The sun shine went dim as the day was nearly over, the stench of blood aroused the bestial nature of the wolves, some of the dead bandits body could be seen being eating by the wolves, even if they were allies, the bodies were already dead, and the wolves were very hungry, so why waste a free snack? Only the Wolf Prince could control itself from its beastly nature to devour these bodies, it was instead looking down coldly at the boy in the distance before grunting softly towards its lackeys, ordering them to attack and kill this green looking kid.

The wolves quickly surrounded Fang Li, blood and flesh dripping from their mouths, their snarled in disdain while showing their sharp teeth’s, Fang Li was focusing all his attention on the surrounding enemies, keeping himself alert because one careless move could spell not only the life of himself, but his student, and as a master, if he couldn’t protect someone who he just put under his wing, wouldn’t that be a joke?

He held his kunai with a strong grip, waiting for the next move, and after a few minutes of having a stare down with the wolves, he heard the sound of stomping, one of the wolves had kicked the dirt and rushed forward with red eyes as if he was eyeing a tasty meal.

Fang Li judged this one wolf to be a lower grade 1 beast, in his memories there are different grades of beast like how human cultivation is, but instead of having a body and qi realm like human cultivator, these beasts all have different body structures and ways to grow stronger so there is a universal grading system to judge these beasts.

Beast are graded into numbers, Grade 1 Beasts would be equivalent to Human Realm, Grade 2 Beasts would be equivalent to General Realm, Grade 3 Beast would be the same as Warlord Realm, and the grade continue like this and so.

Each grade is further divided into low, middle, high and top, and so Fang Li has judged this wolf who was charging toward him to be lower grade 1 beast because he sensed that it should be around the same strength as the cultivating bandit he just killed.

Out of the twenty wolves, ten of them should be low grade, five of them in middle grade, four of them high grade, and the Wolf Prince should be the strongest at top grade, which is and just half a step away from becoming a grade 2 beast.

The wolf visage grew closer and closer until it was just a few meters away from Fang Li, the wolf then took a leap, opening its mouth as to bite a piece of fleshy meat from its prey, but in Fang Li eyes, this move was too slow so he easily dodged by rolling to the side, his mushroom hair began to mess up slightly due to the roll but this didn’t bother him the slightest, he hurriedly through out the kunai towards the brain of the wolf, it swiftly etched itself into the head of the beast when it was still in midair, killing it instantly as it dropped to the floor, the other wolves grew angry at this outcome, the silver wolf prince howled mournfully before ordering the other nine low grade wolf to attack.

The whole force hadn’t attack at once because there are some obvious problems to this, too many wolves attacking the same target would cluster the space, which will result in restricting their movements too much, and the wolves are prideful creatures, the wolf prince felt no reason to let the stronger wolves move just yet and used the lower grade lackeys to test this human out first.

The nine wolves circled around the green human, Fang Li had already taken back his kunai, standing firmly while waiting for the next more, he still had to be careful because just as he can kill them instantly, they could do the same to him, one bite is all that it takes to injure him. Four of the wolves decided to attack at once from different directions. This time Fang Li didn’t throw out the kunai, but used it as a dagger, he with Human Body level 6 Realm could move faster than these wolves, he decided to go after one of them, that wolf stared down Fang Li as they both ran towards each other, the wolf then took a leap with the intention of biting into the boy, but Fang Li just increased his speed and slid underneath the leaping wolf, he then took the kunai and gutted the wolf from its neck and down its stomach.

He felt the feeling of cutting through organs and the wolf blood has also sprayed all over himself which made him feel a little sick, this made him pause for a small moment, but he quickly recovered his mind as he sensed the other wolves just nearby, he quickly jumped into the air, his jump made him go up to three meters high, he saw the three wolves just below him, he felt cold sweat dripping down his forehead.

‘That was a close one’ He thought, he had just narrowly dodged the bite of these three wolves, they almost caught him due to that moment of weakness, he gripped the kunai in frustration before throwing one out with all his might.

He now had a total of 100 Shinobi Points, he quickly ordered two more kunai from the Naruto System which costed him 50 points and threw them out while he was still in the air.

He easily made back his points after spending it, but he thought it should be best to just save up for now since he had already gauge the wolf’s strength, he has no need to play it safe since he has seen the wolf’s capability, he quickly collected all the kunai’s back, a total of three, he placed one on his waist for reserve and held the other two in both his hands tightly.

