《Supersum [LitRPG Transmigration Fantasy]》Chapter 11.5: Mr. Stork is having tea

Authorial POV

The light from the french windows fell into the tea room, illuminating the waxed Mahogany table, beautifully carved and painted in flowery patterns.

This painting was an enchantment, and you could see virtual and transparent butterflies and flowers hovering over it, close to the ceiling.

This enchantment only activated if sunlight fell on it. This beautiful table was a gift to the Leonandra by the Cathedral after they allowed their branch to be built in Wolfsteeth.

A complete tea set made out of pure white porcelain and sweets on multistoried cake plates stood on the table, which could make every commoner and low-Noble start to salivate by such a sight.

The smell of the tea was fruity and somewhat pungently fresh, a perfect addition to those sweets.

Such a tea party arrangement was surrounded by 3 modern Kliné with a backrest on which were sitting 6 Wolf-kins, all in different attires and having mixed moods.

In casual but elegant white linen attire, the massive black-haired one was sitting with his legs crossed and looking over the servants who put everything on the table for the coming tea-time.

You could see his chest hair from his long V-Neck coming out and having his tail beaded with all kinds of wooden ornaments, which you would usually see in the hair of young girls, probably put on by one of his daughters.

This contrast showed the servants none of his fierceness and was laughable until they remembered that he was a High to Peak Tier 3 Druid and the Lord of this Estate.

This was the real power of someone with status and might - you would be accepted and never laughed at, never mind how weird you were.

After the servants were done, all of them left the room, and even before the door closed, the typical gossip started, which could be heard by the ones inside the room.

*clank*

The voice from the green-eyed giant, which sounded in the room, was like a bass, reverberating over everything, sounding cheerful by this occasion, "Good to have the whole family coming together in private!"

Laying softly, his big hand over the small hands of his red-haired wife beside him, which she had over her lap. She was sitting in a white summer dress, fitting for a noble lady, but the adornment was very simple as it only enunciated her already natural beauty.

She was the opposite of him. Everything was dignified on her, the posture, the look on her face, the Aura she let out but sitting beside him, she looked like a princess kidnapped by a bandit.

Her voice was heard, which mainly sounded neutral. Still, the subtone was cheery as well, as it was a rare occasion having such private time, which everyone could see in her subtle smile, "I am also delighted that we could make it happen since we all are very busy with our dealings."

A youth, sitting on one of the couches, with golden streaks in his hair and tail, took the teacup sophisticatedly and replied in the same way, "I am also pleased about having such a lovely time with the family."

Beside him came a grumble from a young lady with golden-colored eyes. Wagging her tail slightly in annoyance, she took a cookie and threw it in her mouth while complaining, "You guys could at least take another time since I had to skip a sparring session with Larry."

The young man held his teacup with one hand and straightened up his suit with his other one while talking to his big sister in a mocking tone as he chuckled, "Lorient, you need to calm down or else I will be killed for sure this time, hehe."

Lorient stared daggers at him but remembered her "little mishap," for which she was mocked since then. Her tone was clearly agitated, "Narsi, if you don't want me..."

Interrupting her was another young Lady, sitting across the table, with green streaks in her hair and a puppy on her lap eating strawberry cake.

Her flowery summer dress accented her youthfulness. She tried to sound cheery, but you could hear her worry that this tea party could go out of control, "Please, you both, could you not just enjoy our time together like Alex? Am I right, little Pup?"

Sitting and enjoying being pampered and caressed while having cake, the puppy was so surprised that he almost spat out his cake, "Whad?!"

The green-eyed young lady took out a handkerchief and cleaned his face, clearly enjoying pampering him.

Lorient, who wore her training outfit as a rebellious act, was sighing in defeat, knowing that she should just enjoy this occasion, "Fine, my bad. I will try and enjoy it."

As she said it, she took her hairband made out of linen which was colored light red, the same as the streaks in her hair, and bound her hair to a ponytail together.

Narsiz looked at Sarah and nodded towards her as a gesture of gratitude while she smiled widely at him.

