Finally, after a week of hunting around for devil snakes, had Lucifer found enough to complete its bloodline. He'd also gotten skills. The one the least useful was the Poison Immunity since he had the Constant Regeneration skill, that made him immune towards poison. He'd also gotten a ton of XP. Suddenly Loton's voice resounded throughout his mind.

["Due to continuous use of the unique skill 'Absorb', it is now possible to only absorb the selected out of bloodline, XP and a skill."]

When Loton finished his sentence, he couldn't help but be extremely excited, as that would allow him to mass-kill and earn a ton of XP without him even having to obtain all sorts of useless skills. But before he could rejoice, another message resounded.

["Due to continuous use of the unique skill 'Absorb', it has been upgraded to the 'Unique Skill: Wide Range Absorption'."]

Lucifer's eyes began to almost bulge out as he got one surprise after another. Because of all the surprises, he couldn't help but be extremely happy.

- "Advance."

It would be best if he would be able to directly advance to the Adult stage since that would allow him to directly become a peak Lord rank, which would make him almost invincible amongst the Lord-ranks. He wouldn't even need to fear early-stage King ranks since he had a couple of skills allowing him to fight opponents much stronger than himself.

Having decided that he would need to get 15 million more XP, he quickly scouted the spot with most humans and beasts, as well as corpses since that would help him get XP. He flapped his wings and flew like a jet towards them, and landed with a loud thud forming cracks on the ground. Since they were at war, they were going to die anyway, so why not give them a quick death?

- "Blood Strengthening."

Blood began flying through the air like blades and whenever somebody came into contact with the blood, they immediately released an ear-piercing scream as they were cut in half. The now dead, individual's blood began flowing through the air towards Lucifer as well. Blood flooded towards Lucifer as he felt himself getting stronger and stronger, but this time, he would only do it to clear out the closest area around him.

A couple of minutes later, he'd cleared out a 100-meter radius around him, leaving only corpses and some leftover blood he didn't absorb.

Immediately after Lucifer activated his new skill, the corpses around him quickly began to turn into what seemed to be dust, that silently flowed towards him and when it touched his skin, it was like it integrated into him.

["The Host has successfully absorbed 157 individuals at the Lord rank, 589 at the Earth rank, and 36 at the Mortal rank. Awarding Host with 21,626,000‬ XP."]

As Lucifer heard Loton's voice inside his head, his mouth went wide agape in disbelief. If he could get that much XP, by just doing that, he could quickly reach the Elder stage of his Giant Demonic Dragon race, without much trouble. He flapped his wings once more and had a decisive look on his face, as he was determined to quickly gather enough XP to advance to the Elder stage of his race.

If someone could see how fast Lucifer was getting stronger and advancing, they would immediately spit out a mouthful of blood due to anger and have envious and greedy looks plastered on their faces.

'This god damn system is such a cheat.' Being thankful as to how lucky he was to get picked to inherit this system, he couldn't help but feel that he had won some kind of hidden jackpot.

A type of wolf that has a spirit body, making it almost impossible to kill with any sort of physical attacks. It is extremely hard to kill if the user doesn't have any mind or soul related attacking skills or techniques.

After a couple of hours, Lucifer had gotten the amount of XP he needed to advance thrice in succession. During the time he had hunted for XP he had encountered many Giant Trolls which he needed to finish its bloodline. He'd also encountered some Spirit Wolf's which sounded pretty amazing. Since he had absorbed a massive amount of blood with his Blood Strengthening skill, the aura he released could instantly kill the Spirit Wolve's as if they weren't even a challenge to kill. He had also gotten another 2000 in TB which would allow him to enter the early stages of King rank.

First, though, he had to find a nice and quiet place that he could use to advance. Since he was on a battlefield, it wasn't a place that he could find such a place at, so he decided it would be best to leave the battlefield for the time being.

After flying for a whole week, he had finally reached the edge of the battlefield and could spot green forests and misty mountains instead of pure red.

Landing on top of one of the tallest mountains he could spot, he began to check his surroundings for any creatures that could threaten him while he was unconscious. After checking he sighed in relief as he came to the conclusion that he was alone.

- "Loton, advance me to the Elder stage of the Giant Demonic Dragon race."

["The advancement from the Child stage to the Elder stage of the Giant Demonic Dragon race will come out at a cost of 277,500,000 XP. Due to the Host's lack of MP, the time required will be approximately 72 hours to fully modify and construct the Host to fit the criteria of an Elder."]

'Damn, I didn't think Loton would need 3 full days to complete my advancement when it was only 6 hours last time.' Feeling a little wary, and uncomfortable, Lucifer began to discuss with himself if he was brave enough.

After a couple of minutes, he showed a determined face.

- "Yes."

["Received confirmation from Host. Beginning the modification of the Host's body."]

As soon as Loton reminded him, his eyelids got heavy, and he fell into a deep sleep, and he lost all his senses of the outside world for the next 72 hours.
