'There are not any interesting ones right now...' Feeling dejected at the results that he got, Lucifer began to ponder. Why would the system only allow him to evolve to something weaker than the current him? But if he didn't evolve now, he wouldn't be able to become much stronger then he was. And although a lot of humans and beasts were on the battlefield, he didn't especially want to kill and absorb humans, since he quite enjoyed to be in his dragon form.
'Oh well... I might as well evolve into something to grow stronger.' But what should he pick? The spirit and troll races were all excluded, leaving him with the Demonic Devil. The spirit races didn't have much use for him as his body was already immortal, and since he didn't want to become extremely dumb, the troll races were a no-go as well. But what use could the Demonic Devil give him instead of his current race?

'Although it is weaker, that's because I'm in an elder stage, while it's only at the baby stage. That will allow it to reach early Saint Rank.' Although Lucifer wasn't too happy about the choices he got, he knew that he couldn't wait since he wanted to know who Madison was and why he had been chosen to reincarnate in the world Zylghen.
- "Loton, begin the combination for the Demonic Devil bloodline, but don't evolve me yet."
["Initiating the process of combining the Giant Demonic Dragon and Devil Snake into the Demonic Devil bloodline."]
Lucifer had to find a place he could be safe during the time he was undergoing an evolvement. Although he didn't believe that anyone on the battlefield would be able to harm him, it was always better to take precautions. Especially now that he had killed a Prince of a pretty strong race. He wouldn't be able to fend them off if he were as strong as he was now, as the Giant race probably had connections with even stronger races. If that were the case, they could probably somehow manage to get someone to get rid of Lucifer within a short amount of time. But where could he possibly be safe for the time he underwent evolvement?
'I'll probably be able to hide in the magma below the ground on the battlefield. Since I'm a dragon I should be immune to high temperatures, and I already have an immortal body so it'll probably be the safest place for me to reside.' Pondering for a while, Lucifer got a conclusion that could probably work out.
He flapped his wings flying into the air at incredible speeds. A couple of seconds later when Lucifer was a couple of hundred metres above the ground he plummeted down into the magma.
- "Loton initiate the evolution to the Demonic Devil."
["Extra confirmation needed."]
["Y/N."]
- "Yes!"
["Due to unexpected interference, a mutation has taken place, and the Host will evolve into an Abyssal Dragon. Initiating evolution. Estimated time: 5 years, 214 days, 17 hours, 54 minutes, 36 seconds and 12 milliseconds."]

'Wait... wha-' Before Lucifer could barely react, he had already fallen into a deep sleep that he couldn't awake from before he had evolved.

- "YOUR MAJESTY! YOUR MAJESTY!!!!"
A guard could be seen running through the corridors of the palace, panting for his breath and running at his fastest speed.
- "YOUR MAJESTY!"
The guard ran towards a huge double-door that had carvings of many mythical beings. It was beautifully decorated with all sorts of symbols as it almost represented a gate to heaven.
*Creak*
As the guard opened the door while heavily sweating and panting, he looked inside the hall. In the middle of the hall was a golden table, with tens of people sitting around it. At one of its ends sat three people on golden thrones, one bigger than the others. Two other thrones were besides those but they were empty.
- "Your Majesty! Lords!"
Bowing respectfully towards the people inside the hall the guard out of breath and sweating kneeled on the ground.
- "What is it? We don't have all day for trivial matters."
An arrogant and prideful voice came from one of the smaller gold thrones. On the throne, sat a somewhat fat youth with a mocking smirk plastered on his face. The other people in the hall had frustrated and irritated looks while looking at the guard that had disturbed their meeting.
- "Your Majesty! The mana stone representing the Third Prince has crumbled!"
Instantly the countenance of everyone present in the room turned into that of disbelief and confusion.
- "What nonsense are you spouting?!"
Suddenly one of the people present shouted at the guard making him extremely uncomfortable.
He had grey hair long hair, sharp blue eyes, and an extremely old-looking face. His voice was hoarse and his movements were stiff.
Right after shouting at the guard, the elderly man began to cough violently.
- "Calm down Elder, your body is too weak right now."
A youth that sat beside the elder tried to comfort the old man as he looked at the guard in disgust.
- "Tell me everything."
Suddenly a voice came from the biggest of the gold thrones at the end of the table. Sitting on top was a middleaged man with long black hair rolled into a bun at the back of his head. His features were elegant, while his eyes emitted a sense of comfort.
- "A couple of days ago, the Third Prince, His Majesty, told us he would go to the battlefield in search of something and left. He didn't tell us what it was."
Continuing with the explanation, beads of sweat could be seen rolling down on the guard's forehead as he were extremely nervous about the reactions the people in the hall would have.
- "IT'S YOUR FAULT! YOU COULD'VE PREVENTED IT! SOMEBODY KILL THIS TRAITOR!!!"
The elderly man that had just calmed down once again yelled up and instantly began to cough violently. While coughing he spat out a mouthful of blood he fainted and fell to the floor.
- "Quick get a doctor!"
The youth that sat beside the elderly man quickly yelled at a nearby guard.
While nobody was paying attention, a small and creepy smile crept up on the middleaged man's face.
- "Whoever you are, I'll make you regret killing my son!"

The Other World
Every living being becomes a Traveler while sleeping. This means that part of what is called “consciousness” detaches from the rest, carrying us towards worlds located in parts still unknown of the universe. Most of these places have things that inhabit only our dreams. Worlds were physics is not the same one we know. Where magic exists and mythological creatures walk amongst the people. Most of the Travelers become mere spectators in this world, unable to influence it. With some luck, they can go back to their bodies and wake up with the memory of a pleasant dream. Others do not have the same luck and end up stuck in the limbo, unable to return home. There is one other category of Travelers. These are the ones strong enough to create bodies and separate themselves from the life they had before. These Travelers start a new life without ever thinking about returning to the place they once called “home”. This story is about the last kind of Travelers and their trials in a world filled with spells, magical creatures and monsters. **

The Last Marshal
Weird West Fantasy Noir Once the Republic Marshals brought order to the chaotic lands along the Frontier, facing dangers both human and supernatural with ancient wisdom and a six-gun —but that was a long time ago. Destroyed by conspiracy and betrayal, all that remains of that secretive order is one nameless man on a trek though the West seeking revenge on the woman he blames for the Marshals' fall and his disgrace. When a visitor from our world joins him on his journey, they together must confront the horrors of a strange land, the mysteries of the past and the real meaning of their quest for justice. The world of Tellus is what 19th Century Earth would have looked like if the stories of Poe, Ambrose Bierce, Lovecraft and William Hope Hodgeson were real. History in this world moves slower. The old faiths persist and civilization never conquered the dark corners of the map, at least not without being inextricably changed. Technology and culture takes a little longer to evolve in this land, as people here tend to spend more time pursuing their elaborate revenge plots or trying to avoid being the next sacrifice to the Outer Gods rather than advancing science or statecraft. Imagine Cormac McCarthy by way of Edgar Rice Burroughs, though a little less testosterone-drenched than that description would imply. Three caveats: First, there are deep mysteries here, including how such a world came to be and who controls it. Second, this world is not wholly unconnected from our own. There is a historical point of divergence, but in the distant past. To paraphrase Twain: history in this world is not a repeat of our own, but it does often rhyme. And finally, this is not a setting that lends itself to happy endings.
