《Bathilda the Bat》Alterations

"Creation Magic sure is something else," Bathilda remarks to the empty plot of land before her and the accompanying Hiro behind.
The forest that covered the land between the west wall and the pit of death has completely disappeared as Bathilda guessed it would. Not only has that happened in the last five minutes, but the reincarnated nurse has also erected a new wall near the south side of the city. One that runs from Home to the edge of the gorge preventing any monsters from sneaking by.
Not that many of those creatures are experts at stealth seeing how they range from large to over-sized, but there could be some exceptions hidden among them. With what Bathilda's seen so far, she wouldn't expect anything less than something out of the ordinary.
Repeating the same process on the east side of Home, tree removal and wall construction, Bathilda has now made all the areas she plans to cultivate safe from attack. In less than ten minutes, Bathilda has completely altered the geography of the land around Home and seeing no pressing need to stop she continues with her plan.
Even though she hasn't heard from Scout Jones since the day before yesterday, it's not as though Bathilda needs permission from the government of Home to improve the lives of its citizens. It's not like they're going to say no, is it? What sort of dictator would do that?
With those thoughts in mind, Bathilda creates everything she can think of. From pens to stables and barns to coops. Leaving none unfilled, she adds every animal that she can think of that produces good-eating meat.
Once Bathilda has finished, however, Hiro is casting an odd look towards the chickens.
"What are these ridiculous looking, long-necked birds?"
"Seriously!? You don't have chickens where you're from? Holy shit, Hiro. You are in for a treat tonight then." Bathilda rubs her hands and licks her lips as she imagines the taste of fried chicken lingering on her tongue.

"You eat these weird, little things? They barely have any meat on their bones. Now that big thing over there," he points at one of the cows "I can definitely get behind."
"I get where you're coming from, Hiro, but you'll see later. Not that beef isn't a legend in its own right, but just wait till eat chicken. It's that good you'll be sucking your fingers like you're a child again."
"I am actually feeling impatient to try it now. What else have you got to do out here?" Hiro asks whilst eyeing up a chicken that is pecking away at a rock. With their tiny brain inside their tiny head, it's a good job they're only for eating and nothing else.
"Honestly. I don't know what else to do. This is about the extent of my knowledge. I'm actually hoping the people will come out and deal with the animals and crops. I mean, I don't mind making it rain now and then to keep the crops fed, but that's about all I can do. Let's hope Jones can talk them into working on it."
"So we can go home then?" Hiro asks, completely ignoring everything after realising Bathilda has no other plans.
"You really try that chicken now, don't you?" Hiro blushes at her words, but he doesn't refute her. Bathilda just smiles as they take off in the direction of her lodge.
After 14 buckets of fried chicken, multiple helpings of sides and a strange brown liquid that Hiro was also reluctant to try, Bathilda and her companion are both nursing their tummies on her sofa.
"Gravy. Why does it have such a strange name and why does it taste so good even though it's the same colour as mud?" Hiro releases a loud burp at the end of his sentence and takes another large sip of the fizzy drink beside him "And this! This... Cola! Oh my god! I've never tasted anything so sweet. I can see why you were reluctant to eat in the cave now, you know?"

"Yeah. There's a massive leap from fried chicken to Brat meat. Not that we're ever going to talk about that again, Hiro! From now on, it's fast food and fine dining for us." Bathilda slurps up the carbonated liquid in her own cup and smiles contently.
"Yes! This fine dining was indeed fast food," Hiro agrees, although he misunderstood her words.
"You're funny, Hiro. That's not what I meant though. Fast food is generally fried, like this chicken, whereas fine dining involves lots of cutlery and really expensive food. I'll show you tonight at dinner time." At the last of her words, there's a knock at the door and Bathilda peels herself from the sofa.
Holding her gut, she slowly makes her way to the front door. Upon opening it, the vampire is greeted by a smiling Scout Jones and two other less-than happy people. The newcomers look slightly afraid of the beautiful woman, but nowhere near as much as Jones did before she created the ring of control.
"Hello. I am here to report that my superiors are willing to take you up on your offer and that all went well. The people beside me are the ones in charge of agriculture and livestock. It made more sense to bring them with me rather than trying to remember every detail. Last time there was a lot to remember," Jones sighs, but still holds his smile.
"This is Gladys, she's in charge of the crops we produce within the walls..." Jones points to the blonde woman by his side. 'She can't be older than twenty-five,' Bathilda thinks. 'Yet she has such an important role to play. I hope all the fields I created aren't too much for her to handle.'
"And this is Tom. He takes care of the Tigs. They're the only source of meat we have left in Home and the main reason my superiors agreed to this. Meat can make a man go mad. You should have heard the arguments," he laughs as he puts a friendly arm around Tom.
"Another young man in a vital role. I wonder how old their elders and superiors are?" The brown-haired man shuffles his feet while the blonde woman fiddles with her dress. Both seem very anxious to Bathilda's trained eye.
"Hello Tom. Hello Gladys. It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Bathilda and I'm a nurse. Or maybe you would call me a Healer? Either way, I help people in any way that I can. That's my mission. My goal." She smiles brightly, being as friendly as she can.
"This is my companion, Hiro," she gestures towards her identical copy who also offers a warm greeting. "But you're not here for small talk are you. In that case let's get down to business."

