It took a while for me to get up, though the pain has subsided but I‘m still feeling dizzy & nauseous. What did that monster do to me??Now that I have some minutes to rearrange my thoughts, I saw the fallen Aniya’s body closely. She had 6 six legs with two stingers attached to her back with an upper body resembling to a normal woman. If you subtract her lower body, it pains me to say that she was a beautiful woman or monster...whichever she is. How did she suddenly die??I did nothing to her nor could I see anyone in this area besides me & what was that powerful aura I felt within her???Some thing was shown to me while I was being tormented...what were those??But before I find out about it, I have to find my gears...I’m standing naked here...I wobble & tumble few times, trying to find the escape route or my gear. I have to return to them. After searching for quiet sometime I felt something resembling the shape of a sword. I searched its vicinity & found my gears. I equipped myself...still feeling unwell...I have to let Marion check up on me & it’s best not to tell about this to anybody. I found the way of going out, after following the narrow tunnel, I came into a large room...it was lit with fire stone so I can see moderately. Making sure that no enemies were present I decided to check on those warnings I received.
“Show Curse of Aniya”
CURSE OF ANIYA:
Due to your unhealthy mating with an aphrodisiac half-blooded Shurian, you have been cursed by her.
EFFECTS OF THE CURSE:-
You cannot have a healthy mating process until the curse is lifted. Due to the curse, when you mate, your partner will receive a basic dose of an Aphrodisiac Poison making her unable to control her body. Longer the mating process continues your urges will get stronger. If not controlled properly, your partner may die or become paralyzed depending upon the effect on her body & mind.

DAMN IT......DAMN THAT MONSTER.....I have to find a cure for this quick...nothing I can do now...so...OK...let’s see, what was the other things??? AH...yes...
“Show Life Force Drain”
LIFE FORCE DRAIN (BASIC):
You have now the ability to drain anyone’s life force out of them by channeling your own life force. This skill will only work when even a single drop of enemy blood is consumed. At this level, you can only drain life force out of enemies which are at a similar level or lower than you.
EFFECTS DEALT:- DEATH
VARIANT SKILL UNLOCKED.
LIFE FORCE DRAIN (MATING)
Well... this is a good skill which I can use...but to drink blood to activate it...Why is everything related to blood for me??? & what’s this?? Variant skill...
Show “Life force Drain (Mating)”
LIFE FORCE DRAIN (MATING):
This variant skill allows you to drain someone’s life force through mating.
EFFECTS DEALT:- DEATH
Come onnn.....why????
While I was scared or shocked to see the skills gained, I heard a loud noise coming through the wall beside me. I approached the wall & saw a door was there...I found its lock & opened the door, ready for any attack that may come...*SMACK* *Thud*
I was on the floor....flat. I gained my senses...ohhh...my head hurts & face as well. I was punched...but who punched me...
“I see you are alive...BOY!!”
Ohhhh...I knew this voice, looked up & saw Aby standing in front of me with Wei to her side...both looking unhappy...& the rest of the team laughing. Ron helped me to get back up.
Javel: “What happened to you?? Wei said you fell into a trap.”
Me (nursing my face): “Yeah...fell into a trap...got surrounded by monsters & I made my way here...What about you guys?? Are you alright??’

