After reading through the shop and stats, i was perplexed and wonder why my dice and joker card wasn’t listed anywhere in the shop. Thinking about it for a few minutes, i came to the conclusion that maybe some items and skills could not be bought and had to br acquired from the games.

Next, I clicked on the inventory button. I had 18 skills and a lot of utility items, most of which were useless. Out of all the items, only 7 were useful, the wineskin which could hold 5kg of any liquid, a space ring which had a pocket dimension that i could store stuff in, a crossbow gun which turns my magical energy into arrows, a healing spray, a shoe which allows me to perform a double jump, a baton which shocks all those who touches the stick and a sleeping bag.

Out of all the skills, there were only 4 i found useful, healing touch, shadow clone, inspect and iron skin. Healing touch heals all minor injuries with my touch for 5 mana per second and Iron skin turns my skin to iron for 1 mana per second. The rest of the skills were fully offensive or very situational. From what i gathered about the description of the skills, skills were supposed to be the trump card. Offensive skills were useless as offensive abilities could be learnt from the powers tab. The skills that one should buy was supposed to be something one could not learn when buying from the powers and bloodline.

On the button of the inventor tab, there was a bag icon. I clicked it to see what it meant and a text appeared saying that i could sell anything for one tenth of the buying price. Since i had a lot of useless skills and items, i decided to sell all the useless ones.

I clicked accept and gained more points, turning my total amount of points to 7130 points. Curious at how much the dice and joker card would have cost if they were sold. I tried to sell it to check it’s price.

Wait a minute, if i can’t find the dice in the shop and i can’t find any info on it, how am i supposed to upgrade it? Right now it is a D class item and since all the items and skills with class in their name could be upgraded, i should be able to upgrade the dice too or buy a better version of it.

I tried to search for a way to learn more about the dice in all the menus but after searching for an hour, i gave up. I used the dice and flicked it while saying “ Chances of me finding clues about the dice in the next round.”

I got a 2 on the roll and decided to roll again later, There was a timer on the bottom of the menu counting down and it still had 116 hours left. This means that i had 5 days in the hub to plan and buy what i needed.

After putting the dice and the card at the back of my mind for now, i decided to plan out what i needed most and the best way to efficiently spend my points.

Okay, let's start with defense, i need to buy something to keep myself safe. The greatest threats of the games are going to be other contestants. The main hidden goal of the games is for us to kill each other. If they didn’t want us to kill each other, they would not have made the ark. The reason why the ark travelled for a week was to give us time to kill each other. If they didn’t want us to kill each other, they would have teleported us here immediately after the ark door. Thus it is for certain, the biggest problem i will face are other people.

Judging by me being 5th person to be sole survivor, this means that more than 99% of the population will have less than 1300 points and only less than a handful will have as much points as me. The most points anyone had in the ark was 300, thus it is safe to assume that the majority will be like them and will have less than 1300 points. Moreover, the chances of me meeting another person who has any where near the amount of points i have is abysmally low.

Okay, now since they have 1300 points, what would they spend the points on? Most would probably spend most of the points defensively if they are smart and tried to play safe. Almost everyone is scared of losing their life and thus will buy stuff like bulletproof vest, protective clothing and such. Making themselves feel safe would probably cost them around 400 to 800 points. This means they will have very little to spend on other stuff.

The only cheap weapons they afford are guns and bims. Thus this means, i just need to buy stuff that can deal with bullets and bims. Moreover with how much points, they will have left, it will be unlikely for them to be able to afford many bims, at most they will have is 1 or 2.

I looked through the armour section again to see what match my description and saw that the cheapest option was the gantz suit. Not only could it deal with most bullets and explosives, it would also increase my strength and mobility by a ton. Though it would not be able to sustain through heavy attacks from big guns, with the powers from other sections, i was certain i would be able to handle it. I clicked the gantz suit and dragged it into the buy icon.

Next i had to decide on powers or bloodline. The bloodlines were powerful and would increase my physical capabilities by a ton, it was very expansive. Bloodlines were expansive and not very cost efficient, it was only good from c class onwards, so unless i buy d class and c class together, it was not worth it to buy bloodline compared to powers. Thus i decided to not buy it for now.

