Fang Li immediately stopped what he was doing and turned towards the sound, in the distance he could see a bloodied and dishevelled young girl who was running for her life, and behind her was a sinister looking older man who was laughing sadistically as followed behind from further away.

'Oh no' He thought as the girl saw him, she was stunned by the sight of a weird looking boy.

She was slightly afraid as she saw his bowl haircut and bushy brows, the sight had made her stumble forward, tripping over in despair as the older man came closer and closer.

"Back off you trash" Fang Li didn't know why he revealed himself to the enemy, but with the costume of Rock Lee, he almost felt like him, emulating his heroic sense of justice, Fang Li began to charge up towards the girl, standing between her and the dangerous man while in a defensive position, brandishing the kunai in preparation.

"Boy you should mind your own business less you lose your life right here and now" The man said chillingly while brandishing his scimitar, but Fang Li didn't panic too much as he sensed that the man was an ordinary commoner, with no cultivation, in these poor lands it is common to see non cultivator, not everyone is blessed with good meridians.

"Where is Grandpa Fang" The little girl mumbled out hopefully, she now recognise the boy in front of her after seeing his face closely, Fang Li, it took her a moment to find out cause she had seen him before, everyone from the village knows about the old man and the young boy who had moved in nearby, the old man could heal people, make medicine, and kill off bandits, she was someone who came to see the old man a few years ago when she got sick, coincidently she saw a boy playing beside that old man.

So even though Fang Li has a new getup and a new hairstyle, she recognised that face from all those years ago. Startled by her voice, he filtered through his memories, but doesn't remember this girl at all, though she mentioned his grandfather, she must be a resident of the village nearby.

"He died of old age, just recently" He said sadly to which the girl then dropped down in despair, grandpa Fang could fight, but everyone knew this boy who grandpa Fang raised, was useless, she obviously didn't feel optimistic anymore, she was now awaiting death at any moment.

"Huuumpft, since you didn't scram for your life, come die by my blade!" The man said while charging out with his scimitar.

The man moved at a fast speed, he must have been an experience bandit, though a commoner, he was more or so with the same strength as Fang Li, maybe a little bit stronger.

Fang Li watch as he was moving in closer, 10 metres, 9 metres, 8, 7......... and at 3 metres, he suddenly executive some hand signs.

The man slashed down his sharp scimitar only to have cut down a log, he was stunned speechless, his eyes wide open as he tries to spot where the boy went, he was shivering in fright, regretful to offend a cultivator. The man couldn't spot him, but he saw that the girl was looking above him in surprise, he too looked up.

There above him was the boy, he is standing above on top of a tree looking down coldly at him, but before he could react, a sparkling shiny thing was caught in his vision, but not even a second late, the man’s vision went black, he fell to forward, slumping onto the ground lifeless.

There was a kunai etched into the corpses forehead, blood came pouring out into the ground painting the area red, Fang Li jumped down from the tree, to take back the kunai, he felt sick to his stomach while doing just that and had to turn away from the corpse with a green sickly face.

'Am I supposed to be happy now?' He thought in his mind, he thought that it would be fun to live in this world with a Naruto System but now he has finally stumbled upon the harsh reality of the world, that it is a world of kill or be killed, survival of the fittest.
