“Fu fu fu little bahamut is angry”(Leblanc)

“grrrrrr, FINE! I’LL FLY OVER TO THE DEMON CONTINENT, AND TELL EVERYONE THAT YOU ARE HIDING IN MY DOMAIN!”(Bahamut)

“ok ok, I’ll stop and rest a bit. You can’t even take a joke”(Leblanc)

“sigh... If it wasn’t for the damn prophecy, I wouldn’t have let you in my domain”(Bahamut)

“RAAAAAAAAAA” Bahamut flew out of his domain, and started firing his breath at the ocean.

Leblanc, the world’s best magical engineer. But it all started 2000 years ago when she was able to sneak in to the Human Continent. In the past she simply wanted to look at the other continent, she was merely curious. At that time she stumbled upon a group of strong mercenaries and was almost killed, she was able to survive with the help of another human who was surprisingly one of her father’s friend. At that time she started to get interested in that man, she idolized the man that saved her. It may just be a fluke, and the man was obviously weaker, but she was still saved by that man.

Little by little, she started to like Peol, the human that saved her. Her powers started to awaken while she was staying with him, and with Peol’s help she was able to master using her new found powers. She enjoyed every moment with Peol, and started to fall in love. She knew that a human’s life span was small, if she became closer with Peol, then she will only get hurt. It was better to leave him, but it was also hard to be away from the one she loved. Her thoughts started to conflict themselves, one says to stay away since they can never be together, and the other says to stay with Peol even if it is just as a friend.

Demon’s rarely celebrated their birthday, but since Leblanc started living with Peol, she was able to celebrate it every year. At a certain birthday, Peol started to act strange. Peol was obviously hiding something from her, and it was something that scared her. Maybe the man didn’t want her by his side any longer. As she began to get confused, Peol suddenly kneeled and took out a ring. Peol suddenly proposed to her, after thinking for a few moments tears of happiness suddenly flowed down her cheeks.

“I know we are from different races, and I know it is kinda sudden but, I love you. I have always loved you since I first saw you, I forced myself not to propose since you were the dauther of my friend but... I just can’t contine living while ignoring my true feelings”(Peol)

“...”Leblanc contineud to cry.

“Will you marry me? Even if I am a human? Even if we are ages apart?”(Peol)

“yes, I do” Leblanc suddenly hugged Peol.

“with my remaining lifespan, I will make you the happiest Demon that lived on this planet.”(Peol)

After that, they simply put a ring on their fingers. They can’t officially get married since the humans will probably stop them, or worse, they might even kill her.

On their first night, while their mood just started to heat up, they suddenly heard a noise.

“We know you are hiding a demon here” A man suddenly started throwing sticks with fire on the house.

“Leblanc you need to get out, you remember the secret passage right?”(Peol)

“Let’s go together”(Leblanc)

“If I don’t close the passage then they will find you, the only way to close it is to push it from the outside”(Peol)

“b...but”(Leblanc)

“Please, I promise I’ll follow you. I’ll just have a little talk with them, if they can’t find you here then they have no evidence, and they have no right to do anything to me right?”(Peol)

“...”(Leblanc)

“stop worrying and just believe in me”(Peol)

“you’ll follow me ok? You promise?”(Leblanc)

“of course, I don’t want to be away from my wife before we even had our hot passionate night” Peol smirked.

“pervert...pft”(Leblanc)

“ok, just go to the passage”(Peol)

Leblanc successfully got out of the house, but Peol never came for her. When she came back, the house was burned, and the corpse of her husband was still fresh. The body was cut to pieces and burned. She cried, for a day, for a week, until a human saw her. In her rage she discharged a bolt of lightning to the man. She blindly started attacking all human in the vicinity, she experimented on the fools that killed her husband, and was able to find a way to control their brains using electricity.

She slowly made people with authority, her puppets. After a year she was now controlling most of the kingdom’s nobles, she still detested them, so she made them attack their allied kingdom. She happily watched as the 2 friendly kingdoms destroyed each other, and made quick work on what remained of the kingdom.

Even after all that, she still felt empty. What was the point of killing them if she can’t have Peol back? She started experimenting on how to create life, and was the first in history to ever make an artificial being, the homonculus. She was able to create the perfect copy of Peol, yet it wasn’t the same person. She continuesly destroyed and created copies of Peol, but in the end, she didn’t get close to getting her husband back.

