《Game On》NAC: Author Update

I must apologize to all you guys. I never intended to let all my work end up and go dormant, but I did. I'm sorry for that, and I wanted to take a moment to explain:
Last year, the doctor told me that I had an aneurysm bulging on the side of the main artery coming out my my heart. When I visited the surgeon, he informed me that the size of the aneurysm was such that it only had a 6% chance of rupturing every year. Of course, if it does rupture, that's a case of almost instant death as it's the main artery right at the heart itself...
I was advised that with my weight (over 300 pounds), the risk of performing "the most dangerous surgery in the world" (the surgeon's exact words), was greater than the risk of the aneurysm rupturing and killing me. He refused to do the surgery...
So, I'd basically been advised, "You have a timebomb at your heart that can explode and kill you at any moment, and there's nothing we can do about it." Needless to say, the worry and depression that caused, basically destroyed any motivation I had to do much of anything -- much less write...
BUT...
We all pass sometime, and time helps one come to terms with anything. Excessive boredom while doing nothing is a great motivator too, so I eventually decided to sit back down and write again to help pass the time as I struggle to lose weight so I can have the surgery (the surgeon said he'd want me to drop to below 200 pounds), or I simply meet my expiration date.
I've completely lost track of my old stories, and since I'm wanting to write now, without having to catch back up to where I was previously, I decided to start and share a new work, which you can find here, if you're interested: Two Times Perfect
Best of wishes, and I've got to admit, it's nice to know that I still have some fans around who might remember my work.

The Book of Mors: Summoned
Around two thousand years ago, The world of Acoria suffered what is known as The Great Calamity, turning the continent of Teknish into a smouldering wasteland, irradiated by chaotic mana and ravaged by savage energy storms, causing the surviving sentient races to flee to the much smaller and resource deficient continent of Malthasia. The year is now 2101 AGC (After Great Cataclysm) and the intense competition for space and resources has left humanity with only three surviving kingdoms, protected by the nearly impassable mountains of the Antaeth basin. Standing on the verge of collapse, the human kingdom of Vonai is forced to perform a summoning ritual, ripping souls from another dimension and implanting them into magically created bodies. Little do they know that by doing so, they have changed the fate of the world and everyone in it, for, in the infinite dimensions of the mortal realm, there are some existences you do not want to provoke. Deep Delve
Kevin is in a bit of rut. He's working for Wal-mart, and his engineering degree is gathering dust. He spends his off hours enjoying a variety of Virtual Reality games, and carpet bombing his resume to any firm that might accept it, and some who he is sure will not. Along with a substantial portion of the gaming world, he is eagerly awaiting the release of Deep Delve, a secretive but wildly speculated about VR-MMORPG. Kevin receives a surprise phone call two weeks before Deep Delve is set for release, and finds himself taking an offer he just can't refuse.

Re:Mento Mori
When Ryuji, a disgruntled salaryman, is supposed to reach an unfortunate end, he is instead thrust into a new world, inhabiting a body that isn't his own. Forced into a world filled with strife and death, can he claim freedom and happiness? Or will his turbulent new life only lead to suffering and pain? As with every time-loop story written by an amateur author, this is heavily inspired by Re:Zero. If I had to explain my book, I would say imagine Re:Zero, but the main character can actually fight people instead of just getting merked every time he meets someone with a weapon. The themes of this story are dark, so be forewarned. This is my first story so keep that in mind while reading it.

Does Hell Have an Adventurers' Guild?
I have decided to try out a different style. I cannot say much at this point, the story is mostly fantasy/romance and will evolve as I go, but it will involve an "adventurers' guild" in a demonic setting. MC will be a reincarnator becoming a denizen of hell, I will add vital description as I go. Gore will be used with reason, some bad words here and there and severe explicit or traumatizing content will be announced in advance, but it will not be the focus of the work.