For the powers, i had to decide between mental, spirit and magical energy powers. I canceled out all the options which were situational and specific and decided on the ones that were left. Since i did not know much about the games and how it work, picking situational powers would be detrimental. For example, devil fruit powers had a big weakness to water and the users would not be able to swim. It was only after it reach B class where the weakness would be gone. Thus if the next game was held in the sea, i would lose immediately as i could not afford the b class devil fruit powers.

Since i only had 5130 points left to spend, i decided to buy something which has high growth potential but still cheap in the early stages. Thus i bought d class nen. With Ten,Zetsu,Ren and Gyo, It was sufficient to be able defend myself. With enough practice, i could use ren to kill anyone next round as it is highly unlikely that they could defend against it.

With d class Nen and gantz suit, i was only left with 3630 points. I had defense and mobility and was only lacking in utility and attack. Since i knew most people could not afford very powerful defense, i did not need to spend much on a powerful weapon. I also did not need to buy small things like guns and bullets as i could just take them from others. Thus i just bought shifting mithril and put it in the buy icon, leaving me with 2130 points left.

I decided to buy bim bombs next as utility or for emergency situations. I bought 3 barrier bims, 3 implosion bims, 2 blazing gas bims, 3 remote control bims,1 poisonousness smoke bim,2 homing bim and 1 timer bim. Thus i only had 630 points left after spending buying the bims. With the remaining points, i decided to add it into stats.

After clicking the button for purchase all items in the buy tab, i felt a large shock. Immense pain wallows through me as if i was being shocked by lightning. A large amount of pressure entered me and it felt like something slimy and invisible crawled across my skin. The pressure attacked my body and spirit, bringing me immense amount of pain.

“ARGGG!!!” I screamed for i didn’t know how long until the pressure subsided. Through sheer will, i did not allow myself to lose consciousness. My instincts were telling me to survive through this.

As the pressure subsided, i felt as if the pores of my skin grew bigger and felt more alive. I could feel great strength coursing through my veins as whitish aura rushed out of my body. My body felt lighter, stronger and i could concentrate better.

So this is nen. This whitish aura must be nen and the reason my body felt better must be because of the increase in stats.

However, just as i was thinking about my sudden increase in power, a large stream of information gently entered my mind. The stream of information slowly entered my mind and taught me everything about Ten, Zetsu, Ren and Gyo. As i learnt what i had to do, i felt a great sense of danger. My aura was leaking and if i allowed it to leak too much, I would die.

I quickly followed the teachings of the information that entered my mind and started to visualise my aura flowing like blood around my body. From the top of my head to my left shoulder and all around my body. The aura circulated all around my body like a river as my body stood still in a natural stance. Slowly the aura started to hover around my body and felt like my body was surrounded by a warm soft mucus. It was like wearing weightless clothes.

It a few minutes of maintaining this state, it soon felt natural to me and i was able to maintain it without even concentrating. I had successfully stopped my aura from leaking and applied the main principle of Ten.

With the successful attempt at using ten, i decided to practice Zetsu next. The imaginary pores around my body slowly closed shut. My aura that surrounded me stopped being emitted from my body due as the pores closed. This continued until i stopped emitting energy outside my body and my body felt like it was invisible. My presence slowly decreased and i felt like i was invisible.

With the loss of my ten, i suddenly felt like i was naked. A sense of danger filled me as i lost my protection and was suddenly defenseless.

With the successful attempt at zetsu, i decided to practice Ren next. I opened my pores again and used ten. Aura hovered around like firm and i felt protected again. I released my control of my hovering and my aura rushed out. I willed it to expand it’s size and intensity, causing the aura to rushed and become a raging storm. A high amount of aura was emitted from my body as my felt my spirit energy depleting. I felt even stronger than before with the use of Ren.

With the successful attempt at Ren, i tried to practice gyo. I willed most of my aura to concentrate on one body part, my right fist. Huge power surround my fist as the rest of my body suddenly felt vulnerable again. I punched the white cloudy ground below me and a large shockwave spread out like waves from the ground before magically turning back to normal.

I changed the concentration of my aura to different body parts and to my eyes. Soon i tried it with every body part until i was capable of performing it on everybody part successfully on my first try.

Since i had a lot of time left, until the next round starts, i spent the rest of my time training. I switched from one state to the other to gain further control and to increase my speed to changing states. The special ability of the hub, allowed my body regenerate all lost spirit energy immediately. Whenever i ran out, it would instantly recover, bringing me back to full. Throughout the training, not once did i felt like i was tired or needed to eat.
