Lucifer woke up to the cold mechanical voice of Loton reminding him it was time to move on. He slowly but surely opened his eyelids. He felt a surge of energy constantly flowing through his body, making him feel stronger and sturdier.

'I got 600 more TB from doing nothing but sleeping in the Purple Moon Lake?!' Lucifer had a feeling that if the lake was spotted by humans, it would be considered a natural treasure worth millions of gold. Looking around him, Lucifer noticed the starry sky. At the middle, a blood-red star was placed, looking down upon the world. It had an almost magical power, that somehow attracted him. After staring at it for a while, he shook his head and began moving out of the lake. A while later he was standing beside the lake and flapped his wings flying towards south. The moon's light was reflected on Lucifer's blood-red scales, which made them shine with a beautiful red light.

While flying towards south for a while, Lucifer began to ponder what kind of beasts he would meet when arriving at his destination. It could be crossovers of multiple different animals or just a race he wouldn't have heard about. Although he was excited to find out, he would still have to be extremely careful as to not provoke an extremely strong Lord Rank that even he wouldn't be able to beat. He would never begin a fight with a beast he didn't know he could win against, that would just be suicidal.

After flying for an hour or so, Lucifer landed back on the ground to take a little break, since he wouldn't want to be too tired when he had to fight beasts with the same level of strength as him. If he couldn't utter his peak performance, it would make it much harder for him to survive. Flapping his wings, he continued on his way while looking down on the forest from above.

30 minutes later, the forest ended and a barren land came into sight, with nothing but desert. The temperature dropped a lot, almost as if the two places were in different dimensions. The hills of sand reminded him of pictures of Egypt he had seen while back on Earth. The sandhills had almost wave-like surfaces making it look like dirty water. Sand flew in every direction, making it seem chaotic as if the winds couldn't decide which direction to blow. Flying through the barren lands, Lucifer didn't look down since there probably wouldn't be anything he would need to take notice of.

Flying another 30 minutes or so, Lucifer heard metal clashing together in the distance. After flying higher into the sky, he noticed a big red being with a muscular build. It had horns on its head and its nostrils spewed out a smoke-like cloud in the cold desert.

In front of it, a muscular male with a sword and a shield stood, and behind him stood a lady in fine clothing and what seemed to be her daughter. Although the muscular man could defend against the minotaur's attacks, he would soon tire out and be unable to raise his shield.

- "You damn human, why do you care if I take that woman and let her become mine?!" Suddenly the minotaur yelled at the top of his lungs at the man standing in front of him.

- "Observation."

The Minotaur race is known for its strong and sturdy bodies. Although they're strong, they're usually not very clever, and as a saying goes, 'They think with their balls'. The most notable about minotaurs are their unique skill 'Enhance' which allows them to double their TB.

For the first time, Lucifer saw a beast with a name. Although that might be because minotaurs can speak just as well as humans do to each other. The only thing worth mentioning was its unique skill which piqued Lucifer's interest. If he could obtain that skill, his strength could be doubled yet again when he had used his 'Expand' skill, making him four times stronger when both skills were activated.

'I have got to get that skill!' Lucifer was determined to the unique skill of the minotaur. It would make him much stronger, and he would be able to fight on equal grounds with beasts at least four times stronger than himself.

- "ROAR."

Lucifer roared at the top of his lungs to distract the minotaur away from the human male. He hurriedly flapped his wings and landed on the ground between the male and the minotaur.

- "Boom!"

The sand flew everywhere making it hard for the eye to open up without getting a ton of sand inside.

- "ROAR!"

Lucifer roared an ear-piercing and deep roar once more, and under a second later, he spat out his 'Orcus Dragon Flame' which reeked of the aura of death. The coal-black flame twisted and turned around itself as if being a living creature. While he spat out his flame toward the somewhat dazed minotaur, the humans behind him began bleeding out of their ears and their bodies shivered heavily. Except for one little girl with two different eye colours. She stood on the side, looking with a smile filled with mockery toward the minotaur for meeting such a strong opponent.

The flame crashed into the Minotaur leaving no space for it to even react at all. After the black flame hit, it almost immediately extinguished as if it wasn't effective.

- "Haha! Do you think such a flame would work against me, Mubor?!" The minotaur laughed loudly as if declaring it was superior to Lucifer.

- "Hahahah-"

Midway laughing, the minotaur suddenly stopped and look at Lucifer in astonishment and fear, as its body began to shrivel down and wither. The minotaurs flesh began contracting and the fur on its body began changing from reddish to completely grey. All the lifeforce of the minotaur gradually got sucked out, only leaving a shrivelled corpse. You wouldn't even be able to call it a corpse since it was just skin and bones loosely hanging together.

Without noticing the horrified gazes of the muscular knight and the lady, Lucifer stepped beside the skin and bones while stretching out one of his claws and touching it.

- "Absorb."

With a deep and intimidating voice, the skin and bones began turning into small almost particle-like pieces getting sucked into Lucifer as if it was the most natural thing to occur.

Lucifer almost exploded from happiness as he heard the voice of Loton confirm that he had luckily gotten the skill he'd wanted the most. He was also happy to get some bloodline of the minotaur since he could use it to combine with his current bloodline, possibly making him stronger.

Hiding his happiness and without noticing the gazes of the now ghastly pale man and woman, Lucifer turned towards the little girl standing on the side. She hadn't changed her expression the whole time, and continued to maintain the mysterious and mocking smile while looking at the place the minotaurs remains was before being absorbed.

- "One of the first humans who don't seem to be scared of me." He spoke with a deep voice and looked at the little girl and looked into her different coloured eyes, one of which was as calm and blue as water, while the other was as wild and red as flames.

- "I'm Princess Thalia of the Saithia Dynasty. Thank you for saving us dragon." Her smile changed into a friendly and warm one.

- "How would you know if I wouldn't just kill you all?" Lucifer looked at her with his scary-looking reptile eyes.

- "Because I just know it." She replied with a mysterious smirk plastered on her face.

'Observation'. Because Lucifer wanted to know if it was a skill that could determine his intentions or if it was a prediction skill, he silently activated his unique skill Observation.

- "Ahh, I see. The Eye Of Destiny." The fact that Lucifer couldn't obtain The Eye of Destiny saddened him a bit.

As soon as the words left Lucifer's mouth, Thalia's eyes almost popped out of her skull since nobody besides herself knew that she had The Eye Of Destiny.

- "How do you know that?!" She finally changed her expression into that of a little fear.

- "I just know.." Lucifer smiled mysteriously at her while keeping eye contact. After hearing his reply, her face abruptly turned back to normal, and she pouted her mouth in dissatisfaction.

- "Fine, if you don't want to say it then that's that. What's your name then, if you even have one." She sounded as if she knew he didn't have a name and wanted to name him as if she was his owner.

- "I'm Lucifer."
