Chapter 16: Emerald Pavilion
A hooded robed figure was walking long emerald road.
Emerald road was in the southern part of Mirth academy, where the commercial area of the academy, the Marketplace
The robe figure had his head tilted downwards, underneath his hood he wore a black mask to cover his face, only a small black hair and his eyes could be seen
This figure is in fact, Teo
After a few days, he carefully thought of a detail plan of exacting revenge.
In his mind, it was the perfect revenge but if anyone found out about his plans, they would see it as very immature
Teo needed to buy a few things, and the best place to buy those things would be the Marketplace.
Of course he could leave the academy grounds and head for Mirth city but he decided not to. Although buying the items that he needed from Mirth city would be comparably more safer because the likelihood of a Silver Sword member there would be astronomically small, he decided that wearing a hood and covering his face and just buying from the Marketplace would be enough.
As usual, this place was packed
Many stores lined up selling various things. If one was not too well-informed he would be easily cheated by these merchants. The academy allowed certain individual merchants and a few merchant organization to establish a shop within the academy. It helped foster the students' minds and it also gave students jobs and experience.
This place was not a new place for Teo.
When he bought his gift for his sister he went here with Windle and Lia. With both their help, he found a really nice necklace for Rowen and thanks to Windle's connections, he had a substantial discount on it
Teo walked through Emerald road. He did not stop at the other small shops and headed to a huge red building.
The building was one of the largest within the Marketplace. From the outside one could see that this building should have at least 4 floors. It was difficult to tell seeing as there were no windows around it. Only a large door with a few guards standing beside it and a fairly large sign above the door "Emerald Pavilion". The letters painted with emerald green and gold colors which made it look magnificent.

The Emerald Pavilion was a large merchant organization across the empire and within the academy, they were the biggest. With an agreement between the Emerald Pavilion and the academy, they provided discounts for the students under certain conditions.
....
Inside the building was a fairly large room. It was connected to a hallway which led to several other rooms each rooms containing different classification of items.
The room contained a wide staircase at the very back of the room and a a fairly large desk with a woman behind it.
The woman had a very dazzling appearance. Long brown silky hair flowed down her shoulders. Her skin was fair, without a hint of imperfection. She looked young, but had an aura of an experienced woman. Two pair of seductive eyes blinked slowly as she saw a short robed figure entered.
Her eyes widened slightly but it quickly returned back to normal. As the person designated to greet the customers she always had to keep her composure.
The robed figure wore a mask, which only revealed a few strands of black hair and eyes.
She gave him a welcoming smile as the figure came closer.
"Greetings dear customer what would we help you with today" She spoke very politely her voice was sweet and gentle
The robed man let out a muffled replied "I'm looking to purchase some elemental stones and powder"
Upon hearing the man's replied she said "I understand" while keeping her smile
She turns around to look at the several female attendants sitting on the side
"Aisha, can you please escort our esteemed guest to room 3"
A young female attendant with short hair in uniform stood up, She walked towards the robed man and politely said "Esteemed guest, please follow me"
She led him to the hallway and as they walked she openly said "Esteem guest, is this perhaps your first time in this Pavilion?"
Teo, underneath the robes did not speak and just nodded his head
Aisha already knew that the robed figure was a new customer because unless a customer required something help, they would not go to the front counter; they would just go straight through the hallway and browse by themselves.

The front counter was mainly for new customers or customers with special request. Elemental stones and powder were not anything too special. She still asked the question just to be polite.
"Is that so, well esteemed customer, here in our Emerald Pavilion, you can find most things you would ever need. The rooms contain different classification of items that you could possibly need"
As they walked pass the first open room, Aisha slowed down her paced and gestured with her hands towards the door
"For example, Room 1 contains weapons merchandise, if you are looking for a weapon you can come here directly"
The room was full of weapons. Many glass counter were there showcasing the more expensive weapons, while cheaper ones were stacked together onto the weapon rack. A large man was behind the counter with a few male attendants nearby awaiting for the large man's orders.
"Each room is labeled to what classification of merchandise it has and our customers are free to browse anywhere within the first floor. We have everything from weapons, armors, clothes, jewelry, crafting tools and materials, and even some miscellaneous items. If you feel that you cannot find an item, please inform any staff members we have"
Teo who was listening intently let out a muffled voice "What about the upper floors?"
Although the the robe man's voice was muffled by the mask he wore. Aisha could also tell that the voice was that of a child that has not matured yet. Judging from the man's height and figure, she could tell it was a young man possibly a first year student.
"The second floor requires that you have enough sufficient funds before you can enter. It is like the first floor, except that the items are of higher quality or rarity and priced higher. The third floor is only for special guests with special purchases. As for the four floor, it is just a floor for our Emerald Pavilion members"
They quickly arrived at room 3, the materials room.
The room had many class counters with all different kinds of materials. There were different types of wood, shiny ores, metallic bars.
Teo's eyes looked around the whole room. 'Theres so many materials here, I wonder what they are for?' he thought to himself
There were other customers in the room, and several people behind the counter helping the customers or finalizing the customer's purchase.
Aisha guided Teo towards the woman behind the counter and spoke "Esteemed guest, this person here can help you will be helping you with your purchase. If you need anything else, please inform any of our staff members and they will be happy to help"
After that Aisha left the room
"Esteemed guest what might you be looking for?" The woman behind the counter asked
She looked young, but a few years older than Teo. He orange hair was fairly short and was tied into a fairly cute twin tail.
"I am looking to buy some elemental stones and some elemental powders as well" Teo replied
"Which kind of stones and powder were you looking to purchase and how much of them would you like to purchase?"
Teo reached into his inner pocket and pulled out a list and handed it to the orange haired woman.
She took the list and looked through them. After looking through the list, without even a pause the woman quickly said
"Everything on this item amounts to 3 gold and 50 silvers in total"
When Teo heard the price his mouth behind the mask dropped. 3 gold and 50 silvers!! He hardly had enough. He had only been working for a little over a month and he already used some of his money to buy a gift for his sister. Even with some tips he received the amount of money he had was only 32 silvers.

