In the VIP room of the auction house, Lucifer and Moon were sitting facing the stage waiting for it to begin. Standing behind them was the branch manager with a hint of nervousness waiting for orders from Moon. After some time pass the crowd slowly quieted down and a man appeared on stage.

“Good day to everyone, I have the great honor of presenting these rare and incredible treasure today,” The man said with a slight bow.

There was a small clapping from the crowd before the man continued.

“Since every here for the auction, not me let begin. For the first item we have twenty Qi Refinement Pills that have been refined three times,” The man said and the crowd started whispering. It should be known that Qi Refinement Pills can be used to remove impurity from one’s Qi or when Devil Qi invade one body. What makes the deal even more unbelievable is it been refined three times so it three hundred times better than on that been refined once.

How the refinement work is with refinement the pill power will increase much fold but with each refinement the chance of failure increase. The limit set for each refinement is nine as any more would cause the pill to become deadly to anyone who eats it no matter their cultivation level.

“What a waste of pills,” Lucifer said with a slight sigh.

“Why do you say so?” Moon asked since he attracted to the pill.

“Whoever made these are an expert but they made a small error in ingredients and causing the pill to become poisonous,” Lucifer said even though he, not an expert in alchemy he has the basics of one.

“That impossible we do every kind of test to make sure any product like that won’t appear in the auction,” The branch manages said.

“Well it won’t be a major issue but whoever buys them are going to have a terrible itch for the next year,” Lucifer said and the bid has begun.

“The starting price is five thousand gold,” The man on sage said.

“Six thousand,” A big man shouted.

“Ten thousand,” another shouted as the price continues to rise.

The price stops rising when it reached 700,000 gold and a man in fancy suit won the bid. The man on stage showed a smile as he receives ten percent of the total price it sells for while the thirty percent goes to the auction house and the rest to the owner who sold it to the auction house.

The next item was soon brought out and looked to be an incomplete cultivation manual. The word spelled across the cover was ‘Heavenly Sin’ and Lucifer just frowned. In Lucifer memories he got from the deity this cultivation technique showed up but was label as demonic as it requires the user to steal the other cultivation.

“Oh, what wrong with you Lucifer,” Moon asked when he saw Lucifer frown.

Lucifer looked at the branch manager, “Are you sure that not a demonic cultivation technique?”

“We had a team of expert analyzed it and they deemed it safe for both pairs to cultivate together.”

“How did they test it if it incomplete,” Lucifer asked.

“They compared it with hundreds of techniques in that similar in nature while running few tests,” The branch manager answered with a hint of nervous and confusion as for why this eight-year-old knew so much.

“Do you know something about it that we don’t,” Moon asked since he knew Lucifer was way beyond smart for his age.

“This technique has the same name as a demonic technique from thousands of years ago which almost caused the cultivation world to fall apart,” Lucifer said causing Moon and Mike to look at each other in confusion.

“If that happens wouldn’t there be records of this happen and how come we never heard of it,” Mike asked.

“Well because the one involved in it were on the edge of breaking into the immortal realm and felt embarrassed since it requires two to cultivate it. There no problem with it but the final stage is when on take their partners cultivation and boost their own. As for how it collapsed the cultivation world is that millions took part in cultivation this technique the other techniques began disappearing.” Lucifer said.

“But how does it make ones that were about to become immortal embarrassed that they erased that from history,” Moon asked.

“Then how do you know about it,” Mike asked.

Mike just silently gave up as he knew he won’t get his answer but looked down on the stage as the bidding has reached one million gold and still rapidly climbing.

“Should we have it removed it before it sold,” Mike asked Moon.

“Since it incomplete it should be fine but just give them a warning of the dangers so they don’t come back complaining,” Lucifer said and Moon nodded in agreement as it, not their place to help everyone.

“Very well,” Mike said as he steps out to give the order to the staffs.

“Is it really fine to leave it like that,” Moon asked.

“Should be but who ever use this method won’t progress pass the immortal stage,” Lucifer said.

“There are stages pass the immortal realm!” Moon said in surprised.

“Who says cultivation only ends at the immortal realm. There a saying Cultivation is without end so why would it suddenly stop after becoming immortal.” Lucifer said.

“Point taken,” Moon said with a fire lit him his eyes to reach for that realm.

Suddenly the world Qi around Moon began to rapidly gather and his Cultivation began to rise when he suddenly rushed pass the peak of Golden Realm and step into the origin realm with no sign of slowing down until he reaches the mid Origin realm.

“Why did my cultivation suddenly skyrocket,” Moon said in excitement.

“Because what stop you from progressing was that your resolve to continue to cultivate was weak and since it revived your cultivation reach where it supposed to be since long ago,” Lucifer talked with a slight smile as it caught him off guard also.

“Cultivation is filled with many mysteries and can’t be explained no matter how hard you try,” Moon said missing Lucifer explanation.

Feeling that he has ignored Lucifer just turn his attention back to the auction which just sold the technique for three million gold. Seeing that the next item already arrived on stage got Lucifer excited as he didn’t expect to find this in this realm- A Phoenix Egg.