That Silver Wolf Prince grew angrier and growled towards Fang Li sinisterly, this wolf was so angry at the green ant like existence, constantly fighting back against him, whoever this prince wants dead, will die! So, the Prince ordered the five middle grade wolves to attack with the remaining four lower graded one, a total of nine enemies at a time, they circled and rushed towards Fang Li, covering all sides of this boy so that it could not escape.

Fang Li threw the two kunai’s killing two low graded wolves instantly, which just roused up the killing intent of the other wolves due to excessive anger, he hurriedly took out the last kunai, keeping a hold of it and using it as a dagger, the first wolf to pounce on him met a sad ending, Fang Li jumped and did a side sweep across the beast head, once the foot connected, a cracking sound resounded throughout the forest, but Fang Li wasn’t done yet, he spun his body 270 degrees and followed up with another kick with his other leg, this made the head of the beast crack right open, crushing its brain, killing it instantly, and once he fell down to the ground, he rolled backwards as to avoid the last low grade wolf pounce attack, the wolf took a swipe out with its sharp claws but missed Fang Li by a hairs breath, that wolf then felt a tugging force on its behind right leg, this was Fang Li who quickly held the leg of the wolf, and using his overwhelming body strength, he threw the wolf right into a nearby tree just a few meters away from him, the tree shook furiously as the green leaves fell to the ground, the force of the wolf had almost broke the tree in half, but the wolf ribs did break and it howled furiously in pain before the wolf went dead silence, Fang Li has already stabbed into its head with the kunai, killing it instantly.

He hurried back to his previous location because that was where Ling Tong was hiding, he knew that wolves has a keen sense of smell and would easily be able to discover her, so he already had a hunch that they knew she was there, he acted accordingly and moved to protect the area where she is hiding at, the five middle grade wolves had made finally appeared around him, circling around him but not making a move yet, obviously more cautious and a little more intelligent then the lower grade wolves. He quickly placed the kunai on his waist and then began to make hand signs.

This was the clone technique that he has bought from back then, he made a complete copy of himself, but if you look closely, all the small details were not exactly alike, some details if studied closely differ from the original, Fang Li only has enough mastery to summon just one of such clone as he hasn’t practice much on this technique, the clone couldn’t attack, it is onlu just like holograms made to confuse enemies, a far cry from the famous shadow clones, which has physical forms and can attack.

Not only were all the wolves surprised and confused, Ling Tong who was quietly watching from the side had almost exclaimed out in shock, she quietly covered her mouth as to not leak out a sound, but her eyes shined in awe, magical abilities intrigued her a lot, and deeply down in her heart, she wanted to be just like Fang Li.

The five wolves became impatient, rushing out at the same time, two went for the clone, and Fang Li had the clone pretend to be him, dodging those two wolves attack for the time being, he then focused on himself, the three wolves pounced on him at the same time, Fang Li just turned to one of them and jumped up, stomping on the head of one, he then spun around while utilizing the leaf whirlwind technique, he easily launched a flurry of kicks in midair, knocking out two of the wolves and making them suffer a lot of damage while dodging the last wolf, he then fell to the ground with a flip and then ducked underneath, the last wolf then pounced towards Fang Li, all he did was wait for the right moment, and did a upper kick, kicking the jaw of the beast and making him fly upwards in midair, Fang Li took this opportunity to slash out with his kunai onto the expose stomach, killing the wolf brutally, he then took the opportunity to kill the other two wolf who were knocked out.

Killing one middle grade wolf gave him 50 Shinobi Points, he now has a total of 350 Shinobi Points, Fang Li was about to buy something when he saw his clone pop into a puff of smoke, this ordinary clone was too useless, its capability isn’t even equal to the original Fang Li, the technique broke after one swipe but Fang Li didn’t care a bit, if he was honest, that clone was just a test, he wanted to try it out in a fight because he hasn’t used it that much, he was this confident to test something because he new he could easily take on the five middle rank wolf at the same time.

Fang Li then charged towards two remaining middle grade wolf who were standing there in a daze, they were both confused at the disappearing clone, he threw the kunai at one of the wolves, it flew swiftly through the air and then penetrated the right eyes of the wolf.

