Monthly report on Eve Genetic Corp
It had been a rough start of the week for the EGC, their stock prices dropped by 1% after the terrorist raid on Monday. But the overall value still exceeded last month by 2%, thanks to the release of a new Winged breed, the Mini Dragon.
Unlike other Winged breed which has bird-like wings, the Mini Dragon is a small, lizard like pet with a flexible membrane for wings similar to that of a bat, or a dragon in popular culture. Reported number of orders was much higher than anticipated. Because of its small size and friendly behavior, it was extremely popular with students and those who were getting their first pet.
“Sales on other Winged pets have also increased, we are working hard to breed more well behaved pets and also to meet with sky rocketing demands. In addition, demands for genetic ear implants had increased by 50% so far for this year.” - Martha Seals, EGC marketing manager.
With the increase in demand for genetically modified winged pets, there are also many questions to whether the EGC will allow for the genetic grafting of wings onto humans. Mr. Tom’s response was somewhat of a denial.
“We currently have no plans for human wing implants. Please note that currently such extensive human body modification is against our policy and ideology.” - Tom Price.
It is reported that other genetic companies besides Eve have had plans for human wing implants.
