《The Tragic Tale of a Zombie Survivalist》Number One

Hello! Sorry about the cliff last chapter, it went a little longer than I thought it would be so I split it...in a very good place to split...
Now then, any Questions, Comments, or Concerns are welcome!
========================================
“In Second Place we have Takashi Toshiro! A charismatic Farmer that has gathered two complete Regions! His abilities in and out of combat will astound anyone! Not to mention that his actions have helped the surrounding people to continue eating and surviving! I wonder what his future will hold.”
Shit. No, this won’t end well. How can I be the strongest?! Wasn’t there tons of other people in the world?! Why is it that I, who started late, still became the Number One person in the world?! Is this the power of a Necromancer? Being able to control many Units and raise them quickly would make for a more powerful person, but I don’t understand!
“Aaaaaand in First Place, we have the Scourge of the World!”
Great, another Title. I literally got an alert in the middle of the broadcast.
“Coming in at Bounty Level 6 and possessing the Noble Status, he is the Tragic Lich Variant who died after trying to become a zombie hunter! He had more than enough food and supplies to live for two more days, but he decided to go hunting! And what happens when he walks outside? He gets turned! For shame.
“But, he grew quickly, relying on others’ Skills to rise to where he stands now, nearly 20 BOSSes strong! No, if we count his creations, he has many people more who could raze a City! No amount of courage can stand up to someone who can raise the dead! And to make matters worse, there are several others who can raise the dead! And all of them work for our Number One!
“Let’s hear it for…Andrew Pharlain! Leader of the Undead Clan and holder of nearly 3 whole Regions! Capable of sweeping his forces across the land and decimating everyone, he decided to build a Stronghold first and then Conquer everyone! Undead, Demons, Monsters, it doesn’t matter! All sorts of powerful creatures have joined him!
“Cursed Beings cast out of Heaven and things that seem to have come from nightmares. These are just some of the people that follow him!
“Now, we can’t forget his other actions. He killed the variant that turned him, saving a little girl in the process. When that girl’s group was under attack, he went and saved them! He housed the struggling survivors and helped them grow, giving them electricity and food. He used his Units to rebuild the Area into a place everyone can settle down in.

He set up a working Quest System that helps the people get stronger quicker. He is even creating a Dungeon to use as a method to increase people’s strength. He saved another Clan from destruction and cut the bad guys off at the source! He shows a tenacity and thought process that clearly cares for his subjects, spending his GP on livestock and farming needs.
“He built several other settlements all over the place and doesn’t go out of his way to kill people, only acting in retaliation, even when he was found outside of the den of the worst criminals known to man.
“Oh, yeah, forgot about that. See, his group isn’t only made up of literal monsters, but when they were alive, they were monsters then as well. People that belonged to the worst of the worst. Gangs, the Mafia, poachers, killers, black market, drug cartels, you name it.
“But, this means he has a diverse group and treats his subordinates with respect. Instead of raising people as soon as he found them, he created a Global Holiday against raising the dead in honor of his people’s feelings.
“The man may be slightly questionable for taking over the world, but he doesn’t hold an evil heart. Just a non-beating one. And there you have it, folks! The Top Ten of the Year is finished! Tune in next month for the Top Ten of the State!”
Soon, an alert came.
I received several hundreds of bonus GP from the Mimic, as well as some for my Units I sent out like Nemo and Buster, and the others who showed up also got GP. But…my reward for winning First Place got me several Guaranteed Super Rare item Tickets and tons of GP and Resources.
I handed out some of the Tickets to people I thought would need it. Well, Lucy, Sarah, Rebecca, and Jane were the ones I immediately thought of…but I also gave my last one to Scratch. I got a lot of requests to join the Undead Clan so I spent some time answering or rejecting.
Sarah had gotten a sort of lady bug backpack that had a special use as an Inventory that worked with normal objects! Finally, readymade mac and cheese! Just pull it out of the bag!
No, that’s Sarah’s, I can’t use it for food... She used it to hold her toys which was cool. The bag even created little bug wings that she could use to fly or shield herself with. I figured it was a well-received gift.
Rebecca had gotten a box of chocolates. Apparently, they could even enhance her Succubus powers temporarily. I don’t know what else it did since she wouldn’t tell me. However, her eyes did shine as if she had some sort of idea.