You have such an amazing way to make the words flow and unbelievable descriptions. Unique characters and a great story line. All the small clues and mystery in the humor and fantasy just makes the book perfect in my opinion. I read all chapters in two days! Less than 48 hours even! I'm REALLY looking forward to the next update, the world of Aethernea is so deep and well thought out, it's beautiful and magical. God I can't believe how creative you are, so many small details with so many families and stories everywhere. Purely fantastical, I admire you." - astro-logical from Wattpad "I love love love Aethernea so much! It is amazing how you created this new world with different creatures, magics, looks, illnesses, and evil! I was blown away by your explanation of the Mana pools and how to weave magic! Simply stunning really! You are one of my favorite authors and Wattpad and I am so glad I stumbled upon Aethernea because it is worth all of my time reading!" - Adriana_V_Blade from Wattpad "I absolutely am loving Aethernea so far. I am certain you belong in the ranks among J.K. Rowling, Rick Riordan, Suzane Collinings, and many more great and wonderful authors. You opened up a whole new world for me, which only a few great authors have accomplished. While it's true I am pulled into each and every book, few are able to capture me to the point of inescapability. Though, somehow, you have managed this feat. I thank you for this and more! You are a wonderful author and can't wait for more to come!" - daughterofpercabeth7 from Wattpad "WOW! just caught Aethernea in gravity tales! Just when I was getting tired of most xianxia novels this appears and completely blows my mind! I really like the depth and the humorous touch you give the characters and it seems you have the storyline well thought out since you are always hinting about things in the past and the future. It has been such an enjoyable experience that I couldn't stop reading, finishing it in just one day and laughing my way through most of the episodes. But what keeps me so excited for what's coming is the magic system and the professions of the world you are creating. The magic mechanics have such a huge potential! They are simple but at the same time they open so many possibilities. Even though we still only understand the basics of transmutation and augmentation, I expect them to enable fights where there is need of quick thinking and skill, and not just brainless overpower of every opponent. In a way this makes me reminiscent about The Mistborn Series by Brandon Sanderson, which are one of my favorite series ever. The thing that sets Mistborn apart from any other series is that the mechanics are so well thought out that they could be used to create a super cool triple A video game and I cannot help but hope Aethernea reaches the same level or even surpass it. I really think it has that potential. Really hope this series gets the attention it deserves. As for me, Thursdays and Sundays just got a whole more exciting! =)" - AlexMLion "Your writing is fantastic and riveting, the chapters and character flow so smooth, and it captivates the reader with the many twist and turns that tricks one mind into thinking this is about to happen, when suddenly the exact opposite happens. You truly are in inspirational writer with a brilliant mind that can see and put words into chapters and into this one truly awesome book. Thank you!" - AshleyStaar from Wattpad "I loved this story, such detailed description and accurate words, both Kiel and Elaru completely caught my attention, your writing style is just beautiful and the plot is astounding and it's just the first episode! This kind of fantasy stories are my favourite, it has a lot of magic in it, rivalry and sense of humour." - BlackWhiteD from Wattpad

Legacy of Blood
Ao Ruang lives in a village isolated from the outside world. Due to a tragic fate he finds himself far away from his home on the brink of death. Only to be entrusted with the legacy of a near extinct race.A Legacy he must embrace.A Legacy that fills humanity with suspicion and hate.A Legacy written in blood. Hello Author here!I hope you all are enjoying my take on a cultivation story. I wanted to take elements I enjoy from cultivation novels while avoiding some of the tropes and insane power creep. I want to keep things as grounded as possible. The story is a bit quick paced in the start, but you will find that it slows down to a decent pace later on. The romance is going to be a slow burn and I want to keep it a bit of a surprise. While our protagonist Ao Ruang is the main man of the story their were will be times other characters will get some love also.Lastly, there will be occasional goals from latest chapter if those goals are reached I will release a bonus side chapter that focuses on other characters we have met before and I'm considering having polls to decide who the side chapter will be on.Please consider supporting me in anyway you can. For now I'm just looking for people to review, suggest to others, and interact.Respectfully,Joseon Walking
