This is a story of tragedy and the path to ultimate power. All in the hopes of an uncertain survival. _________ This fiction has NOT been abandoned. I made a haughty promise earlier to not worry because I'll continue this series, and with things lately, I've only proved myself a liar. Further promises dwindled, and I've lost trust. So many things have been going on recently that I've been booked. I will refrain from making any future guarantees or promises as my busy schedule will stay with me for a long long while. Time for me to actually spend on writing and revising won't appear until at the least November 19. I won't say expect that's when I'll restart, but you can expect expecting it to maybe happen. That's really shallow. But with everything going on, I've let my small reading base down. I apologize. I still stick by my statement though that I won't abandon this project. I plan to stick it to the end, no matter the delay. Most importantly, thank you everyone; readers who both like and dislike my work. I appreciate your time spent on my dumb imagination. Stay toasty my readers in this winter season. Cheers. UPDATE: We're back on track. Thank you for your patience. Any future readers, heyo! Glad you're here. UPDATE 2: So far it's been 21 days since I last uploaded a chapter. The best thing done for any fiction, no matter how good it is, is that it continues, and I have a bad history with that. 1 fiction on hiatus and already more delays with less than 20 chapters in this fiction. I've been very preoccupied with adding more things to do in my life rather than actually committing to any particular thing. That applies primarily to this. I cannot abandon this, as busy as my future looks and will look as I get busier and busier. Someday, I hope, I will be able to sit down and just write. just. write. But for now, I ask for patience. I suppose I'm glad this fiction hasn't picked up so that I don't disappoint too many people if any really. But I need to commit and it's going to happen sometime and sometime soon. No more flowery words. I'll see you later. UPDATE 3: It's very evident I won't be able to pick up this story for a while. With AP Testing, competitions, and other things I am busier than ever. But I must complete this fiction. I have too. Until next time. UPDATE 4: It is now the summer. I owe everyone an apology. Chances are, nobody's around to see this, and that is okay. I only blame myself for this sort of brokenness of a fiction, not that it is actually that bad but I am just exaggerating it for dramatic effect. But what's not exaggerated is the severity of my broken promise. I apologize for my naive claims about finishing a novel that I couldn't finish and that I didn't have the discipline to finish. Nor the skills, really, I was and am still an immature writer. What is to place now? I want to make it clear I understand this is my fault. I will man up to this. And I will accept any criticism. I understand I messed up. Reading Stephen King's On Writing made it clear to me that I need to do two things:Read lots. And write lots.I have done neither. If I don't have the time to read often, how do I expect to write? I need to become more experienced. I need to become a serious writer. So if I want to dream of continuing, I need to at least fulfill both requirements. I enjoy writing. I haven't written seriously outside of school in a while. I planned to write this summer and finish this. I made a lot of promises that I didn't keep.So there's that. I won't enact any self-pity, or be foolishly obsessed. What I did was wrong, and I must deal with it. I let down readers. And I apologize.I hope I can find forgiveness. This is a writer's sin.I won't promise I'll finish this. I intend to finish this, at some point, because writing is fun and I want to write. But how things are don't reflect that. Maybe I'll finish this at some point. Maybe I won't. I won't be naive to make that promise.I thank everyone who has read this if this is the end. If not, and hopefully not, I thank everyone who is to read future chapters. I thank everyone who allowed me to live in the miniscule little dream of mine as I passed my days. I thank everyone who cares enough to read this. Until next time, peace everyone. Thank you. You are all great readers and great people. I wish everyone the best in whatever reading/writing endeavors follow you henceforth.

A Tyrant: Unshackled
A man once lived in a modern world, surrounded by the tragedy of humans, he was despaired. He did his best to ignore it. Did his best to hide in the safety of his own circumstances. But eventually the tragedy reached him. And when it did... it left a broken man, who was tired of the world and it's circumstances. He took things into his own hands. He would change the world. But this story isn't about that. For after all was done, the man dying peacefully on his own terms, he would have a new life ahead of him. Now unbound by attatchments and responsibility, in a completely new world for him to explore, he would make sure his new life didn't end up like the last one. This fiction won't be updated regularly due to my own circumstances and while I will try to update it often, I won't always be able to. That being said I hope you enjoy this little work of mine. I'm not an experienced, and don't consider myself a good author in any way. But hopefully some people will enjoy this fiction like I do writing it, regardless of that.

Losing a friend was hard, but him returning as a ghost possessing another friend just to become the green ninja was something Y/n did not expect at all. --------------------- Takes place in season 5.- Morro × Reader (female). - There are many yeets in this book. IMPORTANT NOTE!! - This is an old fanfic and it's not even edited or outlined, so don't take it seriously. - It might be cringy, so read at your own risk. - Also, it was meant to be more on the comedy side than have an actual plot. So don't take it too seriously. Note: I do not own Ninjago or any characters in the story except Anima and Y/n's dragon's name.
