《Not another zombie apocalypse role playing game》Chapter twenty six: Calm and the storm

“I’ve always been able to hold my alcohol! What is there to fear? Fluo wine? Even pure spirits can’t defeat me!”
“What vigorous spirit, his cheeks flush and breathing erratic. What could have possibly have upset our hero?”
‘Ji…’
“What? What’s that look?”
‘Would you mad if I told you that there might be some stuff in the air?’
“Hehe. Even adrenaline has a hard time effecting me, how could your silly little aphrodisiac do anything to me?”
“It would appear our hero’s confidence is bolstered due to his immense regenerative powers, and rightfully so.
However, physical regeneration has it limits when magic is involved.”
“Eh? Ah.
I can’t say you haven’t treated me well.”
“Rising and sitting up straight, Ji looks into the air, presumably to try and calm his overactive blood.”
“Haaaa! Breathe Ji!”
‘Here have a drink, it’ll calm you down.’
“With a heave, Ji swallows the crystal clear cup. What spectacular craftsmanship. Even now you can still feel the material moving despite being in solid state.”
“Wheew! That tasted amazing. And wow. What an amazing cup.”
‘Hehe. It’s made by my mom; this is her little hobby. There is actually a formation on it as well.’
“Really?”
“Lifting the cup into the air, the young expert scrutinizes the eloquent creation.”
“I can’t see it.”
‘Haha. Of course you can’t, the formation is not only small, it is extremely well made. Even dad would have a hard time seeing it thoroughly.’
“As the graceful little Fluo girl laughs our hero narrows his eyes, is this the great thirst we see? A savage is a savage after all.”
‘Ieee!’
“Mmmm!”
“How ferocious. Our hero appears to have lost his usual goofball demeanor and taken on the part of a hungry beast.”
‘Ahh! Slowly!’
“Huehuehue! I’ll show you slowly.”
“With a violent motion our hero is clearly intending to rip the poor defenseless young woman’s clothing.”
“Eh?”
“Like a split waterfall, the clothes scatter into drops leaving behind a flustered Fluo.”
‘Nooo!’
“A very low and playful cry can be heard from the enticing and shapely seductress.
Despite her excessive strength, she pretends to be in a state of vulnerability.”
“Hehehe.”
“With a smirk Ji grabs a hold of the squirming Tio and pulls her into his embrace.”
‘Ah you beast! Hehe.’
“Roar!”
“With a roar our hero playfully bites the squirming beauty. A shriek can be heard but her hands slowly wrap around the attacks back.
But their joy should soon come to an abrupt end.”
‘Tio-oh!’
‘Damn!’
“Wha…”
“Large quantity of water engulfs the rather excited Ji.”
‘Mom! Stop it!’
‘Oh? And who are you? Where is my good little daughter?’
“Mrphgph!”
‘Shush!’
“Within the violent sphere of water, another layer of water appears, appearing sharp and more ethereal.”
“Mrrrpphghlph!”
‘Stop it mom! Stop!’
‘Why aren’t you explaining?’
‘Why do I have to explain!?’
“With puffed red cheeks the seductress, the powerful Tio-oh has taken on the form of a spoiled child.”

‘Oh? Don’t want to explain?’
“Within the spear the sharp repetitive waves inch closer to our hero’s throat, it would appear we are coming close to a swift end.”
‘I can’t! You know my job! Want me to discard generations of work!?’
‘What work? You think I didn’t see what you were doing? And with this low level boy? Who is he even?’
‘This is Ji. He’s a new customer!’
‘You don’t come visit me for over a year and now that you have, you have some boy-toy with you?’
“With a calm cold face this older Fluo quickly changes the subject clearly intent on continuing her questioning.”
‘Let me see. Ji Aleksy? Don’t tell me he’s a human from the Aleksy family? Tio…’
‘You don’t understand! He isn’t related to. No he is related to the Aleksy but!’
‘But what?’
‘But he hasn’t ever met any of the Aleksy! He’s special. Just ask uncle Ohoh!’
‘Oh so uncle Ohoh knows but not me? Your dad is going to like this.’
‘Mom! Don’t!’
‘Your father deserves to know what is daughter is up to!’
‘Whatever! I don’t care anymore. You’ll cry for years if you make the wrong move!’
‘Let’s see what the boy has to say then.’
“Ji stares at this incomparably strong woman as he tries to catch his breath.”
“Venerable water god! To think I met such a deity!”
‘What is he talking about Tio?’
‘I told you he was special.’
“In all my days. How invigorating! Those contemptuous eyes! That disregard for life!
Powerful!”
“With bloodshot eyes our hero stares down his captor with frenzy and madness.”
‘Uhm.’
‘Uhm? What is he saying Tio?’
‘I may have used your cup.’
‘…’
“With unknown vigor and stamina our hero continues to try and break free, mindlessly reaching out to the new arrival.”
‘This won’t do.’
“Come closer!”
‘Get away mom. Just leave us alone.’
‘Not a chance. Give me my cup.’
“Once the cup lands in the hands of Tio’s mother it vanishes. Shortly afterwards the water turns clearer and clearer.
This is something of a healing ability, yet doesn’t heal and can even be used in malicious ways.
It extracts or attracts the violent mana in an area.”
‘Well boy. Feeling more talkative?’
“What in world. Tio… what did you give me?”
‘Just some low level stimulus. I thought it wouldn’t be so effective.’
“Tio’s mother gives her a look, clearly not believing her beloved little rebel.”
‘So. Are you going to explain why you and my daughter have snuck into the mansion and even snatched my prized creation?’
“Well about that. I was just here to learn martial arts.”
‘Some martial arts you were learning.’
“You can see poor little Tio visibly shrink a little as she stares into the air, as if she was in deep thought.”
“Ah. Well. You see, that was just me teaching and sharing my lowly martial arts named Tantra, it is very dependent on close physical contact you see.”

