《The Transformation God》Chapter 26

Time passed quickly and few days have passed when an old man showed up at Lucifer courtyard. He was wearing a simple red robe and had a long white beard but his eyes glowed with life. Looking at the old man Lucifer seems to remember seeing him in the library a few days ago when he threw the two.
“Now I see why the sect master said that I should come here,” The old man suddenly spoke.
“Excuse me but who are you,” Sia asked.
“I’m your master for the next three years,” He simply said.
“Why three years,” Luna asked.
“Simple I’m going to attempt to break into Immortal Stage,”
When hearing that he going to attempt breakthrough into the Immortal realm Luna and Sia got excited as the man in front of them was incredible. It should be known that the current sect master was only half step away from breaking into the immortal realm.
Seeing the two bright smiles on the girl's faces made him feel joy at the seeing how great he is. When he looked over at Lucifer all he got was disinterested face making him question his intelligence. He announces he was going to reach the immortal realm yet he simply disinterested.
“Why do you look so disinterested when you’re looking at a future immortal,” The old man said.
“Is becoming an immortal really that impressive,” Lucifer said.
“Of course, it is. I don’t have to worry about dying from age or illness and I can play with a large number of women,” He said.
Hearing the old man goal as for why he wants to become an immortal made the opinion of the two girls drop to rock bottom as they step back with a look of disgust. Seeing what happened didn’t seem to faze the old man as he quite used to it.

“Luna do you think we can get a different master,” Sia asked.
“He might be a really great master,” Luna asked.
“What are you going to be teaching us,” Luna asked.
“Alchemy,” the Old man gave a simple answer.
“You're going to teach us alchemy but we don’t even know your name,” Sia asked.
“You can just call me Old Vin,” He arrogantly said as if his name meant something.
“Is your name post to mean something,” Lucifer said.
The pride that he had deflated in less than a second. When he was younger he was renowned as a genius but like the most genius, he fell from fame. Now he mostly spends his time outside of cultivating researching alchemy. But a century ago he dove deep into research cutting off contact with outside world causing his fame to disappear.
“When are you going to start teaching us,” Luna asked.
“When you memorize everything in these books,” Old Vin said pulling out ten think books with around thousand pages each.
Seeing the books Luna and Sia's eyes fell as it going to take a few months just to get through one of the books even with their speed of reading. Lucifer just looked at the books uninterested as the deity memories have most herb as he read about them in his free time.
“Lucifer why do you look so bored. This is one of the greatest profession in the word,” Old Vin said.
“Why should learn alchemy when I know more about blacksmithing,” Lucifer said.
Hearing that Lucifer want to learn blacksmithing made Old Vin look at him in surprised as blacksmithing was not well-respected occupation. Most cultivator only learns basic in blacksmithing in order to create their own weapons as they feel renowned blacksmith are frauds. The reason they are known as fraud is that they have high prices for low-quality goods.

“Why are you interested in such a low discreditable occupation,” Old Vin said curiously.
“It because when it combined with arrays it can lead to very powerful weapons,” Lucifer said.
Hear Lucifer Old Vin mind was blank as most compact arrays were bigger than can be put on weapons. The problem that Lucifer discover with this world is that they think bigger the array more powerful it is.
“That crazy everyone knows that bigger the array more powerful it is,” Old Vin said.
“Is it? then explain why this experiment sword I made,” Lucifer said as he pulled out an iron sword that had small ice particle floating around it.
Seeing the sword made Old Vin speechless but quickly concealed his surprise as most cultivator is known to be open-minded. The thing that got him the most shock was that an eight-year-old boy has done this.
“Don’t look so surprised genius come in all ages and sizes,” Lucifer said.
“Yes, but there should be a limit,” Old Vin said.
“Well look at the time,” Lucifer said before he left.
“Where he going,” Old Vin asked.
“Don’t know probably to practice or work on his forge room,” Sia said.
“Is it just me or is he growing more arrogant and grumpy every day,” Luna asked.
“Is he not sleeping,” Old Vin asked.
“Grandfather Moon told him not to sleep ever,” Luna said.
“Why?” Sia and Vin asked.
“Don’t know maybe we can go ask him,” Luna suggested.
“No need I’m here to take Lucifer on a small trip to the southern ocean,” Old Moon said as he appeared.
“Elder Vin nice to see you taking an interest in my granddaughter,” Moon said with a slight bow.
“Why did you tell him never to sleep?” Vin asked.
“He has a slight issue, when he sleeps and something tries to interrupt he will kill it and anything that moves,” Moon said in qi transmission.
“You call that a slight issue that basically a disaster waiting to happen,” Vin yelled.
“And that why I’m taking him on a trip so he can get caught up on some sleep,” Old Moon said.
“Very well but select some sect mission for him so he can earn some points,” Old Vin said.
“Already done and I already told the sect master about it so he won’t be skipping out on punishment,” Old Moon said before he went to Lucifer.
“Well let get started reading,” Old Vin said clapping his hands.
