~Amos PoV~

Huh…

‘Where did he go?’ I looked around and the boy who was walking towards me vanished right in front of my eyes, I looked to my sides just in case he was planning on attacking from there but he was not there either.

Everything around me went dark and my body fell down helplessly to the ground.

~Claus PoV~

I took a step and moved right behind him and while he quickly reacted, it was not fast enough so I hit his neck with the side of my hand and his body fell down.

Eeeoooeeeoooeeeoooeeeooo……..

I looked around the manor and I could hear the siren that belonged to the cops making their way here, I picked up the lifeless body from the ground and made my way towards the back yard of the manor and moved very fast to get out of the scene unseen.

After I moved over 100km I stopped on top of a warehouse, the warehouse didn’t seem to be in use by anyone as it looked very shabby, I forcibly opened the door and looked around for things I could use, meanwhile the lifeless body seemed to be waking up so I threw him to the cent of the room where he woke up and looked around while taking up his guard.

“Calm down I am not going to hurt you, Yet!” I said with a smile and looked at me and rolled backwards while throwing a knife at me, ‘Where did he get that?’ I thought as I caught it with two fingers, the man charged at me while having one hand behind his back, he took something out of his back and trusted it at me.

I took a sidestep and took a hold of his hand and looked at the second knife he held in his hand “Where are you hiding these?” I said as I let go of his hand, he went down on his knees and tried to slash my legs with something, I jumped up a bit and stood on top of his head looking at the third knife that has appeared in his hands.

He stood up and I jumped away from his head and looked at him, he threw the knife towards the ground and put his hands up while looking at me “I give up” He said

“Why don’t I believe it?” I said with a smile and he frowned as he threw 2 more knives at me while charging towards me.

Clang! Clang!

I used the knife I already had to deflect them while taking a step forward and disturbing his movements, he was very surprised as I got right in his face while holding his knife at his throat.

“You are an interesting person indeed!” I said while taking a step back and throwing the knife back to him, he was confused for a while and then he looked at me “Why didn’t you kill me just now?”

I looked at him “If I wanted you dead, you would have been already!” I put my hands behind my back.

“What do you want with me?”

“I am here to give you a once in a lifetime offer, what do you say want to take it?” I said with a smile

He frowned “What kind of offer?”

“An offer that will allow you to surpass the limits of humanity and become a god amongst men, so what do you say?”

He opened his mouth to say something but he closed them and looked at the ground, he seemed to think about it for a while before he looked at me “What’s the catch?”

I smiled “You have to swear your loyalty to me of course”

“Even if I do agree, how will you be able to make me god amongst men?” He asked me as he looked at me with a doubtful expression

“All you have to do is say that you vow to the heavens that you will always be loyal to me and if you are not let your soul be shattered! and after that, I will show you how” I said with a knowing smile.

“And why would I possibly swear my loyalty to you, as an assassin I have my pride, no one can make me bow to them!” He said with a frown preparing himself to attack.

“You are right, then let me ask you. What is your goal in life?”

“My goal is to become the world’s best assassin!”

“And what rank are you amongst the other assassins?”

He looked down “Rank A”

“Now let me ask you, can you get stronger? can your body go on without being affected by old age?” I said and his ears went red

“What I am offering you is power and immortality, choose wisely, this is the last time I am going to ask you!” I said with a serious tone and he looked at me for a while taking what I said into account.

“Fine, if you can grant me more power I will give you my loyalty” He said as he put away the knife

“Great!” I said and moved closer to him, he didn’t let his guard down as he took a step back before stopping

“Now vow?” I said as I stood in front of him while looking into his deep blue eyes.

“I vow to the heavens that I will always be loyal to you and if I am not let my soul be shattered!”

I looked at the contract that has been formed between us, he might not see it like me but he can feel it so he was surprised after he stopped talking.

“Now then!” I said to him and put my hand on his chest, he was startled at first but he didn’t move and just stood there, I passed a technique to him and told him of his role and what I want him to do for me, after that I made my way home.
