Frith and the 3 sisters are now a few kilometers away from the capital of the ice continent.

“looks like it was a success”(Frith)

I only have 5% of my mana remaining, it would take 3-4 days to fully recover

“i could feel that there is a massive decrease in your mana, this is the best time to take you down”(Selene)

What? He quickly summoned his gauntlets.

“just kidding...pft”(Selene)

“i would never attack you” Agnessed clinged on to his arm

He quickly turned his eyes to Lily Matah.

“what? I won’t attack you”(Lily Matah)

“well anyways let’s make our way to the capital”(Selene)

After Selene’s words they all started running to the capital, inside the capital there were a lot of houses made of ice. 70% of the population are fishmen and 25% are demons, 5% are a mix of different races such as dwarves and beastmen. The citizen showed respect to them, each and everyone seemed to be happy that selene is back.

When they entered the castle they were welcomed by a demon and 2 fishmen.

“welcome back lady Selene, and welcome visitors”(Guards)

Selene waved to them and continue to go inside the castle, she guided them to the guest rooms.

“you could use any room you want, for now i will go to the core room and refill the mana of the continent”(Selene)

“how long will it take?”(Frith)

“i would have to give most of my mana everyday for 1 month”(Selene)

“is it ok if i help you out after i recover my mana?”(Frith)

“... if it is ok with you, actually it is good if you help me”(Selene)

“what about your sisters?”(Frith)

“if they don’t like it then they don’t have to, you are all guest and i do not want to force you to help me”(Selene)

“I will help”(Agness)

“m...me too”(Lily Matah)

“... ok then both of you follow me, Frith you should rest for now since you still haven’t recovered your mana”(Selene)

Frith was now inside a room, he was currently lying on the bed. Everything inside the room were made of ice, his bed was made out of soft snow. To fight against the cold he used a spell to block any temparature from entering his body.

So after our trip here we will go to the human continent next, i wonder how the guys in the empire are. I hope the other 2 hero aren’t slacking of.

While thinking he could sense a tremendous aura moving to the capital at a blinding speed.

What?

Frith went out of the room and quickly ran outside, while running he met the other 3.

“what’s that?” Frith pointed at the direction where the aura was coming from.

“i don’t know”(Selene)

“tsk, it just had to happen while i didn’t have my mana”(Frith)

“i’ll go and check where that aura is coming from”(Selene)

“DON’T”(Frith, Agness & Lily Matah)

“what ever it is, it is dangerous until we can identify if it is an enemy or not”(Frith)

“maybe it is the other heroes like you”(Selene)

“no, unlike me they are normal. It is impossible for them to get that amount of power”(Frith)

“what do we do now?” Selene was getting agitated. There is an unknown entity in her continent who is as strong is Frith and she doesn’t know if they can stop it if it was an enemy.

“damn it, for now i will enter a special spell. I will spend a week inside the abyss but it will only look like i am gone for an hour here. I want you guys to atleast prolong the fight until i could get back, i just hope we are jumping to conclusions and that the one moving here is not an enemy”(Frith)

“... we will”(Selene)

Selene and the others started buffing themselves up

“[Dimensional Rift: Abyss]”(Frith)

As he casted the spell he was swallowed by darkness.

(Selene’s POV)

As Frith’s body was swallowed Selene could feel the enemy getting closer.

“LADY SELENE! Please get away from here” (Guards)

“what are you doing here? Get back to your post”(Selene)

“there is no time for that, even you could feel the power right? Please get away from here while you still can”(Guards)

“i won’t abandon my country, and even if i did i am pretty sure that who ever is letting out that aura can catch up to me” Selene started casting a spell.

“Agness, Lily Matah are you ready?”(Selene)

Both Agness and Lily Matah nodded.

“if you want to back out, this is the last chance”(Selene)

“come on, we are not little kids anymore. We will fight to death, and just as you said it is not like we can run away”(Lily Matah)

“i will protect this place until Frith returns, i don’t care who i have to fight”(Agness)

“ok then let’s go [Ice spear]”(Selene)

Spears suddenly formed under their feet and pushed them upwards, using the momentum all three of them dashed to where the aura is comming from.

I don’t know if we could win... i just hope Frith could get here before thing gets bad

The citizens didn’t run away, in fact all of them are armed. They all have serious eyes, and didn’t show any fear. The 3 of them were now at the gate of the capital waiting for the enemy.

“what are you guys doing here? Hurry up and hide”(Selene)

“we won’t run away, we will fight to death for this country”(Citizen 1)

“that’s right, we will help you”(Citizen 2)

“thank you for the thought but the 3 of us are enough, please don’t throw away your life”(Selene)

“we won’t let the ruler fight alone, we will die first before anyone could lay a hand on you”(Citizen 1)

“it’s ok, i don’t plan on dying today. The 3 of us will just hold back the enemy and wait for reinforcement, don’t worry that reinforcement is strong enough to fight against who ever this enemy is” Selene showed them a warm smile.

“if that is what you wish... but don’t forget if you ever need help the whole capital will be your reinforcement, come everyone let’s go back”(Citizen 1)

As the enemy got closer the 3 of them could slightly feel fear.

To think that we tried to attack someone as strong as that, how laughable

“Ok we just need to hold the enemy back for 55 more minutes”(Selene)

They could see a figure of a person running towards them.

“It’s here!”(Selene)

The 3 of them poised their body for battle, Selene started casting spells.

“[Absolute Zero] “(Selene)

Unlike before, the power of the spell is a lot stronger. It instantly froze everything in front of them but the enemy easily got away.

Agness sent out a barrage of compressed Hellfire and Lily Dashed while gathering mana on her fist. Using Agness’ spell as a cover she hid behind the spell and moved towards the enemy.