Angred at the results, she went to a place where dragons live. If she can control the dragon then she can use them to exterminate the humans that took her loved one. She no longer cared if her father didn’t want it, she simply doesn’t know where to put all of her stress on. While continuesly killing dragons and making them in to her puppets, she stumbled upon the strongest dragon, Dragon Emperor Bahamut. She was easily overpowered and lost, she no longer cared. If she died then maybe she can see Peol again, she closed her eyes but the finishing blow never came.

“Demon, the prophecy tells me that you are needed in the future.”(Bahamut)

“kill me, please kill me... there is no point, I no longer know what I am doing.”(Leblanc)

“Demon, I don’t know what happened, but you need to get a hold of yourself. If you die know, then everything will get destroyed.”(Bahamut)

“...”(Leblanc)

“Before you think of anything, allow me to tell you a story”(Bahamut)

Bahamut started telling about 6 entities that were born at the same time as the world. They were not gods, yet called themselves as one. He doesn’t know the reason but, the 6 entities, always attacks every 100 thousand years. The 6 always left the dragons alone, but he didn’t know the reason why. It is not that the 6 can’t defeat them, even if all the dragons attack together they can only be a match to one of the so called gods. Since they were not really a target, the dragons stayed quiet every time the gods attacked. They continued to live peacefully until a day when the world tree at the elven continent gave a prophecy. The 6 gods will finally make a move, they will kill every race in this world. The prophecy also told them that the dragons need to protect a certain purple haired demon that would go in to their domain. The demon would be the key to defeating one of the gods.

“I am not sure if you are the one, but you are the first demon in a thousand years to actually set foot in my domain”(Bahamut)

“...”(Leblanc)

“You are the key to save everyone in the world”(Bahamut)

“I don’t care, what’s the point of this world if Peol isn’t by my side, please just kill me”(Leblanc)

“... maybe you aren’t the one, if don’t care about the world, then how can you be the one to kill a god?” Bahamut fired a spell on her and burned her body.

“took you a while... sorry for not keeping my promise”(???)

“PEOL!” Leblanc hugged him.

“I waited for a few years in this place, normally a soul can’t do this, but a voice told me I needed to wait for you”(Peol)

“I missed you”(Leblanc)

“sorry, but I want you to stay alive for a bit more time”(Peol)

“why? Do you not want to be with me?”(Leblanc)

“it’s not that, I want you to save the world”(Peol)

“I hate the world! They took you away from me!”(Leblanc)

“... it is selfish of me but, please save the world”(Peol)

“I don’t want to, I want to stay with you forever”(Leblanc)

Peol hugged her.

“Leblanc, I love you”(Peol)

“I love you too”(Leblanc)

“I am sorry but I am taking your memories of me to the afterlife... You will no longer remember anything about me...”(Peol)

“WHY?”(Leblanc)

“... I want you to save the world, and live happily after that. You lifespan is a lot longer than mine, and I am sure you will find another person in the future”(Peol)

“...no wait...please...don’t...” Leblanc slowly closed her eyes as her strength left her body.

“I am sorry, I don’t know what kind of future you have but it is probably better than dying now.”(Peol)

Leblanc woke up inside a cave.

“You are awake, little demon”(Bahamut)

“... what happened? I am pretty sure you killed me”(Leblanc)

“A ball of purple lightning suddenly covered you body and blocked my attack, there are only a few that could do that.”(Bahamut)

“oh...I see”(Leblanc)

“I will ask you again, do you want to save the world?”(Bahamut)

“sure, why not”(Leblanc)

“... that was quick, could you tell me the reason for the sudden change of heart?”(Bahamut)

“dunno... I just feel a little empty inside, probably just bored, and saving the world sounds interesting, so count me in”(Leblanc)

“sigh... I don’t know what happened, but I guess this is good”(Bahamut)

I still feel empty... need to find something interesting.

Little did Bahamut know that he just made the biggest mistake of his life, he let someone that would always give him headache, a chance to live. After that, Leblanc’s attitude slowly changed in to what it is now.

“... good, but you should rest a bit”(Bahamut)

“No time to rest, creating the perfect mana crystal is a lot more interesting than sleeping”(Leblanc)

“sigh... just listen to me for a bit, I am a friggin Dragon Emperor you know...”(Bahamut)

“you are interesting before, but after being with you for more than a thousand years, you are now bland to me”(Leblanc)

“... fine, do what you want. You never listen to me, even though I am a dragon emperor, even though I am older...” Bahamut sulked for a few weeks after that.
