《Grand Magus》Chapter 5 Data

Quickly the group of seven boys stepped outside the Caretakers circle which should be around one hundred meters.
The Caretakers only glanced at them for a while before continue to do their own stuff which had a chance of including a bet whether the group of seven boys would survive as one caretakers pointed at us before throwing a small bag on the ground, which the other caretakers responded by throwing a small bag onto the small bag.
The Wildlands didn't had that much trees in it, it was more a plain with tall grass. Though the grass sometimes reached a height of 2 meters so there were small islands of grass in the ocean of greenness. Though sometimes a small group of trees could be seen, they formed an islands as well.
"We will try to avoid these islands, after all dangerous beasts could hide inside them and sometimes the animals aren't the most dangerous species inside such an islands. We will mostly search for smaller animals or fruits in the normal grass." spoke Richard quietly as the group formed a line with Richard being the leader and Fraser being the last one tightly clenching his grip on his loaded crossbow.
'This isn't normal grass, it's almost 60 centimeter or two foot long. I am only 1.5 meter or 5 foot big. Wait, what are these measures?'
"We found a small patch of potatoes. Tom are they safe to eat?" asked Richard as he turned towards one of the boys.
"Yes, they are safe to eat but we need to cook them properly or else there will be too much poison in it. But the flowers on top of it can be eaten without cooking and should be really nourishing for the body, at least that is what I heard." explained Tom as he ripped the flowers from the potatoes.
Tom offered every boy a flower but most declined except Richard and Fraser.
As Fraser stuffed the flower into his mouth like Richard, Fraser could see a small glint of approval in Richards eyes.

[New Plant confirmed, very nutritious, at your amount right now it will allow for half a training session with the Basic Knight Breathing Technique]
'What? You can analyze the composition of my food? Can you scan anything?'
[No, I am only able to analyze the Date you see, feel, taste or absorb]
'Then what is the result of my rations or the stew and piece of bread I ate?'
[Nutrient low compared to the Flower you are eating now. One stalk of the Flower can be compared to one of your stew and piece of bread meal]
As soon as Fraser heard that the Flower could allow him to do more training sessions, in other words increase his strength he immediately asked Tom for the Flowers.
Since Tom didn't knew that the flower could nourish his body he said nothing. Even Richard just shrugged his shoulders and the group of seven boys continued the hunting session.
While they harvested the potatoes Fraser chewed one stalk of the flowers carefully until they all disappeared into his stomach.
The hunting group consisting of seven boy continued and soon encountered a few basket full of eggs which they looted without alarming the parent.
However unfortunately they tried to plunder an egg basked in which the parents protected the eggs and it was not an easy animals.
"Tom, draw your shield and assist me with keeping the two long snakes from our group. The rest try to hurt or best case kill the two snakes." shouted Richard as he guarded himself with his shield and sword.
Fraser slowly walked into the safest place of the formation which would be between the two tanks.
In the end the seven boys split into three parties. Three boys each engaged one snake each while Fraser aimed his crossbow.
[Aiming support activated, control of arms and upper arms regulated. Ready to fire at your control]
The AI automatically went into supportive mode which allowed Fraser to trace his crossbow aiming at the snakes with precision. There was a hologram of a line which simulated the flying curve of the crossbow bolt.

Fraser waited for a while in order to play the act of "steady and slow" aiming before firing a precise shoot into the eye of one of the long snakes killing it immediately.
Blood sprayed out of the Snakes head as it felled onto the ground with a *thump*.
To ensure the death of the snakes Richard impaled the head of the snake with his sword completely, skewing the head of the snake.
After the small fight the group of Richard helped Toms group and with six young boys hacking and slashing the long snake it quickly died as well.
As they skinned the two snakes and harvested the important parts like the meat Fraser bagged all of the organs as the group wanted to throw them away.
With bulging bags full of eggs, potatoes and mostly snake meat the hunting group moved back towards the wooden carriage train block.
Fraser lingered at the back of the returning group. Naturally it was dangerous which would make no sense, however as he would soon have to live with a group of people it wouldn't be that easy to keep secrets.
So he put one of the organs of the snake into his mouth and got shocked by the information.
[Very nourishing body tonic found, devour it fresh in order gain the maximum benefit without any added substances]
Naturally not every organ was that nourishing as Fraser even had to spit out most of it and clean his mouth with the water from his water bag.
However three organs were pretty good body tonic for him which he ate. First the intact brain of the second snake, two red orbs which Fraser would describe as the heart as well as the one who looked like a poison orb as the orb of meat was black.
As soon as he ate them Fraser felt stuffed, like really stuffed.
After testing and eating the organs Fraser quickly moved back into the middle of the hunting line as he let Richard take the lead back to the wooden carriage block train.
On the way back nothing special happened but as they arrived back at home Fraser saw most Caretakers sighing and only a few collecting the bags in the middle.
There were was little over hour left as Richard ordered the people in the group, mostly the girls to cook. Naturally the boys who stayed behind needed to gather firewood and more water.
The hunting group had free time and Fraser naturally sneaked into a desolate part of the wooden carriage train which was the place Fraser least expected.
It was in the middle of the wooden carriage train block as every child walked or played around the wooden carriage block in order to let off steam or just to use the muscle in the leg.
Fraser used the enhanced Basic Knight Breathing Technique and did one session after another.
First session, second session, third session, fourth session, fifth session, sixth session, seventh session, eighth session and finally at the ninth session Fraser wiped his sweat away and searched for a wet rag in order to clean himself of the clearly visible grimy layer of dirt on his skin.
Fraser didn't used the entire body reserve he had, instead he probably used about 90% and stored the rest in order to not decline the strength he had. So he could survive with only a little bit of rations and not decline in strength.
'AI, show me my body numbers.'
[2.83 strength, 3.02 agility, 2.98 vitality]
'It seems like the number three is a bottleneck for the Basic Breathing Knight Technique.'
Fraser did knew that he assigned the number 1.00 for his previous body, a fairly weak built 12 year old. Naturally only in comparison to a noble. He would even be considered a fairly well eaten peasant child.