“[Fist of Annihilation]”(Lily Matah)

Lily Matah was able to hit the enemy, the enemy went flying but stood up like nothing happened.

“looks like the mortals have created some strong soldiers to stop us this time, sadly it is not enough ahahaha. Even strong insects are still insects”(Vel Dah)

The enemy suddenly dissapeared in front of their eyes, before they could notice it the enemy was already behind Selene.

“ice magic eh, looks like you are the one who created this continent” The enemy pierced her shoulder and threw her upwards.

“it is better to take the mage out first, common knowledge even a million years ago ahahahaha”(Vel Dah)

While Selene was circling in the air the enemy sent out spears made of ice towards her, she used her wings to change her direction.

“i forgot you had wings” The enemy appeared from behind Selene and pulled one of her wings, he started pulling the other wing but was stopped by Lily Matah.

“DAMN YOU!” Lily Matah punched the enemy but this time it was blocked. The enemy caught her attack and used her body to hit Selene which sent them both to the ground.

“little insects without wings should stay on the ground”(Vel Dah)

“[Flames of Destruction]”(Agness)

A black flame pillar suddenly extended from below and burned the enemy, suddenly the pillar froze. The enemy then sent the a ball of ice towards Agness which broke her leg.

“H...he froze a 9-tier flame spell?”(Lily Matah)

Before Lily Matah noticed it she was punched and was sent flying.

“Lily!”(Selene)

“you should focus on yourself, look you didn’t notice i was already here” The enemy kicked Selene in the face and was sent flying.

“that was fun, looks like only an insect that could create flames is left” The enemy turned his gaze to Agness.

Agness’ body shivered, the enemy dashed to her and punched her stomach. But the punch didn’t hit anything and he suddenly got sent flying.

“hahaha a mirage, you have quite some good moves for an insect” Before the enemy noticed it he was punched on the head and was sent flying to the wall of the capital.

“[ICICLE STORM]”(Selene)

Selene and Agness sent a barrage of spell to the enemy, and while the enemy was under fire Lily was raising her hands and gathering mana.

“get away! [WORLD’S END]”(Lily Matah)

Lily Matah sent a massive black orb towards the enemy, the black orb ate everything in its path and stopped a few meters from where the enemy is.

“did we get him?”(Lily Matah)

While talking an ice blade was release towards each of them. Agness ‘s elbow got cut, Selene’s leg was cut and Lily’s shoulder gut cut off. Agness fainted from blood loss and Lily Matah quickly ran to her to protect her.

“Y...YOU! HOW DARE YOU DAMAGE ME!”(Vel Dah)

The enemy’s body was missing an arm and a leg, after a few moments his body instantly healed.

“YOU SHOULD JUST HAPPILY ACCEPT YOU DEATH!”(Vel Dah)

The enemy suddenly transformed into a huge serpent.

“I AM VEL DAH, GOD OF THE SEAS! ONE OF THE 6 ENTITIES THAT WERE BORN AT THE SAME TIME AS THIS WORLD! I AM ABSOLUTE!”(Vel Dah)

The ground vibrated as Vel Dah roared.

The 3 of them were beat up, especially Selene.

“40...m...more m...minutes”(Selene)

The serpent suddenly start gathering mana on its mouth.

This is bad i need to atleast protect the 2 of them before Frith comes back

The enemy released a blast from its mouth and easily erased everything in its path, just before the attack Selene was able to push both of her sisters away from the blast.

When Lily Matah opened her eyes, she saw that half of Selene’s body was gone.

“SISTER”(Lily Matah)

“r...run a...away”(Selene)

While Selene was telling Lily to run away, the serpent opened its mouth and tried to eat her.

I guess this is how i die... i wasn’t even able to stall for 30 minutes

She closed her eyes and smiled towards Lily Matah and the fainted Agness.

Am i dead? I could no longer feel any pain

While she was thinking she could her the voice of Lily Matah calling her

I told you to run away! Why are you still here?

As selene opened her eyes she could see a peacefully sleeping Agness and a fully healed Lily Matah. Lily Matah hugged her when she opened her eyes.

“im so glad” Tears were flowing out of Lily Matah’s eyes.

“THAT POWER! I HAVE NEVER SEEN YOU BEFORE! WHEN DID ANOTHER GOD APPEAR IN THIS WORLD?”(Vel Dah)

When Selene tried to look, she saw Frith standing in front of her.

“sorry for being late, it’s ok i’ll take care of this now” Frith smiled gently towards her.

Frith turned around to look at the enemy, a hole made of darkness suddenly appeared behind the enemy. Frith dashed to the enemy and pushed it into the hole.

“i’ll be back, in 3 days, It would really be good if food is ready when i come back” Frith smiled at her and entered the hole.

(Frith’s POV)

Inside the Abyss.

“WHY IS A GOD HELPING THE MORTALS? WHO ARE YOU?”(Vel Dah)

“look i am not a god, anyways it’s only normal to introduce yourself first before asking for the name of others”(Frith)

“I AM VEL DAH, GOD OF THE SEAS! IF YOU LET ME OUT RIGHT NOW THEN I WILL FORGIVE YOU! I WOULD EVEN LET YOU JOIN US AND RULE THE WORLD”(Vel Dah)

“nice to meet you Vel Dah” Frith’s face started to shift from expressionless to anger. “i am Frith Runeore, Savior of 9 worlds” he summoned his gauntlets

“YOU HAVE ANGERED ME AND YOU WILL PAY THE PRICE! [MAD GOD’S BLOOD]”

His eyes and hair turned red, red lines started to show up on his body. Red aura was leaking out of his body and his gauntlet also turned crimson red.

[Gauntlet Of The Mad God obtained]

“RAI WIR DESTROY YOU” Frith’s voice vibrated through out the abyss.
