(Hinata’s POV)

30 minutes after running out of the ogre’s den. Hinata was currently brooding over the fact that she was shaken by the aura of the enemy, she was obviously stronger than Henry yet she was the one running away. She knew that what Henry told her was right, if one of them is gonna survive then the one with better talent should live but there was still a lot of guilt and sadness while thinking that Henry sacrificed himself.

This was supposed to be our first mission, why did it have to turn out like this?

Even though she had to survive like Henry said, she still wanted to go back and help him. She forced herself to just run back to the palace and get some reinforcement, even though it would obviously be too late. Her mind was clouded with the sudden turn of events.

Suddenly the intimidating aura of the enemy was catching up to her at an incredible speed.

Henry…

If the enemy was already running towards her then that only means that the enemy already killed Henry. Hinata resolved herself to shake off the enemy following her, she shouldn’t waste Henry’s sacrifice. She forced her feet to move faster even though she was already at her full speed.

“WAIT!”(???)

She ignored the call of the enemy.

“TAKE THIS GUY BEFORE YOU GO BACK!” The voice was getting closer.

Hinata still ignored the call of the enemy.

It is obviously a trap.

The enemy was getting closer and closer, after a few moments the enemy was behind her

…sorry Henry, looks like I would have to fight her Hinata’s body started to shiver due to the enemy’s aura but was able to suppress it.

While thinking, enemy suddenly jumped in front of her.

“I told you to wait, am I that scary?”(???)

She summoned her axe but after a few moments she realized that the enemy was carrying Henry’s body. Seeing the fainted body of Henry she suddenly began to get angry, she was angry before but now there was an extreme amount of rage inside her body.

How dare you drag Henry’s corpse around

Her axe started to change. The handle was still the same but unlike before the blade part was only at one side and it now has a crimson red color.

“hey hey don’t look at me like that, you should listen to me or else I will kill this guy” The enemy pointed at Henry

She stopped moving and observed Henry’s body. Seeing that the body was still breathing her anger slowly faded.

H…he is still alive?

“I am just here to give this guy to you, don’t worry I don’t plan on doing anything more than that. Well if you want to fight using that new axe of yours then I guess I could spare a few more minutes fu fu fu”(???)

“n…no, I won’t fight” She answered without moving her eyes off Henry.

“Ok then, here catch” The hooded person threw Henry’s body towards her.

“w…wait” She released her axe and opened her arms to catch Henry.

“Ok then gotta go, See you later!” The hooded person started to run, Hinata didn’t look at the hooded person and simply gazed at Henry who was now on her arms.

Tears began to flow out of her eyes, she then hugged Henry.

I am so glad that you are still alive

Hinata went to city while holding Henry in a princess carry.

Inn, an Inn, were is the Inn? She started running on top of the houses while looking for a place to stay in. A few people noticed her and started waving their hands although she just ignored them.

After a few moments of running on top of houses she was able to find an Inn.

After getting a room, Hinata put Henry’s body on the bed. Since she was still a bit confused she took a room with a single bed. The owner of the Inn wanted to know what happened to them but she told him they need to rest first.

We are finally safe… ouch

Her body started to hurt, she used her ability for about an hour when she could only use it for 5 minutes. She sat down at the chair and tried to relax her body but her whole body started to go numb. She was starting to get sleepy but before sleeping she looked at Henry.

We can sleep peacefully now right? She slowly closed her eyes while looking at Henry and went to sleep.

(Frith’s POV)

*bang* The door at Frith’s room opened.

“Hero! Your breakfast is ready”(Lily Matah)

Because of the sound he quickly woke up.

“…”He stared at Lily Matah

Lily Matah put the tray on to the table and started walking out of the room like nothing happened but before she could get out Selene appeared in front of her.

“what are you doing?”(Selene)

Frith started eating while ignoring the 2.

“I delivered the food”(Lily Matah)

“sigh… I told you to deliver the food not break the door”(Selene)

“but… you already know I hate him yet you are still giving me errands that will make me meet him”(Lily Matah)

“I am doing this so you could get used to seeing him, and didn’t we already discuss this? Both of Agness and I already accepted what happened before”(Selene)

Ah what a peaceful day it is Frith continued eating his breakfast.

“why does it looks like I am at fault?”Stomped on the ground while stretching both of her arms downwards

“sigh… I guess it would take a while for you to forgive him, I didn’t know you were this immature”(Selene)

“…” Lily Matah turned her head towards the ground.