Wei: “After you fell...the door of this building opened & monsters attacked us. But as you can see we made it this far...”
She was stopped suddenly by Javel.
Javel: “Paleg...light this room.”
Paleg threw some fire stones on the floor...lighting up the room a little more.
Javel (smirking): “Team, we have arrived at our destination.”
Me (little shocked): “What do you mean??”
Javel without answering me signaled Ron & Wei to go with him. He approached a wall with a statue depicting two people crossing swords. One of them wore a bracelet. It was shinning. Javel cleared the dirt off it. There was a key embedded on it. Javel took out the key...examined a little it.
Aby: “Is this it??”
Javel (with a satisfied look): “Yes...our clue to our next target. This is it...”
Ron was looking at the statues closely until he found a strange button on the other warrior statue’s bracelet. He pushed it. With a loud creaking sound... a door right of us opened. A bright light was coming out of it. We entered it & I couldn’t believe it...LOOT...my very first loot on an adventure....yes....The room had numerous carving on the wall ranging from what I could tell were monsters that I have never seen & by looks on Marion & other members...I got a feeling neither did they, it also had a small trunk situated in its center. Paleg opened it. There was a tablet with something written on it.The tablet appears to be made of what I could tell was steel. Javel inspected it & said: “I can’t understand it...let’s take it to the Council Office in the port city.”
Everybody nodded, I was in the dark so I just stood there...who cares...I got my eyes on two rings. I looked around & saw Ron looking at me & smiling...
Ron: “Already have your eyes on the prize...good...go on...take what you like...”
Me (little hesitant): “But...everyone should...”
Javel: “Go on...technically; you were the first one to find this room so you deserve the first share...”
I was filled with joy...not for the treasures per say...but the joy of discovering something important on my adventure. I took one ring with a stone embedded on it & another ring with a symbol scribed on it. I also noticed a pouch. I took it thinking I would see what is in it later. After me everybody took their own shares & we left the castle without any major events. Marion told me that now we were heading to the port town of the Castor Clan to take a few weeks rest & they had some work in the Council office located there...I guessed it’s about the tablet...maybe it contains something important...who knows...with everything that had happened to me, to us...I was happy...happy that my first adventure was a success...& now I’m off to some rest hoping for another adventure...

Recruit - An Infinite Labyrinth prequel
A prequel to The Infinite Labyrinth. The year is 1816. The British Empire is in full swing, under the auspices of King George III. The Infinite Labyrinth has been pouring out its product from beyond our reality and fostered a new industrial revolution. Times are changing, and the people of London are feeling the winds of the revolution while British Professionals push into the Labyrinth. The newly formed Artefact Hunting Company is looking for recruits, and they have new technology to help them. From the slums of London, they aim to recruit a new wave of Professionals. And make Zacharias and the Earl of Carnavon lots of money. So, for Rowan Rivers and a handful of lucky ones, it's time to head into the Labyrinth, and discover what makes it different from England. And what makes THEM different? Recruit is a bunch of chapters I wrote to create to the setting, mood, and game systems of the Infinite Labyrinth. It is NOT a complete story in the classic sense. It's more of a slice of life view of early days of a normal Professional from the Infinite Labyrinth, and it's heavy on info-dump. It's 90% canon - there's probably a bit of a difference between how some characters and common behaviour are portrayed here and how they'll come out in the main story. Set two years before the events that kick-start the main series, it features some of the secondary/peripheral characters of the Infinite Labyrinth and will tell you all about the basic mechanics of the Labyrinth's RPG system. It can be considered a spoiler, as the characters in the Infinite Labyrinth are going to need to figure out all that, on their own. But if you like a much deeper exposition in the mechanics, here it is. The entire prequel is about 80 pages long.

Demon Hunters
Far in the future, the last two viable cities in the western hemisphere – Technoburbia and New Baravia – struggle for control over a vast and largely desolate land. Officially they are at war. In practice, the war has been a stalemate for a generation, the disputed frontier between the two city-states never moving. In the city of New Baravia itself, a vast circular concrete wall keeps its inhabitants in, and its refugees out. For its citizens, life is monotonous and unequal, with enormous wealth in the hands of nobles, criminal gangs, and entertainment bosses. It is the last of these that control the hit entertainment show, “Demon Hunters”. A chance, perhaps, for the ordinary man or woman to rise up, and change their fate... This LitRPG novella is based around a futuristic battle-royale situation, partly set in VR, and partly in a post-apocalyptic city. The story features combat and action, some strong language, and lots of great characters that will stick with you! [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
