《The Demon's Gate》Chapter 251: Monarch's Nine Rebirths.

Yao Jun appeared in the core of the volcano that used to be the centerpiece of Xuhuan's territory, the once terrifyingly hot magma now completely stiff thanks to the cold outside the volcano. The core of the volcano was actually just a small hole in the midst of the volcano, only a few meters wide and tall, with veins of stiff magma running along the entirety of the walls. It was rather hard to discover and reach this place without the law of space so Yao Jun felt that he would be able to get some peace here.
Yao Jun raised his right arm, the yellow tower appearing in his palm. Now that he had defeated Yuri Jahad and completed the deal between the two of them he could finally check out and start using this tower. He placed the tower on the ground and sank his Qi into it, a strong attractive force quickly gushing forth from the tower and pulling Yao Jun into it.
As the tower wasn't currently bound by anyone, Yao Jun was brought directly to the heart of the tower, arriving in a star-filled void. Floating a short distance ahead of him was a 3-d array vaguely shaped like a heart that was occasionally pulsating with yellow light. Other than this array, the core of the tower, there was nothing else in the area, the star-filled void seemingly stretching out into infinity.
Yao Jun swept the surrounding area with his gaze for a short moment before focusing on the array, stepping closer to it and giving it a closer inspection. The array was about 15 meters tall and wide, filled with countless indents that seemed just large enough to hold a Spirit Stone, Yao Jun guessed that they were there so that one could use Spirit Stones to drive the time acceleration portion of the array. The time acceleration could be fueled using one's own Qi, but cultivation wouldn't be as effective if your Qi was being constantly drained.
Yao Jun stretched out his right arm and used a thin blade of space to slice a wound into his palm, dripping all the blood onto the array while also inserting some of his Qi into it. The array quickly lit up with a blindingly bright light that covered the entire void, the light vanishing shortly after it appeared, the array now pulsating more frequently.

When the light vanished, Yao Jun could feel a connection being established between him and the array, the entire tower falling under his control and allowing him to move around everything inside it as he pleased. Yao Jun traced some of the indents on the array with his index finger, the cut on his palm quickly healing while he was muttering to himself.
"Well, let's give it a try and see if it's really as good as they said."
Yao Jun took out several Heaven grade Spirit Stones from his interspatial ring, he had received a small stockpile of them after killing Xiao Yan and Ren Jingyi. He put the Spirit Stones into the indents, the array quickly starting to drain their energy while also allowing Yao Jun to decide by how much he wanted to accelerate the speed of time within the tower. Yao Jun first tried to have the array increase the flow of time by 1000 times, the most it could handle, but the moment he did so a massive energy drain was set in motion, with time only staying sped up for half a second before all the energy was drained from the Spirit Stones. He gave a slight click of his tongue, bringing out more Spirit Stones.
"Tch, figures that it would be a goddamn energy hog."
He placed the new Spirit Stones into the slots, which were now empty as the previous Spirit Stones had turned to dust, activating the array once more. This time he only had the array increase the flow of time by 50, not wanting to completely waste too many Spirit Stones. The array quickly started to drain the energy within the Spirit Stones, but it was far slower than when he had it increase the flow of time by 1000. At the current rate that it was draining energy, he calculated that it would require 100 Heaven Grade Spirit Stones to keep the array active for one normal day.
Using 100 Heaven Grade Spirit Stones to buy himself 49 days of cultivation was not a bad trade at all, he only had to make sure to constantly feed it more Spirit Stones. Xiao Yan had been quite rich so Yao Jun even had 10 Primordial grade Spirit Stones on hand right now, but he was a bit more reluctant to use them to fuel the array, there was no telling when they would be useful in the future.

Yao Jun placed 500 Heaven grade Spirit Stones into the array, leaving him with only another 1000 Heaven grade Spirit Stones, this would let the array stay active for the next five days, or 250 for him. Once he made sure that the array was running without a problem, he vanished from the void to check out the other five floors that he could tell that this tower had, checking them in descending order.
The fifth floor was a burning wasteland, smoking volcanoes dotting the area as the occasional geyser of flames or magma burst through the red-tinted earth. The smell of sulfur hung thick in the air so Yao Jun found it somewhat uncomfortable to be here but it would be a paradise to fire-type Demonic beast, a vast amount of very pure fire-type Qi filling the air.
The fourth floor was a vast ocean that had a few islands spread across it, the smell of saltwater hanging as thick here as the smell of sulfur had on the previous floor. This floor was filled with a very pure water-type Qi so it was clearly designed to house any water-type Demonic beasts that the owner of the tower picked up.
The third floor was covered in tall mountains of various shapes as far as the eyes could see, an almost devastatingly strong wind blowing between the mountains. Just as it looked, the floor was filled with wind Qi, most bird-type Demonic beasts would find this place very enjoyable.
The second floor also seemed to be designed for Demonic beasts, it was an expansive forest that housed countless plants and different types of trees, the air thick with wood and earth Qi. Yao Jun only gave all these floors a quick glance before moving away from them, he already had the inside of his God Gate, which was better for Demonic beasts than these areas.
The first floor interested him a bit more than the rest, it was a large city that had an architecture reminiscent of the one that the Demon Race on his home planet used, stone buildings decorated with spires and carved statues of Demonic beasts. At the center of the city stood a tower that was a perfect replica of the actual tower that housed this city, the tower looming high over all the other buildings.
Yao Jun moved through the city and inspected it, checking out the various buildings that interested him. The city was actually fully furnished, it had a smithy ready for weapon crafting, one for armor crafting, a place where one could practice alchemy, a hospital for non-cultivators and one for cultivators, a place where one could create array components, it even had stacked library in the shape of a seven-floored pagoda. If he let people use the second floor for farming and rearing animals, Yao Jun could turn this place into a perfectly self-sufficient city. Of course, as he already had his God Gate, Yao Jun would only be using this place for its time acceleration ability.
Yao Jun picked a random house in the city and entered it, stepping into a rather neatly decorated living room that featured several scenery paintings in different art styles. Yao Jun sat down on a couch covered in soft silk and brought out a light yellow scroll from his interspatial ring, the paper so old that it was crackling slightly when he unfurled the scroll. This scroll was the last item he had bought during the grand auction, a complete soul cultivation technique that could be used to cultivate all the way to the Godking realm.
When he unfurled the entire roll, the faded letters lit up with a splendid light, the words imprinting themselves in Yao Jun's mind and forming images that taught him how to cultivate the technique. The first thing to enter Yao Jun's mind was the name of the technique as well as the basis of how to cultivate it.
'Monarch's Nine Rebirths, destroy yourself and be reborn stronger than before, let your soul seize the heavens themselves."