A (Not So) Simple Fetch Quest
Oh great hero! The evil Demon Lord has once again arisen to terrorise our lands, and we have summoned you to save our people! No, we don't want you to fight the demon lord! Of course not; we're the good guys! What sort of good guys kidnap people from other worlds and force them to take part in wars that have nothing to do with them? That would just be plain evil! We'd be no better than the demons! Katie, after her summoning by an excessively loud mage suddenly takes an unexpected twist, is sent off on a simple fetch quest, with a promise that she'll be back home in five minutes at most. She doesn't even need to leave the building. Alas, when a goddess' blessing causes her wish for an actual adventure to be taken rather more literally than she expected, she finds herself lost in a dark cave, far away from the sword she was supposed to acquire and far too close to a population of giant bugs. Still, at least she wished her life wasn't in any danger. Among other things. Be careful what you wish for. You might just get it. This is a dark litRPG adventure, both in terms of Katie accidentally wishing all the lights out, and also in that she loses as often as she wins, often with horrific and disturbing consequences. Luckily, Katie isn’t the sort of person to let a mere grizzly death or two get her down, and is prepared to try, try and try again to get her hands on the holy sword and finally complete her ‘simple’ fetch quest. Or perhaps—with a few resistance skills under her nightie—she might even come to enjoy losing. Not that she’d ever consider forgoing revenge, even if she did. I’ve ticked all the content warning checkboxes for this one. There’s no explicit sexual content, but there are enough references to justify the warning. Profanity happens rarely, but Katie isn’t averse to swearing when she gets particularly angry. As for gore/trauma, it doesn’t get much worse than the first few chapters, but there will be occasional chapters that have extra content warnings.

It's not a game
Where am I? This is not my room. What is this place. If you were transported to another world, to be an RPG protagonist. Just another average weak human being, with nothing but ten copper coins and a crappy sword. Could you defeat demons, monsters and giants? I think not. In a world inhabited by all manner of unspeakable evil, by devils of both monster and man. Could you right wrongs and fix a broken world? I think not. When both your fellow man, demons and the very divines that hold reality together conspire to corrupt, extort and rape this world. When they toy with you and laugh in amusement as you dance in their palms. Could you alter fate? I think not. So when this is the thorny path ahead of our protagonists, why would you expect them to be able to? They’re just human after all, teenagers at that. Nevertheless, join me on an epic journey that will alter the course of history and reality itself as our protagonists show you what it really means to be human... in an inhuman world.

Dear Spellbook (Rewrite)
Live. Study. Repeat. Tal never saw himself as an adventurer, but the call to adventure never much cared for his opinion. Despite his best efforts, his search for answers on the murder of his parents ever draws him into danger. Accompanied by a group of seasoned warriors, thus far Tal has gotten by on his own meager magical talents, but when one day he wakes up to find himself back in his bed of the night before, he is faced with a challenge he must conquer alone. What to expect: This story was born of an attempt to create in world lore reasons for many of the mechanics and tropes of D&D, but you do not need to know of them to enjoy the story. It's a single POV time loop story with slow paced progression fantasy elements. The story is not one of fast-paced power ups and non-stop action, but as it progresses, the action picks up. There is a lot of magic system exploration on a system built to unify the diverse magic of D&D into one cohesive magic system. The setting is an original world with familiar races and monsters but with new unique origins and motivations. Book 1 is complete. Book 2 is complete and coming out M-W-F.
