Time flew by and the month-long trial has entered into the last week. During the last week, Lucifer was experimenting with the weird energy he been using to cultivate with. This has led to many discoveries that it can take on any properties either healing or destruction. This also has him thinking that he only touched the tip and there more to discover but his cultivation hasn’t progressed far enough yet.
Looking around him were piles of destroyed rocks as they were the subject of his experiments. Seeing that they have few days left on the island Lucifer decided to gather Luna and Sia who were madly practicing to increase their cultivation.
“Let go explore the island since we have few days on the island,” Lucifer said.
“Why we can use this energy to increase our cultivation level faster,” Sia said seeming drunk on her fast improvement.
“That the reason why I want to explore the island, You guys are rushing to increase your cultivation that you getting sloppy with your foundation,” Lucifer said.
“How can you possibly know that it not like you know everything under the heavens,” Sia said.
“Since when has haste help anyone in progress of their cultivation other than making them unable to increase their strength,” Lucifer said.
“Guys calm down there no need to argue,” Luna said.
“Only if he stops acting like he knows everything,” Sia said.
“I’m only reminding you,” Lucifer said.
“Well maybe I don’t need your reminder,” Sia said.
“Very well I’m going exploring,” Lucifer said and left.
Seeing the departing back of Lucifer Luna felt like chasing after him but decided to stay with Sia. The two of them sat in silence for an unknown amount of time before Sia stood up.
“Say something will you,” Sia said.

“Why did you get angry at him like that?” Luna said after thinking.
“Because he's always right and looks to progress as easy as breathing,” Sia said as she admits that Lucifer was right as her foundation becoming sloppy during the last week.
“So, his talent greater than ours and yet progress at the same speed as us why?” Luna asks.
“So, he can show off that he has better talent,” Sia said.
“No, it because he wants to have the best foundation in order to have an easier time advancing in the future,” Luna said.
“How can you know that and what does he consider the foundation stage?” Sia ask.
“Every stage below Infant Soul Realm he considers the foundation for the physical body. The Infant Soul Realm is after Origin realm which he deems the foundation of the soul which last until the Immortal Realm. As for how I know this is he told me when we went on a month-long training trip,” Luna said.
“But how can you trust him and that he won’t screw you overpass the point of no return,” Sia asked.
“Have you not felt his feeling at wanting to help the one around him,” Luna said.
“Yeah, but he might have another motive that might cost you your life in the future,” Sia said.
“Well we won’t know until it happens so I’m going to trust him,” Luna said while Sia just shakes her head at Luna blind trust.
After Lucifer exited the underground palace the time was around noon as the sun was at its peak in the sky and few clouds in sight. While looking around he saw that it rained in the last few days as he detects puddles nearby. While looking at his surrounding a shining light reflected off the side of the volcano.

