The next morning the pups were let out of the hut for a little air but Hider didn’t come out. The keeper, realizing something was wrong went into the hut to see what was wrong. The man screamed at the sight of Hider’s back leg. it was twisted, mangled and covered in blood and the tiger pup was clearly unconscious. The man knelt down and rang the vet, meanwhile Hunter and Howler were watching this from the door, Hider wasn’t really injured, Hunter had twisted his leg last night in a way so that he could easily twist it back and she had made a little cut on his leg so it looked like his leg was broken.

“Is he going to be alright?” Howler asked Hunter

“Yes, we just need to get out and give him the signal,” Hunter replied,

15 minutes later, the vet had arrived and was going to cut Hider’s leg open to fix it meanwhile Hunter and Howler were pretending to be hungry. Before the vet began on Hider he waited for the keeper to give the whining Hunter and Howler food. So the man came into the outer-door but forgot to shut the gate so when he entered their pen and Hunter and Howler seemed to be running towards the food they leaped over the keeper and out through both open gates. As they legged it Howler let out a howl that deafened humans and was a signal for Hider to join them. Hider heard this and leaped up off the table. As they vanished into the distance the keeper just ran his fingers through his hair and smiled,

“They truly are wild animals.”
