- "Y-y-you'll regret m-making an enemy out o-of the Giants...!"

With his last breath, the Prince managed to utter a few threatening words at Lucifer, before his body became lifeless, showing no sign of moving again.

- "And they'll regret making an enemy of me!"

Although Lucifer knew the Prince was dead, he still uttered those words as if hoping they would go to the afterlife together with the Prince, to haunt him for eternity. Lucifer cancelled his boosting skills since they would just make his body tired if used for too long.

'What?!' Why would a skill that he had used so much, just be lost because he got too strong?! What kind of bullshit rule was that?!

- "ROAR!"

Lucifer roared towards heaven with his ear-piercing dragon's roar filled with anger and frustration. Soon, blood slowly rolled out the ears of those nearby, as they had most likely gone deaf due to how loud the roar was.

He smashed his claws into the ground, instantly making enormous cracks that spewed up tons of magma. Lucifer began to destroy most of his surroundings due to him being too angry. Who would want one of their trump cards to be instantly taken away? Nobody, that was why Lucifer couldn't exactly stop feeling anger.

A couple of minutes passed by, and he managed to somewhat calm down. Since destroying his surroundings wouldn't give him the skill back, why would he continue anyway?

Because Lucifer had been too focused on the Third Prince of the Giants and the anger that had been planted inside his heart, he had forgotten about the other giant that had stood beside the Prince when he first arrived. A couple of hundred metres away stood the Giant, completely motionless, as if not daring to move. As soon as Lucifer's eyes looked towards the Giant, a shiver could be spotted, while drops of cold sweat rolled down his forehead.

Flapping his wings, Lucifer arrived in front of the Giant in less than a couple of seconds, landing on the ground and making huge cracks. As if finally understanding the situation he was in, the Giant reacted with retracting in fear.

- "P-please d-don't kill m-m-me..."

Stuttering the words out and holding his hands in front of him, the Giant seemed to be too scared of Lucifer, as the second strongest Prince of the Giants had been killed right in front of his own eyes.

- "Then tell me why I should not?"

Staring intensely at the Giant, with his reptile eyes, Lucifer sounded a question.

- "I-I w-won't tell t-the higherups i-if you let m-me go."

Silently face-palming inside his mind, Lucifer couldn't believe that the only thing the Giant had to stay was that.

- "But if I kill you now, you won't be able to tell them either."

Lucifer replied with a cruel smile and a hint of pity in his eyes. Why let the Giant go if he could just kill him right there?

Instantly the countenance of the Giant turned extremely pale. His face twisted into that of fear, as he lowered his head, not daring to look Lucifer into the eyes.

- "Besides, they'll know it whether I kill you or not, so I don't see what use I have for you except if you tell me information."

As soon as the words left Lucifer's mouth, the face of the Giant instantly got more colour as if he were hoping of a way out of the current situation.

A couple of minutes passed by as the Giant explained in detail about their race. There was a hierarchy in the inner region of the continent Glorica and the Giant race was only ranked as the 20th strongest race out of 50 races. The races in the top 3 were all a mystery to the Giant, as information about them was completely erased from every book, paper or scroll. All those somehow obtaining information died a tragic death almost right after.

Lucifer also asked why the Giant's were all the way out in the outer region of Glorica, as there were thousands of kilometres between them.

- "It's b-because the higherups t-told us to."

Feeling a little dejected as to not getting an answer on such an important question, Lucifer continued to listen to the Giant that hurriedly revealed a lot of information.

- "W-will you l-let me go...?"

After finishing, the Giant finally looked into the eyes of Lucifer, as hope could be seen deep within. Lucifer somewhat felt that he wanted to let the Giant go, but he also knew that it would bring more risks than benefits.

'It's the law of the jungle, sorry.'

Lucifer swiftly moved his claws, which instantly sliced off the head of the Giant. Without enough time to even blink an eye the Giant's head had fallen to the ground, and his body was motionlessly lying beside it.

- "Wide Range Absorption."

Hundreds of corpses turned into dust and got sucked into Lucifer's body, completely disappearing.

'YES!' As Lucifer had absorbed the Prince he got the skill that he wanted the most, since his body was immortal. The only problem was that he could still feel pain at that time, but now it would be possible to completely ignore it!

'I wonder how strong I've become?' Being curious as to how strong he had become, Lucifer's heart began to pound with excitement.