Fang Li then kicked the kunai deeper into the brains of the wailing wolf, ending its pain and misery then and there, the other wolf woke up from its stupor and immediately ran away, it was utterly and totally afraid of this terrifying green beast! Fang Li only smirked for a small moment when he felt his bone shiver coldly. He felt a suppressive force fall onto his body and he felt the alarms going off inside his body of the coming danger.

Not only did Fang Li jump to the side because of his danger senses, he also quickly weaved the sign for the body replacement technique with upmost speed.

He looked downwards towards the side of his body while wincing heavily in pain, there was a large bleeding gash above his left hip, the wound was undeniably painful, but he bit his lips to bear with it, he saw the silver wolf in the place he was just at before.

‘Fast!’ Fang Li was so shocked, he hurriedly opened the first gate, the gate of opening, this made the pain ease just a tiny bit but also summoned his hidden strength, he should be around five times stronger than before because a person can only use 20% of their muscle strength, once the first gate is opened, the restriction is lifted, and a person can now use 100% of their strength, hence becoming five times stronger than before.

But Fang Li thought that even in this form he would still be weaker than this wolf prince, and just as he was studying that silver wolf, that silver wolf also studied him, it was a little shocked in its heart because the mysterious boy disappeared and appeared to another area instantly, and what replaced the boy was a small log, the wolf instantly smashed the log into pieces due to anger, then howled out an order to the remaining wolves.

There were a total of four high grade wolves who followed from behind, one of them caught the runaway wolf and bit into its neck ruthlessly, that middle grade wolf cried out in misery before its eyes turned lifeless and its body went limp. Another wolf rushed towards where Ling Tong was hiding, Fang Li was so shocked at this speed, although slower then the silver wolf by a bit, it was still fast enough to cause Fang Li to take them much more seriously, Fang Li thought that these high grade wolves have a huge leap in ability than middle grade because these high grade wolves can utilize the energy inside of them, the wolf going after Ling Tong has its glowing claws, obviously it is powered up by Qi, which increases their speed and strength.

“AHHHHHHHHHH”

Ling Tong screamed as she jumped out of her hiding place due to fright, her back was arched down, and her appearance was pitiful, she had no way to defend herself since she was injured and weaponless. She watched in despair once the wolf grew closer and closer, she closed her eyes, biting her lips in regret, regret that she will not be able to take out the Silver Wolf Bandits to protect her village, the vicious wolf pounced towards her with its glowing razor-sharp claws which were ready to rip her apart.

“Eh?”

She felt her body float backwards, and she landed safely at a distance area, the wolf pounced at an empty space, crashing into the bush and tree where she was just at, that tree burst into shrapnel’s which penetrated one of the wolf eyes, it wailed in pain and anger and as the tree breaks in half.

Fang Li sighed in relief, because just then, he waved his arms and a light blue chakra string appeared from the tip of his fingers and was connected to Ling Tong who was hiding in the bushes, Fang Li secretly connected the chakra string to Ling Tong just as the wolves first appeared, he had trained in using chakra string before when he had free time, all he had done was make the string thin enough to be almost invisible, and once danger befell Ling Tong, he dragged her out of harms way with the strings that were attached to her body.

But he then shifted his focus back to himself, the silver wolf along with three high grade wolves had already staring at him like he was only a tiny ant, not only that the last wolf near Ling Tong, had just begun to charge out to her once again.

Fang Li took a deep breath, he didn’t think he could fight against a force stronger then himself and save Ling Tong at the same time, he wasn’t Granny Chiyo who could casually fight and control Sakura movement against a strong enemy like Sasori of the Red Sand, how can he replicate such a thing? He has barely started his shinobi career with his strength merely at Genin level.

He also remembered the fight during his strange enlightenment against the copy of himself, but that was a humanoid figure, he was confident he could take out a group of humans with the same strength as these wolves easily with his taijutsu, but unfortunately he was fighting against wolves which were a totally different species, they had claws and teeth that could easily tear his body apart, and although Fang Li was faster then the high grade wolves, that Wolf Prince is faster then him! He was beginning to feel hopeless about the situation, if he comes out of this predicament alive, then it would at most be in an injured state, but he could not guarantee Ling Tong safety which made him feel sad.

But suddenly, he felt something wet brush against his skin, one drop, two drop, just a few seconds later his body was covered in rain drops, the sky turned darker and the clouds reign high, the forest was now pouring with rain, washing away the filthy blood off Fang Li’s body.

‘A chance!’ Fang Li thought in excitement due to the rains appearance.
