《Yet another ”reincarnated as a monster” story, however, this time, it’s a carnivorous plant》Chapter 31: The Art of Humanization

The white changed. It never changed from the blinding snow white colour it had, but it shifted. It was like looking at a sky filled with white clouds.
Time passed on. I wanted to stop trying, to stop straining my eyes to see the clouds, but the words haunted me like the ghosts of the past.
And so, i kept my focus. Even as the clouds drew distant and even as the hours rolled on in what felt like a vortex of time and space, i never stopped to blink.
The clouds rolled, the clouds swirled, the clouds parted, the clouds flooded my vision.
White, white, white...
All was white.
And then it wasnt.
The clouds parted, and all was pink.
Rays of pink light streamed through the clouds and danced upon my eyes like fairies.
I smiled with my lips.
I grapsed the light in my hands.
I closed my eyes and felt the light penetrate my eyelids.
I was human.

Right.
And so i did.
The light blinded my eyes, my TWO eyes, and i brough my hand up to shield them from the stinging rays.
What i saw was white.
It wasnt as white as those clouds, but it was most definately white. Along the arm were faint, pink dots.
There was no hand. Instead, the arm ended in a flower which seemed to be like the sleeve of a dress. It sparkled brilliently in the faint light of the Guild.
Inside the sleeve i could find long, slender strings which resembled a hand. I recognized them as the small stemlike growths which could be found within flowers, the ones which were coated with pollen. I could only assume this to be used as a hand.
I let my eyes follow the arm up and to my body.
My body was slender and white, with pink dots strewn about in a strange pattern.
The body was like that of a young girl, with the hint of what could someday become breasts. Other then that, there were no hints of a gender. i looked down to see my legs, only to be greeted with the inside of a flower.
The flower part started where my legs should have been.
I quickly moved my sight from my eyes to my eye.
My root slitered through the air and i got a sense of where i was.
I saw myself.
It was small, no bigger then the flower which covered its lower body. It was as white as snow, with small pink dots. The body was that of a young girl, no older then six or seven.
The head was strange.
It was completely unhuman.
Instead of eyes, it had large, pink globes upon which the light danced.
Its lips were a bright reddish-pink which i recognized as the same lips which had adorned my flower. Upon its head were a crown made of what i could see as roots of the same colour as the eyes.

Around the head was a large flower, like the collar of a noble.
On its back, four wings floated almost independantly.
It looked like a pixie, or a fairy.
Was this... Me?
I moved an arm, and the pixie moved its arm. I touched my head, and it touched its head.
I resumed my eyesight to that of my ”human” body.
I turned my eyes from myself and to the two other humans.
They were humongous. Like giant titans, towering before me.
I felt tiny. Like a speck of dust on the eyelash of a giant. Like a fly before a god. Like a frog before a dragon.
I cowered in fear before their gazes.
My lips parted and i pleaded for my life.
”P-, Ples dun kir e...!”
With a voice as smooth and silken as honey, i spoke those dumb, incomprehensible words. The gods couldnt even answer me.
I continued:
”P-, Ples! Ey dun tast gud!”
They looked at eachother, and then at me.
”B-, Bob?”
”H-, Hass?”
”...My name is Hansdotter...”
”H-, Hassdo’ er...”
”...Good enough. C-, Could you always do this?...”
”N-, Nu...”
I shook my head together with my words. She looked as if she didnt understand what i said, but the shaking of the head was familiar.
”What is that language?...”
”E-, Ingish...”
My tounge felt too big, like a huge, floppy fish, hopping about inside my too-small mouth.
”Ingrish... I dont know that language... But you understand what I say?...”
”Yesh.”
I nodded.
”Then... Lloyd.”
”...Yes?...”
Lloyd looked very resigned to his defeat.
”Bob can speak. Therefore, allow him.”
”Yes...”
Lloyd slid me the paper again. Alright...
Time to file some papers...!

The Ruins of Magincia
They say all things end in time, but the exalted City of Magi would’ve begged to differ. Yet when an attempted coup goes wrong, the city finds itself brought to the very brink of destruction. In the wake of the calamity that left no survivors, the autonomous infrastructure still operating the ruined city seeks to restore what was lost. Luckily for it, the Mana-devoid Universe it awoke in holds an unexpected surprise: a planet full of sentient life forms. All capable—with a little help—to become the next generation of Magi. Back on Earth, Millie McArthur is a pregnant out-of-work mechanic struggling with the prospect of moving back in with her parents after leaving her unfaithful fiancé. That is until she finds herself just one of the hundreds that have been shanghaied by the callous artificial constructs still manning the ruins of Magincia. Now, she must struggle to learn magic, compete for resources, get good 'grades,' and fulfill the seemingly arbitrary requirements for her future job in this broken city. All while keeping herself, and her son, alive. Is the miracle of magic really enough to make up for all the pain? The Ruins of Magincia is a dark fantasy that's heavy on the drama (LitRPG aspects are very light). Chapter lengths can be anywhere from 7k-12k and there's no current release schedule as I'm focusing on wrapping up volume one.
