El wakes up to small white flowers all around the barn. He sits up and slowly knits a flower crown. With a tiny arts and crafts project out of the way, he sets his finished work down next to his bed and gets ready for work. He heads to the mill once again to keep working. There was a large harvest this year.

Kib works in his mine. The time spent alone and underground leaves him with time to contemplate. He had no one left. He worked to pass the time at this point. Just waiting for his new friend, El, to come to visit him.

El grabs the flower crown before leaving the farm. He heads to Kib's mine, travelling down the road. Reaching the warren he starts to move quietly down the tunnels and sneaks up from behind him. The kobold twitches as the flower crown is set on his head. He reaches up and gently brushes a claw down a petal.
“Is this magic, protective, or some religious mumbo jumbo?” Kib asks as he tries to look up at the accessory.
“I’m too poor for magic. It’s a gift from the fey.” El steps back from Kib.
“Fey? Fey and dragons never got along,” Kib states.
“Well, maybe you can blaze a new path.” El shoves his hands into his pockets.
“Yeah, I’m ready to kill something now that I’ve properly accessorized.” Kib pulls his flower crown firmly into place.
And the two go hunting. They face off against a few goblins who go further into the Kobold’s territory. Almost all the way to the Warren. One of them shouts out before he dies that they won’t be wiped out by two kids. Kib winces, understanding the goblins' speech, but El doesn’t know their language.

The two retire for the night. Having a successful fight. El feels the prowess of his skill growing.
Kib lays down in a room in the back of the warren. The floor is covered with child-like drawings of dozens of kobolds. His arms wrap around the drawings. Imagining himself in a kobold pile, his people’s traditional method of sleeping that they adapted to for safety reasons, Kib feels a hollow comfort from the art.
The kobold pulls the crown from his head and places it on his chest. His hands fold over it as he curls onto his side into a small ball. His eyes close and he drifts to sleep.
El stops halfway back to town, turning off the trail, and walking towards the edge of the fields. He walks the perimeter and comes to the fence. He doesn’t have any offerings, he doesn’t have any purpose, and he has no intentions to hunt or find the fey.
The farmhand stops at the usual board and notes that one nail is missing and another is halfway out. He looks around, hearing a slight snicker, as it dawns on him that he interrupted the fey this time.
“If you have the time, I know someone who needs a friend,” El speaks softly.

The Hellish Incursion Part I: Demon Dogs Conspiracy
When one journey starts, there is always one with a different path. Lilac Rezmirn thought that she would lead a dull life while waiting for her brother, Hans Rezmirn, to return with the glory and fame for being one of the pioneers who discovered a new land. However, she did not expect her life to follow a different adventure. Her fate was set when she met a lupine stranger who didn't look and act like a typical Lycan. She soon found that this lupine stranger, who had limited knowledge of her language, was in fact a hellhound, a humanoid lupine dweller of the Underworld in the Hollow Earth. Meeting the hellhound proved to be the start of her adventure. She met companions along the way, and she slowly discovered that the hellhound she met was involved in something sinister, which would undoubtedly changed the Continent of Ternor forever. This is the story of Lilac Rezmirn, sister of Hans Rezmirn, and Ifrit Schelkz, the lupine hellhound from the Underworld. The Hellish Incursion is a spin-off story set in Ternor which started several weeks after Hans and his friends reached Main Continent. It is part of the same continuity with 'Light Bane', but can be enjoyed without referring to the other series other than knowing who Hans Rezmirn is.

Red Street Daybreak
August Samuel Hatch was born under an inauspicious pattern of stars. It's granted him what is widely considered the most unlucky of inconveniences: becoming host to a powerful but pernicious spirit that will act as his guide and protector--and one day end his life. Sairne is sworn to stand by August's side and, when the fancy strikes her, advise him, all in the service of atoning for a past life she can’t remember having committed a grave enough offense to earn her soul indentureship in the mortal realm. Bound by a celestial contract neither one can negotiate, their fates are all they've ever known. But in a city ruled by religious right and where magic runs deep as bedrock, their search for a missing friend leads them to a dark conspiracy that could transmute the very magic that binds them to their fates, and that might grant them the ultimate choice: do they save the city or save themselves? Cross-posted on Wattpad and Ao3. For fans of fantasy YA story beats if they starred adults instead, 1920s inspired setting, lots of banter, larger cast of characters, somewhat soft magic system. Completed, but being actively edited prior to posting! I'm the only captain on this ship, so mind any errors.