“With an innocent yet confident smile our hero lies through his teeth without breaking a sweat. Admirable, finally a quality we can genuinely praise.”
‘Oh? Tantra? Care to show me a few moves?’
“Of course!”
‘No! No! Mom just go away!’
“With a near unperceivable smirk, the elder Fluo glances at her daughter before turning around.”
‘No more Tantra!’
“Eh?”
‘Why do you look so disappointed!?’
“What? No. That’s not it.”
‘What was it then?’
“Nothing really, nothing at all. Just the narrator.”
‘Really?’
“Really.”
“What impeccable lying. Such deception is rare! We may have truly misjudged our hero!”
“Why are you so excited about that!?”
“After a sumptuous meal our hero was assigned a room. On the far end of the mansion.”
“Should I feel lucky to have survived today?
You really can’t underestimate magic. Even hardcore pain medication didn’t work on me.”
“There is low lighting in the spectacular room. Light ripples through moving water, giving the whole area a calming rhythm.”
“Alright let’s see if I can do that water prison!”
“It would appear our deceptive hero has the far-sighted dream of replicate another person’s ability.
If I said it was possible, that would be true. If I said it was hard, that would be an understatement.”
“It’s just a ball of water right? I’m sure I can do it.
See. Ball of water.”
“An unstable sphere of water now hovers in the air. Brimming with mana, clearly the technique used is losing large quantities of mana every second just to maintain it.”
“I don’t have anything to bind, bit of an issue. Alright, screw it, we’ll do something else.”
“With closed eyes our hero starts summoning small quantities of mana and changing their shape.
It can be said that water is a very easily influenced matter, wind even more so.
In fact, many clans have ways to create clones from wind or water. Some more formidable than others, but they all have the same in common.
That is, they are weak and can’t stray too far away from their creator.”
“Clones? Interesting.”
“A small silhouette of a person starts forming, one fourth the size of our hero. Frozen still, only a shadow has been created.”
“Wait! I’ll make it move, wait.”
“Veins betray our protagonist, revealing his intense focus and the pale complexion his fatigue.”
“You talk way too much! I´m trying to focus.”
“A very rigid step. The unrefined little clone takes a step and move his head slight to look at its creator. Its empty eyes reflect its origin.”
“Haaaaah.”
“The clones comes apart, the terror on its face sends chills down one’s spine.”
“Wait! It can feel!? No! little guy!”
“Scrambling to move towards his melting creation, he stumbles and slams his hands and crushes his ‘child´.”
“Nooo!”
“We can taste the despair in our hero’s primal scream. It travels out of his room and the perceptive mother of one turns her head slightly before disappearing into a watery mist.”
“What demonic magic! How horrible!”
‘What are you doing boy?’
“With the elegance of an empress the Tio’s mother has appeared in our hero’s room. Her gaze icy yet you can see a gleam of interest growing as she sees the accumulated water in the room.”
‘What have you been doing?’
“Speechless, our hero feasts his eyes on the woman wearing practically transparent clothing. Even his eyes turn slightly red and his breath becomes heavier.
It would appear this protagonist is losing his usual cool. A rare occasion.”
“I created a living clone of me. I couldn’t control it! I couldn’t control it! It melted right here, staring into my eyes.”
‘Impossible!’
“It was all my fault. I didn’t know! I was a father for a moment! No one should see their children melt before their eyes!”
“Despite the tearful words, our hero has started to grab onto the transcendent woman, his hands around her waist as he wails like a wounded cat.”
‘Let go!’
“Suddenly our hero gets lifted into the air. Seemingly by by the will of Tio’s mother.”
‘Make another one!’
“Cold sweat runs down our hero’s back and his face pales as he hangs there mid-air.”
“I can’t possibly dabble in such immoral sorcery. To create life only to watch it die miserably? I can’t do it.”
‘Can’t?’
“A malicious expression turns this goddess into a demon. Sending one from heaven to hell with a thought.”
“Ah. No! Stop!”
“In desperation, little Ji has started to gather all his might and throwing it at his oppressor. Large quantity of water whipping, slashing and hammering down.”
‘Ha ha ha.’
“A smile of pure joy washes over this gorgeous woman as she defends herself. Licking her lips, a sharp light seems to shine out of her blue eyes.”
‘To think you are this talented. I can see why my daughter likes you. And by the looks of it, you just over twenty.’
“Uhm.”
“Panting from exhaustion our hero finally gives up and hangs there midair.”
‘Alright. I’ll leave you alone. But don’t think you’ve earned the right to my little angel.’
“As she disappears from the room our hero falls to the ground. Motionless aside from the desperate breathing.
It is fun to consider that Tio is already more than three times older than our hero, yet treated so protectively.”
“This world really isn’t safe. Even such beautiful women are more terrifying than beasts.
I think it would be best to get out of this place, she doesn’t seem stable.”
“As our hero lays his head to rest we can still feel the ground shake occasionally; it would appear that the brothers haven’t finished their fighting.”

Soul Forging
