《The Immortal》180: Briefing

As the morning approached, Dixy spoke of a particular subject.
“You would either have to move a bit away or I will have to shut myself down.” She said. I was a bit confused, until I remembered that she was interfering with the dungeon.
“I’ll move a bit away, just tell me when it is good.” A curious thought popped into my head. “What’s it like, shutting down?”
“Ueh? Eh… Nothing? There’s just… nothing.” I am a bit skeptical.
“Then how do you start up again, so to speak?”
“Eh? Ah, I… It… I don’t actually really know.” I feel like it is more a case of not wanting to answer, rather than not knowing.
“If you don’t want to tell me, you can just say you won’t tell me… If you mess this badly up when lying, even I will be able to tell… And it just serves for me to trust you less.” I make my thoughts clear.
“Right… Sorry, only thing I can say is that cutting off the divine power will not allow me to really exist for a period of time.”
“Divine power? That’s what makes monster disappear?” I had assumed the dungeon stopped working because God used its power to make me the gifts… But maybe it is just appearing, that make it so.
“Right. I exist due to divine power, though it is a fraction of a fraction of what God has available. If I have to allow the dungeon to function normally, I will have to shut off in time for the divine power present to disspate.”
“Is it alright to tell me something like this?”
“Should be fine… I’ll just judge what I can and can’t tell you from moment to moment.” Seems I might get a bit more information out of the Dixy as time goes on. Strange, how I feel we are closer now, since what started this whole thing was a fight.

When morning came, I packed Dixy away and headed towards the inn. Big Mother was sweeping the place, as I entered. She looked at me fiercely.
“Was she okay being neglected for two weeks?” She asked.
“She was pretty mad, but we recon…. Wait, what?” How did Big Mother know about Dixy?
“So you really had another girl, even with the cute Yasia waiting to marry you… You are scum, you know that? I want you out of my inn!” She is really pissed.
“It isn’t what you think… Yasia knows about it too…” I try to defend myself but she is waving the broom around almost as if trying to threaten me.
“Don’t care! Get your stuff and get out!” The shouting was loud and soon her husband, the inn owner appeared.
“Honey! What are you doing? That’s a 1st ranker, you know!?” He tried to calm her down.
“As if I care! That little girl is completely devoted to him and he runs around with other women at night! He is scum and should be treated as such!”
“It’s completely her misunderstanding.” I tried to tell him, but they were already arguing. I went past them to get Kassa and Patir and go check out the special request at the guild.
“Be sure to remove your stuff! You’re not staying here another night!” Big Mother screams at me from the back. Sheez, I could have done without that. I get Kassa and Patir and tell Yasia we might come back soon, as we head towards the Loffreq.
“Why are your clothes so dirty?” Patir asks me. Right, I crashed into the ground yesterday.
“Don’t worry about, just getting the handle on some new magic.”
“That makes me worry about it.” Patir says while smiling nerviously.

In the Loffreq I see that the request board is still pretty sparse. I also catch quite a few mean look from the other officers. We line up and when we reach the receptionist, whose an older man this time around, we inform him of our business. We get escorted to a room in the back, where after a few minutes, the lady who has been helping me the most around here shows up again. I wonder if it is rude I don’t know her name yet.
“Right, ask away about the request and I will tell you what I can, without you confirming you will do it.” She starts.
“Where are we headed? Who are we escorting?” Patir starts, but the lady shakes her head.
“You will only know that if you accept.”
“Then, can you at least tell me if we will be closer to the capital, and if it is a one-way trip or both ways?”
“It is a one-way trip, and everywhere in the republic is closer to the capital than this town.”
“What’s the pay?”
“30,000 pekos” A huge amount is given, but I guess it is only fair due to the massive commitment. Patir nods a little.
“When will we be leaving?”
“I can only say that if you accept today, it will be within a week.”
“Will we be all of the escorts or will there be more?”
“Two of the best people in the guild will be joining.” Patir seems to think on it for a good while. A minute or two in silence is elapsed before he proclaims.
“We’ll do it!” Hey! Aren’t you supposed to ask the rest of us at least? Well, I don’t really have a problem with it, so I will let it slide.
The lady gains a smile and starts explaining.
“You will be escorting a person, who wishes to keep his identity hidden. You are not to investigate or ask him about anything during the course of the trip. You will also be escorting a massive amount of coin.” She explains.
“When would you be ready to leave?” she asks.
“We could do it today.” I say, not wanting Patir to hog all of the conversation. It startled the lady a little that I suddenly spoke and Patir looks at me a little annoyed.
“Well, we can’t do today, as our client asked for a certain period of warning. But tomorrow night, after the sun has gone down, you are to meet up here at the loffreq, all right?”
“All right!” Patir says with no pause. Guess he wanted the last word.

Transformed into a vampire Loli
The girl in the mirror is so perfect. She looks like a doll, her complexion is pale, her delicate nose is small and fluffy and her mouth is slightly bent to see her sharp teeth. A pair of beautiful red eyes are crystal clear, combined with short, fluffy silver white hair, is even more impressive. "Luna, I am so beautiful" The girl said extremely narcissistic words in a melancholic tone. Yuri story. (*๓´╰╯`๓)❤❤(๓´╰╯`๓*)

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.

Lear County Outlook
Based on true events in my life. Think of these stories as H P Lovecraft meets Rob Zombie. Each story has pieces, confessions, from the rural decay of Appalachia wrapped in horror and madness. All are set in the fictional county of Lear, which is a dark mirror held up to surface, idealized countryside. Blood and familial ties bind deep in a hopeless and rotted south. Tales are whispered of Hill Witches and Demons. Shunned communities molder. All these truths are hidden in the stories of deceit and lies. The first arc revolves around theft and exploitation at one of the last factories of Lear County. Abuse of power draws all down the path of madness.

White room : The Reaction
The students of Advance Nurturing High school are suddenly teleported into an unknown location, sort of like a theater, where they see an unknown person in front of them ,the unknown person opened her mouth and said "Hello everyone,as you can see, I have brought you here today to react on a place that almost none of you know".Disclaimer - I do not own anything here except the idea and the all powerful mysterious person who teleported them. Credit goes to Shogo Kinugasa, the author of "classroom of the elite"Warning - This is my very first fanfic. I wrote this with little to no experience about writing so please mind the quality. It is rushed and contains many grammer or spelling mistakes. Read at your own risk...
