Alright people (or stacked animals in trench coats; I dont judge.) All of my main finals are finished, and the only one I have left is basically a breeze, you know what that means: EDITING will be taking place.
TL;DR-
Editing will be copleted by June 1
Moving to a softer litRPG style, removing stats EXP and abilities.
changing currency to coinage alone.
Some character descriptions may change.
Going to attempt to update story with Char bios, and other important tidbits.

I'm hoping to have the complete story edited and ready by the end of may; I'd like to have it sooner, but I've got a couple of kids and between the one doing baseball, and the other being in marching I figured a more appropriete goal should be set, even if it's further away than I would like.
I do have a few short stories that I will be posting up either loosely related, or completely non related to HTL. I'm not going to give a release schedule on those because they're things I have been working on here and there since I started HTL and are a good way to pull myself out of it to get a more abjective view.
I'm compiling a list of things I plan to change on my white board but I think the main takeaway, and the reason the story will be taking longer than I wanted it to is because I am going to pull out some of the 'game mechanics' and might move out of the litRPG arena entirely. I will be revamping the 'economy' by removing EXP as a spendable currency and going with coinage as the main. I may also be changing some of the character descriptions.
As I move through the Editing process I'm going to try and keep anyone following me abreast of what I'm doing I.E. I'll be uploading character BIOs, currency sheets, and anything else I think might make it easier to follow throughout the story. I'm basically going to do it so that I have a glossary at the end of the book for people to go through and see character relations/ clearifications on some things. I'm not releasing the full BIOs there, I dont want to give too much away.

I'm also chewing on the idea of having someone draw me up maps for reference. I'd like to have them so people can reference who/what is where, maybe putting in what GODS are connected to what places etc.

Tales of the Old World Demon Lord
1984 had indeed come, however it was 100 years late. In 2084 a man named [Sovereign] had taken control of the entire globe and the destiny of Humanity itself was in his hands. More than three centuries ago, the Great Mage, Arcius, Performed the single greatest feat a magician can accomplish, he looked into the future, and discovered his fate. In his visions, he discovered his reincarnation, to become a Dungeon. Desiring to rise to great heights again, even in his new life, he spent the remaining centuries he had researching and studying the strange beings called Dungeons, and devising a spell that would allow him to retain his memories. However, the very act of knowing what is to come can often be enough to alter Destiny. Impressed at the Mage's efforts, an ancient, powerful being, the Creator of Gods, has now chosen him, to become one of the Dungeon Gods of a new world in a new segment of reality. Their directive, to bring life to this new world. Follow him, as he brings forth the knowledge his efforts awarded him, and pits it against his unprepared competitors, in a bid to be the first to create sentient life. This is my first full on story, and is mostly going to be a learning experience for me. It is going to be a story following the life of Arcius as a Dungeon God, with very few POV swaps, if any. If I make any errors, either in spelling or in grammer, please let me know, and I will endevour to correct them ASAP. I was inspired to create this story after reading the Scale Dungeon, by TheSilverGunner, here on RRL. It is a good story, despite having only a few chapter out at the time of writing this. I highly recommend that you read that story if you find this one interesting.
