In the sky, the moon has reached its peak. The nocturnal beast was roaming but near the ‘Sword Empress’ tomb, it looked as if it turned into a desert. The source of it was sitting in a formation meant to block the fire from spreading but the temperature was hotter than expected so the plants died of dehydration.
“I know that this formation block most of the flame and heat but this is insane,” Old Moon said as he looks at the dying plant around him.
‘Of course, it is, the technique I gave her allows one to wield phoenix flames once she rises high enough in cultivation,’ Lucifer internal rolled his eyes but still smiled.
“It looks like she readies to break through any second,” Old Moon couldn’t hold in his joy.
The flame surrounding her slowly began to evolve gaining tints of green to them, but the heat continues to grow to cause everything in thirty-meter radius to die. Soon the flames began to die down causing the temperature to drop rapidly as the flame soon vanished.
‘It a thing I had her wear fire resistance clothing or this could end badly,’ Lucifer said as he praised himself and looked at the wasteland of dead plants.
“I’m going to practice inside the house while we wait,” Lucifer said entering the house.
Luna continued to sit there solidify her cultivation causing small green flames to float around her. This continued around forty minutes before she stood up with a happy smile.
“Congratulation on entering the xiantian realm,” Old Moon praised.
“Yeah but I still can’t match Lucifer in combat,” Luna said but a smile remained.
After hearing her Old Moon looked confused as he guesses their combat power was about the same. Upon seeing the confused looked Luna decided to fill him with a secret.

“Lucifer can take on characteristics of beasts and I’m pretty sure he said something like primordial beasts if I remember correctly,” Luna said causing Old Moon eyes to turn sharp.
“You must never, and I mean NEVER tell anyone about what you just said,” Old Moon said causing Luna to step back in fear.
“Bu-But I tho-thought you knew al-already,” Luna stumble to say while trying not to cry.
“I’m not trying to scare you, but what would happen if his enemies learn of this or a powerful expert decided to kill him to learn his secrets,” Old Moon warned.
“I understand I will never speak of this again,” Luna said as she didn’t want to cause harm to Lucifer.
While sitting inside the house Lucifer heard everything that was going on outside but simply smiled. He didn’t really mind Luna telling one of his secrets this time as he knew one learned better from mistakes. Waiting few minutes so Luna to calm down Lucifer went to the kitchen and made a quick snack but since all three of are above realm not eating for couple weeks won’t harm.
“Lucifer it's time to go,” Old Moon said through Qi transmission.
“Coming,” Lucifer said exiting the house.
“We have one week of traveling to arrive and the admission test of the year is three days after that,” Old Moon informed the travel schedule.
“Why is it taking longer to get there when you arrived in less than an hour?” Luna asks.
“If I use my speed even though I could use my Qi to defend you, injuries are bound to happen,” Old Moon said.
Old Moon lift both of them off the ground as they could travel faster even if it wasn’t his max speed. After eight hours of flying Old Moon landed outside village without a name.

“We stay here tonight,” Old Moon said headed to greet their chief.
While Old Moon chats with the chief Luna and Lucifer looked around the village. The village had around forty huts with some worn down from time while other recently built. The children could be seen either working or training.
‘Something feels off about them,’ Lucifer thought as he looked the buff guy leading the training. The man looked like he in his late thirties but his giant muscles were thick as a tree. The energy he releases put him at the peak of the early houtian realm.
“HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO BE BIG AND STRONG IF YOU CAN HANDLE THIS TRAINING!” The man shouted as a kid around seven fell down.
“I’M SORRY MASTER HAWK!” The boy shouts as he stands back up and begins again.
“Since you fell, you have to do an extra five thousand more punches, kicks, push-ups, and ten laps around the village,” The man said and the other to look at the boy with pity.
Lucifer suddenly realized that they were training their bodies but since it done incorrectly their muscles are giant. What even more amazing is how their trainer manage to reach his level.
Luna, however, had no idea as to why they were training like this as it seems pointless and one punch from her could crush them.
“Let continue looking around,” Lucifer suggested.
Walking around some more the more they believed something was wrong with the village as the women stayed around their homes weaving, creating arrows, and cooking. The men all look like they were getting ready for a fight.
“Kid why are you without a warrior nearby the nearby village could attack at any time,” A man who was patrolling said as he walked in front of them.
“I’m sure we can defend ourselves,” Lucifer said seeing that the man who was early houtian realm.
The surrounding suddenly men surrounding men burst out laughing.
“Kid, with those tiny arms of your you couldn’t even harm a true warrior.” The man said.
Luna who was clenching her fist ready to punch these adults for making fun of Lucifer but suddenly feeling pressure came over her.
“There you two are, come back with me,” Old Moon voice carried over.
When these men saw an old man walk over they wanted to continue mocking them but suddenly observed pressure that could easily crush them appeared.
“Grandfather, this village has problems,” Luna said.
“I know that this village not normal but there is bigger and worst spot in the world. The reason I brought you guys here was to broaden your horizon about this world.” Old Moon said as they walked to the abandoned house that the chief permitted them to use.
“But I feel they're more than what they want us to perceive,” Lucifer said.
“Then I guess we wait and see,” Old Moon said.