“Look like something worth climbing the volcano is located there,” Lucifer thought as he formed wings.
Climbing the side of the mountain would have taken few hours but since flying takes less than three minutes. As soon he became in range of the object as he couldn’t help but smile as he located a griffin nest who are known for collection treasure.
“Looking at the small pile of treasure it must be fairly young one maybe around three hundred or so,” Lucifer thought as he looked at the pile of different treasure.
In the pile of treasure Lucifer manages to locate much rare metal located in the mortal realm but common in the immortal realm but since he still in the mortal realm he wasn’t complaining.
"Tiny human what are you doing in my nest," a voice rang out behind Lucifer as collect the treasure.
"Stealing you treasure," Lucifer said facing the griffin who looked ten feet tall.
"Your brave one isn't you," The Griffin said.
"Well, it won't take much effort to defeat you who only at the late xiantian realm.
Hearing Lucifer answers how could his Griffin pride allow this tiny human insult him like this. He the might griffin who ruled over the island for the last two hundred years yet was compared to an ant.
"I gave you a chance to explain yourself and yet you choose the road to death," The Griffin said in an icy tone.
"Really, but from how I'm looking at it you that going to die," Lucifer said with an icy smile.
Seeing that this is chance see the effect of the law of despair Lucifer looked directly in Griffin's eyes and activate his understanding of the law.
Seeing that Lucifer eyes changing into pure black Griffin suddenly felt terrier and panic rise up inside causing his strength to drop.
Upon seeing the effect Lucifer took the chance and transformed his arms and hands and swiped toward the Griffins vitals. Upon danger approaching the griffin quickly stepped back barely dodging the claw. Seeing that his attacked missed Lucifer quickly followed up with a kick covered in dragon scales.
Seeing that a kick way heading his way the Griffin cried out as he doesn't see a chance to counterattack and has to stay on the defensive.
"Where did all your strength go?" Lucifer taunted as he kept delivering attack one after another.
Hearing Lucifer caused his anger to soar causing his panic and terrified feeling subsided. Sensing that the griffin strength is returning Lucifer decided that he better stop messing around and suddenly sped up his attacks.
"I really enjoyed battling against you but it time to end this," Lucifer said sounding like he regrets it.
Suddenly Lucifer channeled destructive Qi into his claws and clashed against the griffin claw shredding the entire arm. Feeling intense pain where his arm used to be the Griffin roared in anger and began collecting his Qi into his Core preparing to self-destruct taking Lucifer with him.
"You can die by yourself," Lucifer said when he noticed what the Griffin planned to do. Lucifer quickly ripped through the Griffin body to the beast core located in the Griffin's heart and yank it out.
Seeing that the Griffin has died Lucifer stored the body as the material could be useful at a later time. Seeing the gruesome scene, he created he began to think his primordial transformation effect more than just his body.
"This might require future investigation in the near future," Lucifer said before flying away from the volcano and continue his exploration.

A darkness that would later make him known as the Lord of Night. Note to Reader: I understand this book is not for everyone, if there is a writer that can write to please everyone, I have never heard of them. The MC can be frustrating in his decisions as he learns to grow and accept what and who he is. I believe this reality is unavoidable. That being said, if you feel the need to give a review, please do so, just know that I will report you if all that review seems to do is blab toxic language and insult my literary choices without giving constructive advice or alternatives. That's not just a me policy, that's a policy of this website. I'm not writing this note because I'm a writer who does not acknowledge that there are faults in my work. I know there are. That's what happens when it hasn't been professionally edited by someone other than the author. I'm saying this because I'm sick of reading 1 star or 0.5 star rated reviews that seem to do nothing but hate on the book because they don't like the story. No comments on grammar, ways to improve or suggestions for better story arcs. Just plain hate. It's not on, and I frankly shouldn't have to write this note, but needed to get it off my chest. In saying all that, thank you to those who do leave reviews that don't fall into the above category. Your appreciation of my work, or alternatively, your willingness to give advice for improvement, is appreciated.

Maitbudi
Fermboi was a man of one ideal: make the weak strong. When his rebellion against the king proved futile, he was given another chance at life. This time, he sought to do nothing after realizing the hopelessness of it all. Aventina wanted to do nothing more than to follow her father’s footsteps. On a retaliation raid against her tribe’s enemies, her brothers perished. Spared by a leader of her enemies, she returned home to find herself the chief of her tribe. Bolahulag, half-civilized and half-barbarian, half-lowborn and half-royal. Raised in his mother’s civilized tent in a sea of barbaric shelters, Bolahulag was hesitant to follow his paternal way of life. After a battle between a civilized king and his father, Bolahulag was sent as hostage to learn the economy and military of the nation his father defeated. Derai knew nothing more than being an orphan, but when a merchant took her in, the world she thought impossible soon became a reality. Monghe, stuck in a school exemplifying strength for most of his life, began to understand what he needed to do in order to be strong instead of weak. Story is mostly about nothing. Fermboi does most of the nothing. Aventina does most of the military things. Bolahulag does a balance of economy and military. Derai focuses on economy. Monghe spitfires what it means to be a typical hero. Hopefully this is enough to give a general idea to people who don’t like going blind aside from the work being purportedly “good.” Who am I kidding, my writing is terrible. I hope it improves though.
