《Sasha》52. ~Fun~

Hello everyone!
This story has been quite an adventure for me thus far. It was mostly an experiment of mine set outside a fantasy setting, but now I'm really determined to finish before continuing anything else!
So we have a poll here called "What ending would you like Sasha to have?" This is to settle my curiosity and will not affect my ending or my story what-so-ever. It's set in stone! (Well, figuratively anyways)
So after you vote for your favorite option, you could also maybe go here and plop a rating, maybe a review if you haven't done so yet? I need more than my determination to keep me writing these days... procrastination is winning! Beat it to a pulp for me with some comments!
Anyways, enough of my rambling, below this epic darkling is what you're really here for.
Panting, Sasha approached Yatsu's home. Without knocking, she opened the door. Yatsu's mom -holding a basket of clean clothes- spotted Sasha taking off her shoes. “Oh, Sasha! I didn't hear you knock,” she said. “You here to see Yatsu?” Sasha paused. “He's not here?” “He's in his room,” she held out the basket. “Could you take this with you?” Sasha recognized the clothes, some of them Yatsu wore to school a number of times. Sasha took hold. “You should wear a dress more often, you look cute,” Yatsu's mom winked and walked back toward the laundry room. “Have fun.” Sasha swallowed the compliment and rushed upstairs, nearly bumping into Rika. Rika looked her up and down once before grabbing Sasha's shoulders and backing her to a corner. “What did my little brother do for you to dress up like that?” “Nothing, I-” “I'll hurt him if-” Sasha glared at her. Rika flinched. “I wanted to wear this today,” Sasha said. “Now let me go, I have his fresh clothes.” Rika glanced at the basket. “Fine.” She said, releasing her and mumbling something to herself as she retreated downstairs. Free, Sasha stepped forward and knocked on Yatsu's bedroom door. “Yes?” Yatsu called out, not sounding excited that he had a visitor. Sasha trembled. It's been too long since she's heard his voice. “It's me.” “Sasha? One minute!” Sasha smiled, listening to Yatsu's curses as he scrambled to prepare himself. Curious, Sasha tried the doorknob. The door inched open. Sasha couldn't wait and said, “I'm coming in.” Yatsu froze in place, sitting over his bed, holding a pair of pants pulled up to his knees. Staring at Sasha with wide eyes. Sasha placed the basket of clothes beside the door and moved toward him. “I can help you,” she said. Yatsu's cheeks pinked but let Sasha help. She noted he was still sore, wincing when he pulled up too hard. “T-thanks,” Yatsu stuttered. “Why're you...” he looked her up and down. Sasha smiled. “I wore it to school today, do you like it?” She twirled for him. Yatsu stared at her. Sasha's cheeks heated up. He finally nodded approval. Sasha frowned and crossed her arms. “Do you seriously like it?” Yatsu stepped forward. Wrapped his arms around her and squeezed gently. “You look adorable.” Sasha blushed, and a wave of pure fuzziness washed through her from his touch. Yatsu leaned back a little, his face close. “Can I-?” He leaned closer. And closer. His lips mashed into hers. Lightning shot through the fuzziness. When he pulled back, she leaned forward for more. She wanted him closer, she wanted more lightning. More of Yatsu. Instinct took over, she kissed him back. Until he moved too far away for her reach. Sasha didn't hear what Yatsu said next, still lost in pleasure. She tugged him in, genly wrapping her arms around his waist, resting her head against his chest. His heart ker-thumped over and over again. “-asha... Sasha? You okay?” Yatsu asked. “I-I’m fine,” Sasha stuttered, burring her face into his shirt so he couldn't see her. “You know I don’t want to wear a dress ever again after today.” Yatsu flinched, but then pulled her tighter. “You are too cute in that one not to wear another,” He whispered. “Would you wear them on occasion?” “No, they get in the way and-” Yatsu pushed her to arms length, his dark eyes demanded attention. Sasha shuffled her feet in discomfort, and looked away embarrassed. The lightning dissipated, the fuzziness began to fade, barely kept alive with his hands firmly resting on her shoulders. “I g-guess... if it was for you I could... on occasion...” “Sasha~” The way he said her name made her knees weak. Sasha met his eyes as he leaned in. Lightning pierced through her again. Stronger than the first time. “I love you,” he said in between. “-and I'll take you up on that offer,” he kissed her again. “On occasion... for me...”

