Howler awoke the next morning to find Darka outside the cavern,
“Don’t be scared Howler, I am going to train you to become a Hunter, follow me,” and with that Darka strolled down over the cavern ledge with Howler close behind him.
They came to an open clearing just in view of the cavern ledge, First Darka tout Howler what to eat and what not to eat and what animals are dangerous and what animals are not, then Darka showed him how to silently creep up on prey and suddenly jump out on them. They practised this on a bird and Howler failed dramatically. Then, after they had done it again and again and again and finally Howler got there. When they sat down to have a rest Darka told howler of what a dark, terrible world lay beyond the forest, and Darka told him how only the strongest and bravest could survive there. Darka had just finish telling him this when Howler spotted some orange and black stripes from inside a cave underneath the cavern ledge.
Suddenly a tiger jumped out hurtling it’s self at Howler,.Darka jumped over Howler and met the tiger in mid-air, together they crashed to the ground when Howler heard his name being called from the cavern ledge in great worry, he ran up into his mothers arms not looking back at Darka or the tiger.
Minutes went by, but they didn’t feel like minutes they felt like hours, and after the terrifying wait Darka came limping up the cavern ledge only to collapse on the cavern floor with a deep gash down his back, and before anyone thought it could not get any worst then came the even worst news for Tarran came running and said,
“Lion’s, Lion’s are coming up on the north side and there are about 20 of them,” from that single sentence Howler could see the terror in his parent’s eyes,

Now it was early evening and the lions were closing in on them,
“Get inside,” Twilight said in a low voice to Howler,
“I’m not leaving you,” Twilight glared at Howler but stood up and in-front of him as 20 lions walked up onto the ledge and started circling them. Howler kept close to his dad but a lion suddenly leapt into the pack of wolves, that must have been a signal because all then all the other 19 lions started attacking also.
Howler was aware of the blur of lions attacking his pack, the sound of claws digging into bloody flesh and then it all went black.

Fragments from the Wildlands
“Your first death is always the hardest.” Miguela was the third-born child of a well-off merchant family and knew from around the time she could speak that her life’s path was already decided. She was to become an Orator, as was Xandran tradition. However, Miguela had an affinity with the magikal arts and somehow found herself studying at the Academy. She did just enough to keep up with her studies but never found the motivation to apply herself and “reach her potential,” as her instructors often said. It was not that Miguela was uninterested in the arts. Rather, she knew her time at the Academy ultimately did not matter. Whenever Miguela returned home, she would become an Orator, and that would be that. Or so she believed until, one day, an opportunity appeared that would change her life. Miguela was offered the chance to join a research team tasked with a mission of the utmost importance to the future of the Five Kingdoms. She could not turn down the prospect of regaining control of her life and finally finding a purpose for herself. Of course, Miguela might soon discover that offers that appear too good to be true are usually fraught with lies. Welcome to Five Kingdoms of Cordizal! Question: What is the Five Kingdoms of Cordizal? I often get asked this type of question about my stories by friends, bloggers, and potential readers. The Five Kingdoms of Cordizal is a high-fantasy epic universe that is the setting for most of my stories. The foundation of the universe is its multicultural, multiracial setting with several sentient races attempting to carve their legacy and survive. The world is fully fleshed out and vibrant with a rich and mysterious history not based on Tolkien mythology. This brings me to magic. To me, magic is an essential part of the fantasy genre, so, of course, there is magic in the Five Kingdoms universe. However, one critical part of the Five Kingdoms universe is that magic is an abundant commodity that is a part of everyday life and not some plot device used to drive the story. In short, the Five Kingdoms universe is the setting of epic fantasy stories with deep characters and world-building. I try to tell as many different types of stories as possible in the universe, and hopefully, you can find something for you in it.

The Ancient Tree's Journey
On a planet far away from Earth, an ancient tree lives inside a beautiful forest. When the tree realises that its life is coming to an end, it creates a seed without a soul. The seed begins a long journey, being passed from person to person, until it finally collides with the soul of a girl from Earth and sprouts. With her human knowledge, the girl tries to survive in this world... as a tree. Note: This is my first time writing a novel, so my writing style might be a little rough around the edges sometimes, especially the first twelve are still amateur style. I'll probably rewrite them at some point... later perhaps. Also, the MC will be introduced in chapter 13. The first twelve chapters are more of an introduction to the world, so they bear little significance to the main story. Still, I recommend reading it if you want to get a better view of the world. Chapter releases once every four days.

This is a story of enchantment and progression. There is only one faith; one that each individual follows in their heart. There is only one spirituality; one that each person views the world with. Follow Siyu Grey on his story of world exploration and his attempt to fulfill his purpose in a story that is much greater in scope than he can perceive alone. Also, just a note. I edit this as I go, so the version you see might not be what it settles as.

A Fate Shaped by Magick
This fiction was (and is) published on fanfiction dot net under the same title; though as I slowly transfer it to here, I am editing and smoothing it. This story takes place in the Elder Scrolls (TES) Universe mostly ending up in Morrowind. This is a slice of life meant to answer the questions of how (in the TES universe) do mages study and learn, and exploring some of the in-game differences between TES 2 and 3. This book has minimal spoilers for the Morrowind main quest and does not fully explore it. If you think that giant insects would make cool pets - if you like the idea of exploring magic NOT intended simply as killing something better, faster or more gore-ridden, then come on in and enjoy.