After some seconds of silence, Lorient spoke up again in a matter-of-fact tone, "But I hope this will not be like the other Noble tea parties, where we sit for hours. I need really to train myself."

Alexander was the first to answer Lorient directly after finishing his first piece of cake. He looked toward the sweets, thinking about what to eat next. He sounded disinterested in this conversation but tried his best to comfort Lorient, "Don't overdo it, big sis. Take it from the one sitting with an Anti-Mana collar now, hehe."

Lorient answered a little aggravated, obviously knowing that what Alex talked about only happens to the most gifted ones and is called "Natural break," "Alex, not everyone can be like you and Sarah, especially not me. This is..."

Interrupting her was Sarah, who looked solemnly at her, as this kind of jealous feeling should not be something one should have towards their siblings, "Lorient, what Alex said makes sense. You are very gifted. It is just that your talent is exceptionally niché!"

Narsiz also put his 2 cents towards this conversation, "Absolutely, so calm down and just enjoy some peppermint tea..." He then looked at Alex sitting on Sarah's lap and enjoying his second cake piece while being caressed, "...we also have some genius who even we three together couldn't dream of reaching."

Everyone in the room looked at Alex. He noticed it and thought for a minute about if he should say something, which he did in a matter-of-fact tone, "This is dumb. Such specializations are actually really good since you will have a field where nobody can be better than you. The same goes for Narsiz, too."

Sarah looked at Lorient too, knowing that she was envious of them, "See? Nobody will be better at fighting against Demons than you! And big brother will be a great diplomat!"

*clap!*

A clap resounded throughout the room, and a slight breeze fluttered everyone's hair.

Everyone looked at the source of this "casual" clap. Their Father was grinning from ear to ear, clearly enjoying this talk between siblings, "We actually got you here so we can announce something!"

His wife beside him, their Mother, also enjoyed such a sight, as it was rare.

At Dinner or Breakfast, where everyone was gathered, the Servants were also there, and such open talks could never happen.

Everyone instantly fell into their own thought after hearing what their Father said.

Narsiz thought it could only mean that the next heir would be chosen. Looking at his siblings, he could only imagine one person that was the best candidate, Alexander.

He was excited and frustrated simultaneously, but there was no way that he could ever overtake Alexander, who was barely 2 years old and more intelligent than he. Even thinking about his System window, his body jolted, and a shudder came over him, 'He should be at least Level 40... this is absolutely insane.'

He thought if there was actually someone who reached Tier 2 at the beginning of their Legacy? No, but there will be, and he will need guidance and a right hand to administrate the Leonandra territory, 'if I can't be the heir, I should help my brother.'

Sitting cross-legged, his intense gaze was entirely on his Father, a fierce genius himself. So he waited and hoped that he would have the adequate ability to help his now-puppy brother and the territory reach new heights.

This is also the only possibility that would make sense since, with him, the Leonandra's could have a golden age never seen before!

Beside him was Lorient, taking another cookie as eating something helped calm her nerves down as she thought about what the announcement could be?!

As chaotic as her mind was, it instantly wandered towards the possibility that her Dad needs more people because the blood Demon is more fierce than thought? 'This would be great!'

If this was really the case, Dad would take and train her on the way! She thought there was no way he could ignore her since she had the Demon annihilation Divinity line!

Her reason continued as she thought about the last months, where they had dined together daily and even have such a Teaparty now? This much bonding was even unusual for the Leonandra's!

She bit her lips slightly, thinking that it was arranged by their parents, so they could have as much together as possible before going their own ways. Yes! It can only mean this since I will go to the east! This will be the only chance to overtake my siblings...

She was sad to have such thoughts, but there was no way for her to change them. Even Narsi, who had a purely bureaucratic Divinity Line, was more talented. She would come out as a genius compared to everyone else in Moorgrel, but those three... are unreal.

As she sat, with her legs together, which she could barely hold still, thinking how much fun she would have with her Father, 'With this, I can overtake them and be an older sister they could rely on!'