Lucy got a Quiver that could magically create arrows. Leveling Up the Quiver would allow for better arrows. She went off to practice, skipping along the way.
Jane got a…leather outfit. She teased Spot about testing it out, and he teased back, agreeing. She was actually turning red in embarrassment. I guess Spot knows her well enough. Though he did tell me that Jane was actually still a virgin. I know, it surprised me too!
Finally, Scratch got a belt. It allowed her to shoot iron strings out and grapple onto things. I was reminded of Titan killers, jumping from building to building.
I am rather happy that the broadcast finally showed how I really feel. But…Why? In one month, the people of the world could only do this much?
“It probably has to do with Humanity’s desire for control. They don’t want to let others run their life in a way they don’t want to.”
“But Navi, what about the people here?”
“They made a decision. To join and be your subject at the price of getting to use electricity. Of course, they will also grow stronger in time, thanks to your help. However, they won’t care too much if you die, they will probably submit to the next person that comes along.”
“That doesn’t sound good. What if someone takes advantage of them?!”
“Only you would be worried for people that stabbed you in the back.”
“Hmm…But why did you lie to me?”
“Because if you knew that you would have shown your face over the entire globe, would you have been so decisive in your actions of taking over?”
“Probably not.”
“See? This is for everyone on your team. If they join, good for them. If they don’t, then they either better leave or say their prayers.”
“I’m not like that. I only take care of the bad guys. And the people that attack me or my people.”
“Right. But, what happens to the people who don’t want to join you but have no power to help themselves?”
“Then I guess that’s their fault. I can’t force people to join me, after all.”
“No, but you could bribe them.”
“Don’t I do that already with the Quests and such?”
“When Sammy’s Dungeon gets completed, you will have tons of people trying to go down and finish it off. You should probably make several more Mimics and have them lead some Dungeons as well. These Dungeons will produce stronger people and can give great rewards.”
“Okay, and I can have specific types of Dungeons, like Magic Dungeons, Maze Dungeons, and even Trap Dungeons!”
“I knew you had the potential to be great.”
I spent the rest of the time forging Bone Gear and Leveling the Skill up to Level 2. Now I could enhance the effect, if there was one. For example, the Bone Gun increased its power output.
Now it was a weapon that equaled the damage of a normal pistol! Using MP, I could have more long range people. In this time, the Humans won’t fight up close and personal since everyone was pretty much raised on guns. Close combat was a thing of the past.
Unfortunately, guns were expensive from the maintenance and ammunition. But Magic Guns changed that. A renewable source of power and a simple use of the monitor allowed for anyone to easily maintain a fire arm. Even kids like Lucy and Sarah were getting more training in shooting. They just needed a lot of MP.
However, Lucy liked the bow better and it was more silent. Sarah wasn’t into fighting so I got her a special item using the Shop.
Bandages.
I got her polka dot bandages that had special recovery abilities. I wanted Sarah to learn first aid. Not so she could participate in the fight, but more of a just in case moment. We were in the middle of the apocalypse and I had no idea if something big was about to happen.
But…it has already been another week!
Chance should be in Louisiana and I now have control of over 3 and a half Regions. That last half belongs to Jeremy’s group. They have, however, finally agreed to a trade agreement with us, but refuse to talk to the Undead or Demons. And Jeremy is the only one who comes.
I offered to give him a helping hand, but he refused, saying he could handle it. I must say, I admire his effort. Although, he once saw Lucy and turned red faced.
Really? He is only eight years old!
Though I have heard of teens not even in middle school starting to date. Geez, the newer generation is weird.
Hmm…it’s about time for a report from everyone. Where’s Chance’s?

Cutting to Life: an NPC LitRPG (Battle Royale)
Nikola is an NPC in The World of Wills, a video game where players can feel sensations as if they were truly there. She leads a life of bloodshed and murder - that is, until one day she wakes up sapient. Just as she begins thinking real, non-scripted thoughts and making connections, she and the players in the game are told that if they die in the game, they die in real life - and it's time to get killing. But what of Nikola, the emerging AI consciousness? How does she win in a game that can only end in her being wiped from existence at the end of it all? - Updates Mondays and Fridays. Cutting to Life is a slow-burn LitRPG with a villainous (later anti-hero, or maybe still villainous, haha) female lead. It's told from the perspective of Nikola, an NPC within the World of Wills who's become sapient and is now mysteriously able to play the game as a PC. It's quite light for a LitRPG, but the system and stats become more of a focus later when Nikola herself can access them. The story gradually builds into a Battle Royale where the players' lives are on the line (if you die in the game, you die in real life), and only one party of savvy adventurers can win. They'll have to spend their time and stats wisely as dungeons promising rare gear float down from the sky - but is a legendary sword worth killing someone for, knowing they'll stay dead forever? - This story is told in third person, past tense.- This is a slow-burn LitRPG that spends a lot of time establishing its setting and characters, because I believe this will make for a better payoff in the end. As such, the Battle Royale doesn't start until chapter 30 or so.- Chapters are anywhere between 800 words and 3000 words long.- Book cover by Vixeona.Cutting to Life is also being posted on SPB and Scribble Hub.Thank you sincerely for reading.

Having a Common Game Ability In Normal Life
As long as i can remember, i can see something other people can't see Yes, on the top right of my vision, i have something that looks like a map, does it useful? how does something that blocks 1/32 of my vision to be useful? Does it have to be useful.. right? As i get older, this looks like "mini-map" in a video game that i played, so i decided to call this Mini-map at least I'm not the only one with this kind of thing.. from what I've found, everyone has different ability, for example my little sister can see another person status, there's a person that can heal wounds by eating meat, there's a person that once a day can spin roulette to get reward, there's a person that can jump twice in the air and there's a person that can throw fireballs..... wait a minute!? the story will be slow, since i just write this to train my english anyhow the idea of this story will be if someone can throw a fireball does their hand burns? if someone can jump for 30m can they survive the fall? if a bard play a song that can regen their allies, why’s the enemy isn’t regenerating? if a cleris creates a barrier can their allies attack from inside barrier? and About the first few chapter i know the grammar was really bad but it’ll help me if you guys read the first few chapter and go straight to the last and tell me have i improve or not P.S i hope The world has “common language” feature so everyone speak in the same tongue lol
