“I don’t think that going to help us at this point,” Lucifer said pointing at the giant head poking out of the tree.

The direction that Lucifer was pointing a reptile head poke out between the trees. The head looks to be dozen meter across with blazing red eyes. The scales are silver in color, and a pair of wings could be seen behind the head along with four sharp claws. The most important detail is that it cultivation base is late xiantian.

“We found a giant lizard,” Lucifer said.

“Who you calling a lizard boy,” An angry tone came from the lizard.

“If you’re not a lizard then, what are you? Lucifer asked.

“I’m a Heavenly Silver Primordial Dragon,” The self-proclaimed said with pride.

“Your around 276th descendant of one,” Lucifer said crushing the lizard pride.

“HOW DARE YOU,” The dragon roared in anger.

“If I beat you, how about you become my servant,” Lucifer said.

“Why not you're going to die anyway,” The dragon said.

Lucifer steps forward and released primordial dragon aura causing the dragon to slow down immensely. While the dragon slowed down Lucifer took out his heavy sword and smack the dragon. The dragon was smack so hard it sounds like thunder throughout the island. The nearby land was destroyed as a hole was formed as the dragon slid across the ground.

“Oops, I think I hit him too hard,” Lucifer said looking a the barely breathing dragon.

“You think, now what are you going to do if he dies,” Luna said.

“Collect his blood, purify it then use it at later date,” Lucifer said after thinking about it. Of course, he won’t use it on himself as that would just be a waste but it might become in handy later.

As if hearing their conversation, the silver dragon spat out blood and died. Seeing this Lucifer sigh as he lost a great beast companion but can’t have it all without effort.

“Can I have the materials as they would be great practice material in becoming a grandmaster alchemist? Sia asks.

“I get the beast core then,” Luna said as they quickly gather the remains of the dragon.

“One down two more to go,” Lucifer said.

Few hours have passed since the trio enter the forest looking for more beast cores but they had yet come across another demon beast. The more they walked the more confused they became at their speed as they should reach the shore.

After few more hours of walking, they saw a familiar spot as this was the place that Lucifer killed the Silver Dragon. Seeing that they return to their starting point only increased the confusion as the three of them decided to sit up camp.

“Lucifer this island is weird,”Luna said.

“I agree with you,” Sia said.

“Well, it seems we can’t exit the inner circle of the island so let try entering the center of the island. There might be something interesting items there,” Lucifer said looking at the volcano in the distances.

The three of them came to the agreement to head to the center of the island but decided to wait until morning. During the night Lucifer progressed that he can step into the mid xiantian realm at any point. but decided to hold off for the time being as he felt he was raising too quickly in power.

“Morning guys,” He greeted Luna and Sia as they step out from their tents.

“Let get an early start today,” Sia said.

“What the with the rush,” Luna said.

The three of them sat in a circle eating breakfast even though they could survive few months without eating Old Moon force this rule upon Lucifer and Luna. Soon they finished eating and pack up their stuff ready to set off again.

Few hours passed by and the distance to volcano gradually grew smaller but what was weird is the ack of demon beasts again. After traveling some more they discovered a demon beast at long last but it was already dead.

“It looked as if something petrified it,” Lucifer said and the girls nodded.

“Let continue as thing are going to get interesting,” Lucifer said.

Time flew by and the more the trio traveled the more demon beast corpse they found but they all died in the same way. Seeing that the sun was setting they decided to set up camp and continue tomorrow.

“What do you think it caused all of them to die like that,” Luna ask as the petrified corpse grew the closest they got to the volcano.

“Most likely a beast that has a petrified trait,” Lucifer said.

“What kind of beast have that?” Sia asked.

“Well, there are legends that the Ouroboros that have these traits… as…long with…,” Lucifer speaking began to slow down the more he talked.

“Lucifer what wrong?” Luna asked.

“I think we’re in trouble,” Lucifer said.

“You don’t actually believe that an ouroboros still lives as they died out over thousands of years ago,” Sia said as she read information about them before.

“The world is full of wonders and I like to say your information is wrong because if that true then what am I looking at,” Lucifer said pointing a pair of amber eyes.

Luna and Sia turned around and saw a snakehead in the distances staring at them. The snake was watching them with interest. Seeing that the snake not going to make a move they calm down but put them on guard.

“What should we do? Luna asked.

“Capture it as it still in its infant stage and looks like it a pure blooded one too,” Lucifer said causing them to look at him crazy.

“You're insane,” Sia said.

“If you manage to make it your beast companion it will increase your combat power to another level. Also, when you completely sync with you your training progress speed, will multiply,” Lucifer said.

“When can I find one for me? Luna said after she hears this.

“It completely pointless to use this on a random beast and it might even hurt you instead of being useful,” Lucifer said.

“Well, then what the plan,” Sia asked.

“Easy beat it up until it offers a contract,” Lucifer said with an evil grin.