Since the accident with Sarah and Narsiz, her conscience plagued her to no end. Even the thought of attacking her siblings was something she could not fathom, and she needed to do much better now and be a pillar the whole family could rely on!

On the other hand, Sarah was much more worried than her older siblings, having the worst outcome in mind, 'Will Papa be away for much longer?'

It was for her one of the most beautiful times she had, as her whole family was there. It was peaceful, and she wanted to hold everyone far away who could disturb this peace.

Trying to hold on to her facial expression, her thoughts wandered and showed how she would rip everyone apart who dared to split her family apart again. She let out a quiet growl escape while her usually calm and innocent smile showed her fangs. 'I will kill everyone who dares to hurt my family, even if I need to run to them and bite their heads off!'

Being this tensed up, she was fully staring towards the void space between her Mama and Papa, suddenly noticing that it could be that her Mama also needed to go towards the east. 'I will definitely kill them all...'

Sarah was the most family-oriented of their siblings, and it showed whenever they all were inside a room, as she wanted to hold on to a peaceful atmosphere.

This young Wolf-kin, who didn't even go through her Legacy, was also the most fierce one if it came to her family. Ready to do what is needed, even going as far as betraying the crown.

While not saying this, her thoughts also reflected how useless Count Moorgrel was and how despicable humans and dwarves could be. Such thoughts worsened after talking with her big brother a long time ago.

Alexander had the most profound and complex thoughts of everyone as he sat on Sarah's lap and contemplated his most important questions up to this date, 'Cherry or another strawberry?'

Having finished his second piece of the cake, he thought if he should risk it and try a different sort or stay with something which was already delicious since this was literally the best thing he ate in his present and previous life.

Being almost in a trance, he cursed himself, 'Damn this small and cute body for that. I can only eat another piece before I am absolutely full!'

Oblivious to what his Dad said about some announcement.

...

The silence reigned over the whole room, and the minds of those siblings were nothing alike as chaos reigned in them. Everyone had other thoughts and reasons for what was going to happen now.

Suddenly, Marisia inhaled and was ready to announce, and at this moment, everyone, except Alexander, was looking at her and seeing her cheerful smile, "I am pregnant."

If everyone's brain was a PC, they would go into bluescreen and restart, recalculating what she actually said, as it was something they couldn't even imagine, so they blurted their first thoughts out.

"Another one?!"

"What about the Demons!"

"Another puppy, yeah!"

"Cherry, it is... wait... what?!"

The loud bassing voice echoed through the room as Kairoso laughed heartily, hearing what his children said, "GUHAHAHA, what did you all think about?!"

Sarah was the first who almost started crying, sitting Alex, who was like a broken machine now, down in the empty space beside her. She stood up and went to her Mama to hug her, to which she happily replied in kind, "Congratulations!"

The other older, Siblings congratulated her from their seats as Sarah occupied her Mother for herself.

Only Alexander was lost in his mind, thinking about a possibility he never even considered, 'What if... there will be another transmigrator?'

His thoughts went all over the place, thinking it could be good but also a catastrophe if it was someone absolutely mental, trying to take over the world and disrupting the order at a pace that was too fast.

He wanted to change the world too, but he feared that some idiot could be too fast and something like this would lead to riots and revolutions never seen before, so there was a need for a much slower transition, which could be much more natural and less violent.

His imagination went wild, speculating crazy Nazis and Commis coming to this world and disrupting it in a way never seen before by putting idealistic ideas, which nobody could ever hope to implement. All he could do was pray and hope for the best, 'Please God, don't let her uterus be a portal to my universe!'

While everyone else started to talk about the how and when, Alex was prisoned inside his mind and only occasionally spoke with them while cursing his Dad for being this "fertile," 'This damn fucker! Isn't he around 80 or 90? Can't he calm the fuck down!'

In the end, he calmed down, rationalizing everything and that such a scenario was improbable, while this tea party went on for the next hour.

A lot of talk and banter was heard inside the room, and everyone celebrated this occasion and left happy, except for one puppy, who forgot at the end to take another cake piece...