Keeper
When I first woke up I knew only three things: My name is Reiza, I have a seed I need to care for, and a song. I was told that the forest I woke up in was mine and that I needed to take control of it and protect it. The only things standing in my way are nature itself, a bunch of strange floating boxes, and a group of crazy powerful creatures known as the forest queens. Sounds pretty simple right? It might be if it weren't for the fact that I have absolutely zero memory, but hey at least I know my name. Also apparently my enemies aren't only inside the forest. Forces from the outside got news that somthing was going down in my new home and are coming to crash my party. Can I claim this forest? Can I protect it? And most importantly can I figure out who I am and what's going on? I'm not sure but I'm going to try. Hey everyone I'm fairly new to writing novles and this is my first time ever putting my work on a site like this one. I hope you enjoy the story and would appreciate your feedback. I would ask that you read through at least a couple of chapters before leaving a rating. I know I have some trouble with grammer and how I structure some of my sentences and while feedback on that is appreciated what I would value most is feedback on the story as a whole in terms of how the plot works and if you are enjoying it or not. As Arthur opens his eyes, he finds himself in an unknown place, smack-dab in the middle of nowhere, without anything to help him survive save for a set of pyjamas and little knowledge of outdoors survival. Follow his steps as he tries to figure out where he is, and what will become of him. Sunchasers is a Fantasy novel with a sprinkle of lightweight sort of LitRPG (i.e. without Classes or Stats). While the first ten or so chapters of Book I are about Arthur's lonesome survival, the rest of the story focuses more on exploration and the protagonist will come in contact with other people quite often. The novel is being written in British English and using the metrics system. (I do not own the Cover) Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoy this journey! I have a Discord Server, Join Here!

AN ILLUSTRATED NOVEL • UPDATES TUESDAY AND FRIDAY In a time before living memory, the King Dragon of the Void watched the world and realized there was a crack. He realized that humanity was destroying the rock upon which they lived; they leaked life’s code into the churning chaos. At first the change was imperceptible: nanites overtook microorganisms, bacteria, viruses, amoebas. Insects became increasingly inorganic; birds and lizards followed soon after. Even humans were infected by their own advances, cell by cell, till there was not a person left on earth who wasn’t at least part synthetic, the product of a prior generation’s carelessness. The world’s population was ravaged by mechanical viruses with no vaccines; they were mercilessly overtaken by bacteria that knew no death. Soon, most of the planet was empty and only a handful remained who remembered the hedonist realm they came from; only a few were left who remembered what the world looked like when their buildings touched the sky. The King Dragon of the Void watched the rock turn. He watched humans cower as the Old World fell down around them; watched their great monuments crumble into dusty ruins; watched their codes become precious, ancient gem memories forged under the crushing pressure of so many fallen stones. The world has spun many times around the sun since chaos swallowed man whole. It is a simpler time than the one that died out, but the people now are not immune to the folly of the people before. There is old code everywhere: in the water, in the air, in the trees. The heart of man has been replaced by power cores, many of which are hard-coded with preternatural abilities—when they die, an esoteric mountain sect collects their cores and stores them in their hollow mountain home to preserve the sanctity and dignity of human death. They’ve learned to harness artifacts of the old world, gemstones full of codes their nanite infused bodies can parse as spells imbuing their users with great power; they inlay them into their bodies, into their skins, connected to their cores by copper conduit and gold tracers; they dress themselves in tattoos to advertise their prowess; they battle for relics in arenas, fight for them in the open world wherever they are found. The King Dragon of the Void watches the rock turn and wonders: when will this hunger finally make the rock stop spinning? WELCOME TO FANXING CITY … Twenty-five years ago, Fanxing City and the surrounding lands were commanded by the mad King Zao Beiguan. For many years, the King hoarded wealth, artifacts, food; he demanded tribute from a people already taxed to the edges of their existence and expected they be happy with their circumstances. Noncompliance was often punished harshly, bodies displayed proudly on Fanxing’s streets as a warning, from the city gates to the Zao palace’s golden doors. The youths of several prominent clans came together to overthrow the tyrant and made names for themselves as legendary heroes across the land: Tian, Ren, Feng, Gui, Ma, and Zhenxi. Even wanderers from the Luanshi sect descended from Yunji mountain to aid the rebellion. When the dust settled after three years, Tian Yunyong ascended the throne of Fanxing and swore to honour his slain father’s memory, and has maintained Fanxing’s peace with generosity and mercy where fear and cruelty once reigned.