This biscuit is good

“sigh… come with me Lily”(Selene)

“Ok”(Lily Matah)

“Oh before that” Selene turned her gaze to Frith “The picnic will start 4 hours from now”

“Ok”(Frith)

Selene then went out of the door followed by Lily Matah who glared at him before leaving the room.

Frith was feeling great, the friendship is settled and everything that will happen from now on will be new to him. He no longer has to rush defeating the demon lord nor does he have to worry about being transported to another world, everything he has planned wasn’t needed in this world.

Now that I think about it this world is much more peaceful than the other worlds

In the first 9 worlds the demon lords won’t listen to him. Each of the demon lord in those worlds had a goal and that goal doesn’t include him being alive, in this world everything went smoothly. On the same day he defeated the demon lord he was able to establish a friendly relationship with the 2 sisters, and now on the 11th day he was invited to a picnic.

So what do I do now? I haven’t thought of anything after this…

While thinking he sensed someone staring at him.

Tsk I let my guard down… He looked at the door which was slightly opened.

“um… do you need something from me?”(Frith)

“ I just wanted to tell you that the picnic will start 3 hours from now” Agness entered the room.

“ah, ok”(Frith)

Agness walked towards him and sat on the bed “you said that you came all the way here from the other continent just to see me right?”

“um…yes, I went here to become friends with you”(Frith)

“I see, and you started your journey just a few days ago right?”(Agness)

“…yes”(Frith)

Why is she asking me this?

“I heard that you were summoned 11 days ago. Excluding your stay here… that means your started your journey 10 days ago”(Agness)

“no, I started my journey 8 days ago”(Frith)

“so you travelled from the human continent to the demon capital in just 8 days to meet me right?”(Agness)

“yes”(Frith)

“that’s good” Agness smiled towards him and started heading out of the room.

I answered honestly but something doesn’t feel right, well for now I should think about other things. I need to make sure that I don’t destroy the current friendship I have with the 2… I wonder what I have to do to make Lily my friend though.

Since he was first summoned he did nothing but train and fight, he was treated as an important person in all 9 worlds and wasn’t able to make friends except for a few individuals. When he realized that he was in a loop he directed all of his attention in to getting out of it, as of know he doesn’t know much about the world except for things that he needs as a hero.

Ah I could get some information from the hero interface, it should have a bit of information about this world… now that I have time I guess I could start reading from it.

Tsk, what’s a server? And how do I even speak with this Karl person? Is this ring broken…wait if this ring is broken then I will have a really big problem. At least the language translation is working properly…

Frith was currently sitting on a chair, while he was thinking someone knocked on the door.

“You may enter”(Frith)

Agness entered the room while holding a thin book.

“Here, this is my favorite book” Agness gave the book to him.

“what is this book about?”(Frith)

“not telling, you should read it” Agness went to his bed and sat down.

“e…ah… ok” Frith opened the book and started reading

There is a big picture and only a small amount of words… I can’t read it though

“sorry but I still can’t read this world’s language”(Frith)

“ah”(Agness)

“If it is ok with you then would you mind telling me the story in this book”(Frith)

Agness nodded and sat on his lap

Um why is she sitting on my lap?

“um you don’t have to sit on my lap”(Frith)

“NO!”(Agness)

“if your sisters sees this, they will get angry at me”(Frith)

“Don’t worry, they are busy arranging our food for the picnic”(Agness)

Sigh…I guess there is no harm in letting her do what she wants for now, is this how it feels to have a little sister?

“The story is about a demon princess, she was strong and beautiful. Because of her powers everyone feared her, she was sad and lonely. She wished for someone to be with her, one day a Hero came”(Agness)

Sounds a bit like our situation, except that the one on the story is a princess while she is a demon lord

“The hero came to defeat the demon princess to save his own race, they both fought and the demon princess was defeated. The hero was about to kill the demon princess but stopped when he noticed how beautiful the princess was”(Agness)

Isn’t this supposed to be the time her father steps in? and why would he stop just because his enemy is pretty?

“After understanding each other they fell in love. After a year, they married and lived happily ever after” Agness turned her gaze towards him.

“My father was the one who made this book, he always read this story to me when I was little”(Agness)

“uh…ok”(Frith)

I really have a bad feeling about this

“You didn’t kill me because you thought I was pretty right? do you like me? Will you marry me like what happened in the story?”(Agness)
