Normally when people die, they would go to Heaven or Hell. Well... That's not entirely true based on my experience.

Lucifer was a normal teenage boy at the age of 17 living in modern-day London with his grandmother Miranda. Yes, you heard right, 'Lucifer' the devils name. The name itself sounded cool, but he would always get bullied for his unusual name and him being slightly overweight.

It was always hard to get through the day, and most of the time his lunch money for the cafeteria would be taken by bullies, so he oftentimes wouldn't get anything to eat until dinner at home with Miranda.

Life is hard, he knows that much, but why does it have to be so unfair? He was a little overweight, and because of that, he got bullied a lot compared to others. Just a little weight made others look at him as if he was a fat pig. Because he got bullied a lot, he would always sit alone in a corner of his class, away from everyone else. He never made his homework, because even the teachers bullied and ignored him. But he wouldn't mind, because he always thought people deserved another chance. That's why he never told Miranda of him being bullied in school.

And then came that one day. That day that changed his entire view of human desire and reason. He had enough of being bullied, so he spoke up, but to his surprise, everyone began to bully and oppress him, even more, making him more depressed. At that day after school ended, he walked toward home looking down at his phone. Not the smartest idea, but he didn't care at the time. As if his bad luck of being bullied and oppressed wasn't enough, he got run over by a truck. Of course, that was because he didn't pay attention to his surroundings and just walked right out on the road. Everything turned black, and he couldn't feel nor see or hear anything.

And it was at that time he was hit he heard the cold and mechanical voice inside his head.

'I mean, you didn't have to be that harsh on me when I was already depressed'. Another message with the same cold and mechanical voice rang inside his head.

["System of the Evolution God will now reprogram Host's body to fit the climate condition and atmosphere of the planet named 'Zylghen,' also named as 'The World Of Chaos' by his Majesty the Evolution God, Bithos."]

'What?' Who would want to live in a world named The World of Chaos? Just what happened to it for it to get that name. Although the name 'The World Of Chaos' sounded pretty cool, he wouldn't want to live there. Not many people would if they had a choice. But because of his bad luck, he couldn't choose anything else. And what was all that about his 'Majesty,' and the 'Evolution God'? Did it have something to do with the cold mechanical voice inside his head? He wouldn't know if he didn't ask. It was only then, that he noticed he couldn't speak. Almost as if he was just a thought, a soul maybe? What a bummer, he thought.

["The system will now incorporate the 'Evolution System' into the Host."]

["Successfully incorporated the 'Evolution System' into the Host. As a result of the Host feeling oppressed and scared in the previous life, the Host has acquired the passive skill 'Fear' and the skill 'Expand'."]

He could slowly open his eyes from the completely black space he was in before. He looked at his body to see if he had undergone any change that might be visible. He had a pair of wings, a tail and his body was covered in coal-black shiny scales. He was around a meter tall, with the wingspan being two meters in length. He looked like a dragon, which was pretty cool. His chest and claws had a blood-red colour, which shone in the light sunlight. After checking himself, he looked around and saw a bunch of tall trees. They looked to be around 20-25 metes tall which restricted him from seeing anything above that height. Only some light were allowed to come through the leaves. Everything was green around him, almost like a rainforest or jungle. 'This place doesn't live up to the name of The World Of Chaos'. And what was that skill about? All of this reminded him of some novels he had read when he was still back on earth. Maybe this System worked the same as some of the others in the novels?

A species of aggressive dragons, with their own unique dragon flame, the Sanguis Dragon Flame. They're known to attack other species without reason, and most view them as 'Evil' beings connected to the demons and devils from the underworld. The Demon Dragon is ranked as an Earth Rank while it has the potential to be as strong as a Lord Rank beast.

'Expand' allows for the user of the skill to absorb power from nature into the body, which will double the body mass and TB, resulting in a temporary boost in strength and defence. It can only be used 2 times every 24 hours.

[Skill: Sanguis Dragon Flame]

The unique flame only available to the Demon Dragon race. Its colour is blood red and when used it can only affect and burn blood and flesh, thereby the name Sanguis Dragon Flame (Blood Dragon Flame).

[Unique Skill: Absorb]

'Absorb' allows the user to obtain other races bloodlines a small chance to get a random skill through killing different races and absorbing their dead remains.

[Unique Skill: Combine]

'Combine' allows the user to combine different bloodlines or skills, creating new and unknown bloodlines or skills.

[Unique Skill: Observation]

'Observation' allows the user to roughly see the stats and condition of the target selected.

[Passive Skill: Fear]

The user releases an intimidating and scary aura. Only works on beings weaker than the user.

Everything looked pretty good, but right now he didn't know whether he was strong or not. And what did it mean to be an 'Earth Rank'?

["Ranks is used to identify the threat level and power an animal or beast has. The currently known ranks are Mortal, Earth, Lord, King, Saint, Angel, Heaven and God."]

He was only an earth rank species. At least his species wasn't in the Mortal rank.

So he would first need to get XP from killing other beasts and animals he found. Second, he needed somewhere safe in case a big and strong animal spotted him. Third, he needed to get a lot stronger if he wanted to survive in this new world.

Great. So he was a unique being that could evolve, and steal skills and bloodlines of other species just by killing them and absorbing their remains.
