The cheer of the three million demon’s beasts shook the ground as many were stomping along with the cheer. Lucifer who was standing in front began transforming into a pure black dragon and had Luna and Sia climb onto his back.
“Are you guys ready.” Lucifer roared.
The cheering increased as more and more were became impatient to begin.
“Then Forward.” Lucifer roar causing the ocean to split and flew forward. Behind him, the millions of beasts followed and they raced toward the first kingdom which was based near the shoreline. Inside the kingdom, thousands of citizens stared in terror as they watched millions of beast’s rampages as they exit the ocean.
“Run it a beast tide from legend.” A man shouted as he began to run.
“Grab the children.” Women shouted as they grabbed the young and ran.
Panic ensued as the guard raced to confront the beasts and the citizen ran. The Cultivator who was station quickly ran toward the weaker beasts as he sent out an SOS hoping nearby cultivator could respond fast enough.
After managing to cut down four demon beast the cultivator soon fell, as ten demon beasts attacked at once. Soon the beast’s managed to enter the city destroying buildings and anything within reach. Watching from the sky Lucifer soared over the city and giving out direction through Qi transmission.
“The city has fallen so onto the next one.” Varies squad leader shouted as they went north toward the next capital.
The beast continued to march onwards towards the next city when they eliminated all the life in and around the city. Looking down Sia and Luna just looked undisturbed since they can’t complain since it was their idea but, they just thought it was a pity.
“Where are all the resistance at?” Sia said since they only found one cultivator in the entire city.

“Are they gathering at the next city?” Luna questioned.
“The lone cultivator sent out an SOS so they should swarm over here but I yet to detect any sign rushing over.” Lucifer voice transmitted to their ears.
Gliding through the air, the three watched the beast tide trample everything in their paths. Along the march they knocking over small villages and small forests. After few hours of marching, they soon arrived at stone walls armed with thousands of soldiers and mix of houtian and xiantian realm cultivators.
“It seems destiny wants the demon beast to rule,” Sia stated as she watched the beast mow down the soldiers with barely any casualty on their side. Luna just looked down without refuting as the humans are falling rapidly and in less than thirty minutes the city was theirs.
Looking to his left Lucifer suddenly felt a powerful cultivator rushing over but going by his standard he could be compared to a kid with a large weapon, the energy he picked up put the cultivator around immortal realm but either from lack of knowledge or bad technique his energy highly unstable.
“I got this one,” Luna said pulling out a rock from her storage ring. Standing on his back she took up a pitching form and threw the rock causing few sonic booms before it nailed the cultivator dead center of his head.
“49 points out of 50 points.” Sia voiced as she judges the throw Luna made.
“Only 49 points, huh,” Luna sighed as she sat back down.
After conquering their newest town, the demon beast stopped their rampage as two the land is big enough for them for now and they can gradually spread with time. Of course, there are many who still ready to go expanding their territory but the majority were calmed down after centuries of idleness.

Flying on ahead Lucifer went toward the next town as he senses few powerful figures that could launch an attack against the demon beast is gathered. Appearing above the city the citizen began to run in terror as Lucifer flew closer and the guards stood guard shaking in the knees.
“Stand your post we can win this fight.” Varies commander shouted.
“Brace yourself.” Soldier shouted.
“ROAR.”
Lucifer shouted as he spews out ice flame freezing everything it landed on and causing the temperature to drop immensely. Hundreds of guards and soldiers either died or wounded as their blood quickly froze. The once topical city now turned into winter wonderland making everyone shiver.
“Time for lap two,” Lucifer said and glided over a city.
The nightmare ice fire came again making all the guards and soldiers run in terror as they know the damage it can do. This time thousands of citizen and guards were caught up as they turned into solid ice.
“This probably one of the most painful things he has done until now,” Sia commented as she watched them either get severe frostbite or freeze to death.
“Maybe since all the other time they were either instantly killed or doesn’t know how they died,” Luna replied.
The city that once was planning on how to force the demon tide back has fallen into a winter wonderland. Lucifer who was the cause just grinned in self-praise while the girls just had stiff smiles.
“With this, the surrounding territories should invade for few years as they need to build up forces and give enough time for demon beasts to settle into the land,” Lucifer said.
“Great, now since we did this let go to the next realm now,” Luna said.
“I’m ready anytime,” Sia answered.
“Great let go.” Lucifer smiled as a black portal opened up and swallowed them before they vanished. As for their future adventures may lead them this is unknown as this narrator couldn’t enter the immortal realm…yet.

A King in the Clouds
Tanlar. A cruel, repulsive, and foul word. It meant untitled, officially, but it also meant ungifted, unable, unworthy, unnecessary, unhuman. It was more a curse than a term, a badge only the damned and condemned wore. To be a tanlar was to know your life, your entire being, was insignificant. Once Kaizer had resigned himself to such a fate, but those times had passed. He may have been untitled, but he was anything but untalented. He refused to scrape by at the bottom of society. Those who stood above him could sneer all they liked, but he wouldn’t suffer being stepped on for long. He’d be better, much better. But of course he would be. ‘Fate’ demanded it so. [Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] What To Expect: The story of a boy becoming a man becoming a king + everything that entails. Largely gamelit, but later arcs could be called litrpg. Also schemes. A lot of schemes. I do love some good ol' fantasy politics and intrigue. Minimum Word Count a Week: TBA after Writathon Release Time(s): Daily for as long as I can/until the end of the Writathon. I also write The Deathseeker [Returning Dec 5th]

A little rough around the edges, I hope to come back and edit at some point, and then continue the story on. In the grand scheme of things Elias was nothing special. Which was why he was surprised by a random company on a new colony planet buying out his contract. That was the problem with the large companies that ruled the colonies, once they owned your contract, they owned you. Imagine the greater surprise when he learnt that the new company held the promise of freedom. Not from the constant battle against the Swarm that were also trying to claim the colony planets for their own. Nor from the Crust, the mysterious substance that covered the same planets and held the resources they all fought for. No, the freedom from being oppressed by those with more power and to finally decide where to go and where to set down roots and call home.
